Shahi Darbaar is the main building meant for the throne of the king. It is located just east to the Tilla Jogiyan Gate.Rohtas is one of the largest forts in Pakistan, a telltale sign of mighty kingdom of Muslims. It was built by Sher Shah Suri between 1541-1548. It is a UNESCO heritage site. The fort has 12 gates and almost 4 km long walls. It has one huge water-well with stairs to draw water. This serves one perfect site to visit with friends and family for one day picnic. History enthusiasts can learn a lot from their experience. The site despite being famous and cultural heritage, is being rudely ignored by the management and left in ruins. Government should pay attention to renovate the site and try to revive the tourism.
