Great old fashioned , (established 1888) well kept golf course in Karachi, with old colonial charm.3 sets of 9 hole fairway with varying degrees is challenges, water hazard and the normal sand bunkers. Decent number of ‘dog-legs’ to challenge you. Had great time at perfect 22c with light breeze.

The Karachi Golf Club, is a golf course situated in Karsaz, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The 27-hole golf course is the oldest golf club in Pakistan.The course was turfed, landscaped, and filled with greenery, making it one of the largest green areas in Karachi. The Karachi Golf Club was an affiliate of the Sindh Club in 1888 and registered as an independent club in 1891.The course was relocated to the present site in 1953. In 1991, renowned architect Peter Heradine designed the 18 hole Championship Course. The 18 hole Green Course was created a year later and in 1993 nine more holes were built. The three courses are now referred as the Blue, Yellow and Red Courses.Golf in Karachi has gained in popularity and the Karachi Golf Club is a favourite pick.The golf club is where the Pakistan Open is hosted.

This is the oldest and the best Golf Club in Karachi. It is located within the naval area of Karsaz so you may need to go with a security check to reach the club. The club has 27 holes, snack bar, dining hall, gym etc. Always good to play a round of golf here.

A heaven for golfers but at weekends or holidays exorbitantly high green Fee is charged so try to play on weekdays. The course is well maintained and worth a visit.

Its a heaven in Karachi. It has lush green fairways with small jungles and other hazards in between. One can enjoy golf and the nature in one go. The restaurant services are pretty good and at quite reasonable cost. The staff is also cordial. All this in the middle of the city of 2 million people.

The Karachi Golf Club is located in the PNS Karsaz is surrounded by some beautiful parks. The security is good and safety is their top priority. The entire area is surrounded by well kept greenery and a heartwarming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend visiting with family.

Best soup and best tea.

The marriage hall is an excellent place to have a large wedding. The garden can be done to your liking woth ample parking space and golf carts for the elderly are avalible by arrangement, to take them from the parking to the venue. One of the great venues for large weddings although the grass is not that good and a lot of mud is around but all in all a great venue.

One of the oldest golf Club of Pakistan with a character of its own.Inspite of the water problem, Has come a long way from 18 holes of grass less fairways and chocolate greens to the present 27 holes of lush green fairways and amazing greens.

KGC is a lovely place.

Founded in 1888, this is perhaps Pakistans oldest golf course , now with three 9 hole layouts , and hosts the Asian Tour. Its a private club with no commercial activity. Membership is difficult due to a long waiting period.Find a member and ask him to take you to tea with Sindhi pakoras on front lawn or lunch at the governors gallery which overlooks the course. Or to the practice range to try hitting a few balls. Dress restrictions apply. No jeans and no strapless shoes. Go well dressed and groomed. If you are not dressed per club code you will not be served and your host will be politely informed about dress infringement.

Nice ambiance, best greenery in middle of the city, play area for children, they also have a little zoo and well maintained over all. It gives one a feeling of wilderness. Its best to go there when you feel exhausted due to daily city hustle and bustle.The place have a calming effect on the nerves. I love to go there and spend as much time as possible.

Been coming to this place for more than a decade. A great place to play golf with an exceptional staff who are professionals and wonderful to interact with. And of course the food is just great.

Course layout is good yet the smell from gray wTer irrigation can be offensive at times.great sevice in club itself.

They have security checks more convenient for golfers. Interesting thing at night 100s go to attend weddings with no security check.

Great place for golfers

I attended a wedding at Karachi Golf Club. It was nice and overall a very good experience. The hall was not completely covered, so it was cold, since it was December. Other than that, the valet service was also very good.

Good golfing place

The food was very good. We had the Masala Fish. It was excellent. The presentation too was quite good.

The oldest and probably the best golf club in the city, in my opinion. The is a nice club house and driving range. The is also a walking path if you want to stroll around. Lastly, there are birds enclosures, if you have kids with you. There is also a venue for events like weddings which can be setup on request.
