Trimu head in jhang sadar
A respectable place where there is a grave of mai heer ... This place is very respectable especially for the people living there
As per the popular belief, Jhang is the namesake capital city of Jhang district in Punjab, Pakistan. The destination is located on the eastern bank of the famous Chenab river. This place is primarily famous for the burial place of legendary lovers, Heer and Ranjha. In fact, Mai Heer, as she is reverentially addressed by the devotees, was born and brought up in this village during the time of Lodhi dynasty. The tomb of Heer-Ranjha is an eye-catching dome, held sacred by people from far and wide. The limestone plaque of the tomb reads, “Darbar Ashiq-e-Sadiq Mai Heer wa Mian Ranjha”, meaning the court of lovers Mai Heer and Mian Ranjha, and goes on to praise the immortal lovers. Here, the two lovers are buried in a single grave to honour their undying, pure love. The story of unsanctioned loveThe legend of Heer and Ranjha is as interesting as it can be. Heer, originally named Izzat Bibi, was a brave daughter of Chuchak Sial and Malki from Jhang. Ranjha, who was born as Mian Umar, was the youngest sibling of his brothers in Takht Hazara, a nearby village. He left home after a tiff with his brothers over parental inheritance and wandered with his flute to seek fortune until he landed on the shores of Heer’s village. Bards have sung that Heer was captivated by Ranjha’s words when he said, “life is a dream, and pride of youth and beauty must be abandoned to get ready to leave the world.”The two fell in love, and to make sure her love stays close, Heer employed Ranjha in her cattle farm. They went about nurturing their relationship until Heer’s wicked uncle caught them. Consequently, Heer was forced to wed another man, and Ranjha left the place to resume his wanderings until he found solace in the shelter of a yogi (mystic saint). Heer, however, refused to accept another man for her husband. She broke off from the familial bonds and wrote to Ranjha to return to her. Abiding by his ladylove’s wishes, Ranjha returned to Jhang and eloped with Heer in tow.

Historical visit place... Calm and peaceful
HistoryHeer Ranjha was written by Waris Shah. Some historians say that the story was the original work of Shah, written after he had fallen in love with a girl named Bhag Bhari.[2] Others say that Heer and Ranjha were real personalities who lived under the Lodi dynasty and that Waris Shah later utilised these personalities for his story. Shah states that the story has a deeper meaning, referring to the unrelenting quest that man has towards God.One of the popular origin stories for the tale is that it was a story from the times of Emperor Akbar. About six centuries old now, it was first narrated in verse by one Damodar Arora during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Damodar was a native of Jhang where the story is broadly based and he had heard it from one Raja Ram Khatri who is supposed to be an eyewitness to all that happened. Since then it has been narrated variously and in various languages, both in verse and prose.

9th September 2018, intend to visit this place. I realized today that Punjab Nahi Jaongi Film maker made a lie to claim this shrine was false.
Heer, Ranjha meuselum (tomb) is located in Jhang city near Faisalabad road and Railway line. It is also close to Mai Heer ground and Nawaz Sharif stadium and new sport complex. Its access from Faisalabad-Jhang road is more easy with less distance.
