Food is good, BBQ is what it should be like. Only the sitting area for singles is not good. Family dining area is much better. Serving time is excellent. The variety of BBQ along with other dishes is a complete package. Prices are excellent for a repeated weekly dining. Highly recommended..!

The management of Ghaffar Kabab must look after their customers well, especially in these COVID 19 days when doctors are emphasizing the masses to use weldone chicken,meat or beef dishes. But our experience last night was not so good as we had under cooked Tikka and chicken boti. And also there wasnt enough space to breath easily in btw chairs, and tables in general.

Food was gud taste wise.Cleanliness is not upto the mark.Environment is good.Rest room in there on the roof.Wide variety of food.BBQ was gud, Nihari is average.Serving was very late. They took alot of time.

If youre okay with the street food-esque environment, you will keep coming back for more.. This place is as authentic as it gets!

Shaikh Abdul Ghaffar is renowned among desi food lovers. They have good BBQ menu and with taste. Service is quick and dinning hall is big enough to cater good number of guests. The only problem is the location and on weekends there is every possibility that you will not get a parking inside the street and if by mistake you enter the street you will get stuck, so the only option is to park the car on main road and walk. Take away could be the better option to avoid congestion.

Amazing experience as always, went on night of 31st December without cash, went out for and atms was not responding, the waiters were so cooperative that we called some manager and he managed to online transfer the bill and that was a spot on save

The nihari a staple of Ghaffars was a total let down. It was too spicy the meat was not upto par. And my stomach was killing me after the experience.

Not worth the price they are charging. Charging Rs. 470/- for Malai Boti comprising only two seekhs and reduced size of pieces is of less value. Though taste is good but you may get same taste in better environment at plenty of other places in same or less price tag.

There was only CHARBI and there were ZERO traces of Chkn and Beef.They served old and expired food that was NOT fresh at all. Our entire amount was gone in vain. They have amazing bbqThere is no other bbq vendor similar to Ghaffar.But if you compare the taste of the food they serve with their restaurant and the sitting environment you may reconsider your decision to dine in. It is noisy and over populated considering the place they have.Their restaurant needs a lot of renovations.

One of the best bbq spot in Karachi. Location isnt great, but the footfall is. If youre planning to visit on a weekend, be ready for quite some waiting. The Nihari and the BBQs are best on the menu. Average cost per head ranges from 600-1000, depending on how much you order. Eating place has recently been tidied up and much cleaner now, staff also wearing hair nets, which is a good move. The takeaway spot is a couple of steps away from the dine-in venue. Not enough parking space around. Always better to park in the streets behind.

3rd day of Eid i went and restaurant was fullFamilies were waiting outside but as luckily i was with another friend and we got a place easily to sit in big hall on ground floor. Ordered a chicken tikka and boneless malai boti with roghni naan. Food was ok. But roghni naan was so sweet. Chatni was good but raita wasnt.I wanted to try mutton but waiting to visit next time. If you are planing to visit old outlet, keep it in ur mind that there is no proper in this street .

BBQ galore. From Dhagga Kebab (Yes it is actually a kebab wrapped and held in place by a thread), Malai Boti, Nehari, Gola Kebab etc etc everything is made in a supereb manner. Food is amazing and something that will make u visit it again and again. In terms of sitting or Decor (or the lack of it) it hardly gets a star. It is a straight up ordinary restaurant made Great due to the great food and the economical prices. Not a family restaurant, however u can enjoy the food while sitting in ir car. A must visit Food Heaven and gem of Karachi.

One of the most loved place for eating Dhaga Kabab and other Kababs like Gola/Seekh etc in Karachi. Though dishes made over here are a bit oily, but that feature (being extremely oily) is counted as a major plus point and attraction by the location people of the area. I have discussed with many people of Karachi that why do you like such a huge quantity of oil in food, almost all of the respondents were of the view that the oil creates a great taste in dishes and we really like it.However, Abdul Ghaffar Kabab House is given a really really high value and score by the customers who like typical oily food and the customers who have developed a particular type of taste buds. Such people are exclusively found in Karachi. I had been living in Islamabad during my Masters Degree from there, and I know very clearly that the people of Northern Pakistan avoid the extremely high quantities of spices and oil in their food, while the people of Karachi like spicy food, thanks to their Indian /South Indian background.
