Yes they deliver quality with sufficient Quantity...In Karachi it is one of the rare place where I will find out real Chinese food...My wife loves it.. and I always prefer Ginsoy... I will not say it is economical... But for foodies money is the secondary part... So for real taste of Chinese food .. Ginsoy is highly appreciated and Recommended...Enjoy!!!!

Services are great they treat you like a customer as their business depends on you. Even if I had any complaint I would avoid it as these people work hard and I have never seen any order taker or waiter resting or sitting during working hours.Now the ambience. A good ambience complements food like a great soundtrack behind a good dramatic scene from a movie.Tables are set in a way that you feel, you are going to have a fine dining experience. Lighting is just right. Warm tungsten bulbs giving your eyes a soft touch and finally soft melodic soundtracks to keep your appetite on fire.Lets talk about the star of the show the food. It is not traditional Chinese but if a Chinese person comes and lives in Pakistan how this culture will affect his culinary skill, what type of spices they are going to use. In short, it is a fusion of 2 different cultures. And the name Gin Soy somehow represents the same.I ordered hot n sour (Red) not too thick neither runny. Spices were there to tickle your taste buds. But I will try something different next time.Dynamite prawns my first experience but it was a good one. Somehow expensive when the price is compared to the quantity.Lastly shashlik with rice. I liked it but I was already full at that time. Go for it.So in the end, if you want to have Chinese food with a spicy twist and want to spend quality time with family and money is not the problem. This is a place to visit.

They have a very cosy outdoor dining area which they have modified for covid safety measures dining experience. Their soups are the best in town, do visit for a warm soup on their outdoor patio during the winters. Ambience can be seen in the attached pics

This place is so awsome, that Ive been there three times in under a month. Each time we go, we always order the different dishes. Eat dish is seasoned with its own spices and herbs which come out smelling savory and appetizing, unlike other places that use the same seasoning for all dishes.The chicken chowmein are one of my favourites. chicken are very delectable and mouthwatering. All the flavor is kept in while grilling and goes well with a cold drink. One of my new favorites is the chinese soup.

Just because its nearby I would go again. The taste.... Didnt like any of it except for the free fish crackers that were served free of cost as appetizer. I had ordered crispy beef and mixed chowmein.

Ordered dhaka fish, (home delivery) the fish is hot like hell, cant even take the second bite. Then i remove the coating and try to have only fish but with no avail. This is used to be a good restaurant but dont know what happens either they chage their cheff or getting chilies for free

The slowest service restaurants one can ever find. This branch is small and usually low on Cooking Gas due to which the order is served late.The seats are dirty needs cleaning on urgent basis.Ever during the covid hand sanitizer is not served or advised people coming in. Hand sanitizer machine is placed at one corner for people to find and do as they wish.Although the staff is helpful but need refresher courses. Food was average not best as in other branch SMCHSThis branch need urgent look after by the concern.Completed dissatisfied.

Worst branch ever! We had a really bad experience! We ordered Hot and Sour soup last night and were quite surprised by the quality. It literally had no taste. When we called and complained, the operator told us to pack our previously ordered soup and return it to them instead of apologising and giving us a new order. After waiting for a hour or two the rider finally arrived. A very rude one at that. The soup that they gave us afterwards was even worse than before! No vegetables, no prawns! It was straight up just ketchup. I wouldnt recommend anybody to visit this branch. Who knows they feed their customers with the leftovers. The fact that they demand their terrible food back is concerning. Be aware while visiting they might serve you with sombody elses returned food.

Excellent, delicious Chinese dishes with great appetizers that leave you salivating at the mouth. Crackers dipped in peppermint sauce, spicy schezuan chicken mixed with vegetable fried rice and red hot n sour soup are just some of the items that will increase your appetite twofold.

This pic was taken at Ginsoy Jauhar branch 2 weeks ago with my husband & son. I was 35 weeks pregnant and was craving for a good Chinese food badly. We opt for ginsoy and alhumdullilah my cravings fulfilled. We ordered Chicken Chinese Rice with Hot and Sour Chicken Manchurian and Beef chilli dry with Garlic Rice. Everything was up to the mark and I loved it. Ambiance , Service and staff was perfect I would recommend all the residence of Jauhar Area to visit Ginsoy for the real and authentic Chinese food. We have ordered hot n sour soup as starter it is best twice they surve us crackers main course american choppsoey delicious mongolian rice served with garlic fried rice taste good where as whole red curry fish is really bad smells from it disaster. We have also ordered lemon mint. Overall maintain there taste but they have to lookin to there seafood item

As we ordered bowl of soup family size, it was served hot and sizzling but the quality we assumed was not up to the mark as we have already tried the Haidry Ginsoy as well as Gulshan Ginsoy they both were up to the mark as for SOUP only .. but here we got the soup too much watery ..

Well, I love their White Hot & Sour Soup with Crackers which is complimentary. Small place yet nice feel. Good food. I ordered twice in my stay of 2 weeks that too I wasnt well but for food I can bear the consequence of a bad stomach too... Khekhekhekhekhekhekhekhe....

Excellent food. We ordered Hot and Sour soup for starter. The main meals were Beef Chowmein and Ginsoy special chicken. The food was mildly spicy. To top it off we ordered mint lemonade. Ambient is good but restaurant size is small.

I really want to say that these franchise system in Pakistan have huge difference like Ginsoy Khayaban e Shahbaz is far better than Ginsoy Gulistan e Jauhar.

Poor hygiene,bad ambiance, staff is good in numbers but really lacks training. 3 to 4 staff members used to make one table, while leaving all other tables unattended. Also, staff needs to be trained to understand that when people visit ginsoy, they have certain expectations which are to be fulfilled by them. I might not visit this outlet again.

The food was amazing. Cant say the same about the experience though, after a long weight outside when we got to get seated at our table, it wasnt laid out well. Half of the napkins were missing and cutlery as well. The place is too small and quality of the furniture wasnt at par with other ginsoy outlets. it took forever for food to arrive and when we asked for the manager there was apparently none.

The waiting time is a bit more than preferable but the food makes up for it. Ive visited this particular branch a couple of times, usually with just one other person and weve always loved the experience. The taste is perfect and the waiters are always accomodating to the best of their capabilities.

Its been many days since me and my family went out for casual dinner due to busy schedule. I took half day leave from the office and a sudden plan was made to go to Ginsoy for dinner by the Honorable Home Minister aka begum. Apparently one cannot dare to refuse the offer after ignoring her requests for 15 long days. So we went there at 8 and ordered the chefs speciality without even looking at the menus. It was my first visit to Ginsoys Jauhar branch and boy oh boy, what professional and friendly staff. They took great care of my hyper active 2.5 years old son. He was welcomed with open arms to tour their kitchen while rest of the family members were enjoying their delicious dinners. Hats off!

Today got a chance to visit Jauhar Franchise. A long waiting though but it was worth waiting as the food was awesome. Very friendly and polite behavior if the staff was worth to mention. Service was excellent. And above all the bill was discounted because of Ginsoys 9th anniversary. I would surely recommend people to visit this franchise.

Highly recommended Chinese restaurant for family dinners. Great food with surplus quantities. We ordered Thai soup, Kung pao Chicken, chicken fried rice and shrimp chowmein and everything was perfect. The only issue was that the food was served a bit late but it was Saturday night as well.

Bad service and bad food. No waiter knew if we had sauces, pepper etc for the soup. No tissues either. We ordered chicken corn soup and it might be the least quality one we might have had ever: it had almost no chicken in it. The dynamite chicken was bad as well. Would never recommend this branch. Go to the Ginsoy in Sindhi Muslim society instead

If you decide to dine in at this restaurant make sure you ask for Riyaz Alam and Malik Ibrahim. Their service was outstanding and they made sure everything was great. The restaurant is very luck to have employees like them. Also the food was amazing. I would highly recommend this place and wish the best for them.
