The ambience will lift up your mood. I was really glad to see that such places are now opening in Jammu as well. Not only the ambience but the food is also very tasty and of adequate prices. I ordered Veg platter and I LOVED it. Must try.

A good restaurant to pay visit to in jammu, if you are bored with the same buffets and with same atmosphere around all restaurants in jammu city then Its a good place to pay visit to.A different and more of soothing atmosphere inside the restaurant which makes you feel relax and when it comes to food, taste-wise i give it around 8/10,quantity 6/10(as compared to other restaurants in main city), price (overpriced/bit expensive like 2 small pieces of gulab jamun costs around rs.120 that you can get at around 10 in local shops ). You can easily taste the same food in half rate at a good restaurant in the city but if you want to try something different then I think you should try it once,You wont regret it and for photogenic people its a heaven to bless others insta feed with something different and to have such a different background and a good lighting with personalised atmosphere is kinda difficult to find.

Amazing place to hangout for small as well as large groups.Didnt expect jammu to have such a good fusion eating joint. Makes you remember the cafes of metros like Delhi.Price wise not very expensive (500 rs per head). However its fresh ambience , good music compensates its drawbacks,if any.Very courteous, prompt, patient and well behaved staff. And the MasterChef Ajay is icing on the cake. The way he offers customisation in the dishes as per your taste buds is really flattering.As far as dishes are concerned you can go for anything in the menu. I ordered chilli Korean wings, butter chicken taco, prawn tempura sizzler and dark chocolate waffle with Nutella topping ( my customisation), and 25 Paisa and lady ice cooler. Fully satisfied. Great fusion taste.Must visit place for that metro city cafe feel.

Most modern and visually appealing eatery in Jammu for sure. The interiors are chic and in line with the metro city standards.Good aspirational menu, quality cooking, attractive presentation but the a little bit effort is still required to be spot on in taste too.Nonetheless the head chef is very polite and open to suggestions. (I took 15 mins of his time, but he was gracious and receptive of the suggestions as well as criticisms, which I really respect).Serviceas good but like everywhere in Jammu, needs a lot of improvement. Saying that, thats the second best service Jammu has to offer till date. First being Thali unlimited in Trikuta Nagar. But being second best in service is not bad!I have great expectations from Scootervala.

Nice cafe with nicely maintained the decorum of the cafe, but morely shakes and snacks are available only with limited menu.

Each item has its own unique flour and taste. The its not a confusion of flavours and taste. You can also choose Indian or continental or fast food. A small menu catering to all taste. Clean place where you can go and hang around and for a long time. One can play board games and just have a quiet me time to there.

Cafe is a bit small but do not understimate it! The food and drinks here are lip smacking! The standard that I expected once you hear MasterChef were met! Do try Peri Peri chicken and green apple iced tea.They were my favorites!

My experience is like Naam bade aur darshan chhotey. Awful staff with average preparation average interiors and below average customer service. I landed scootervala for first time on Tuesday evening at around 10:00pm for dinner and I saw a placard on my table with bold letters 5 course meal and I thought this might be specialty or among the best servings of scootervala and I called waiter and asked him about the same and he is unable to explain me about that. Anyhow I ordered the same and started waiting for the same after repeated requests they served me the royal dish after half an hour . I was shocked to see they placed a thali infront of with one katori dal makhni and one katori spinach walnut kofta firni vada pav a butter naan and extra small katori rice which is not even to satisfy hunger of ma 2 year old son. After 10 mins I asked waiter about masala drink as written on their placard after my request he gave me masala drink and that was the best thing in their royal 5 course meal. After few minutes I realised I wasted my hard earned money .But I think I must applaud is Vada pav that is the best part of our meal. Dear scootervala your restaurant is still young and you need to grow alot thats why stop befooling people give people value for their money.

Great food. Nice ambience. Very good interiors. However, the tables could be better. And the music was too loud which is a bit annoying. Barring the couple of drawbacks, its a great place to be at. And as I said earlier, the food is great!

The overall vibe of the place is very good. It is very well kept and decorated from each point.Coming to the food, I found the presentation to be very impressive. Just what I expected from a MasterChef! Coming to the taste, The food doesnt blow your mind with its flavor but it isnt any normal cafe food either. The taste will be fitting for most people.But while it has a lot of flamboyance to adore, there are a few shortcomings that you need to know:1. The sitting area: As soon as I entered it and was seated, the sitting area didnt give me the best of impressions. In fact, Id say it was pretty average for such a place.2. The value for money: Like I said earlier, the food is good. Good enough for most. Not great or amazing because its not just taste and aesthetics that go into reviewing the food item, money is a big part as well and the value for the prices for the menu items is average at best.

I went with 3 friends for lunch this afternoon. I must say this place is a gem for our city. Amazing food. Amazing ambience and the staff was really humble and informed. A place like this was long awaited. Highly recommend. Good luck guys.

They serve good food but some of the items on the menu just didnt make sense to me. Like theres one item called three musketeers its basically just chicken popcorn served in waffle cones drizzled with mayo on top. Looked good though. Some people might be into it, im not one of them.Just giving a description for the menu items, would be step up.

Hands down a great and unique cafe in J-town . It’s the only cafe of it’s own type in the town. Not only they’ve a unique concept and have played well with the ambience their unique variety of food is also commendable. It’s my go to whenever I think of chilling and having a great time with my buddy’s! I’ve a list of my favourite items over there I’ll mention few; butter chicken pizza (must have), Mocktails, kebabs , chicken wings etc etc. Much love for one of my favourite in town ️.

I understand food taste is good because food is 4 to 5 days older . Because its brand no one is question about the brand . As discussed with stàff. Kii paneer khatta hai. Sir parso kaa hi hai.Staff nay example Diya jaisa halwai dhoda mithai banata hai uska taste ata hai.

Have been here a couple of times. Good ambience. A small cozy place but really welcoming. The food being served here is casual eclectic.Huge fan of their mushken burger and chicken surprise sizzler. Loved the khatta meat ribs too. Don’t miss out the place, it is not too much heavy on the pockets. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

My wife went here thrice and was thrilled. However, on her insistence, when I went for lunch last Monday, it was quite disappointing. This place has good food only if Masterchef Ajay is in the house. He will meet you, help choose your dish and describe the dishes in detail. Unfortunately, when I went he wasnt there. The waiters had absolutely no clue as to what the dishes are. Twice I had to call a chef from the kitchen to explain the menu to me. Even for the mocktails, the bartender was summoned to tell me what flavor the drinks consisted of !I ordered a chicken sizzler, my kids too ordered two separate non veg dishes and my wife ordered a veg dish of broccoli with less chilly and spice. The sizzler had almost a fourth of the portion burnt, my wifes dish had extra sprinkling of red chilly despite asking otherwise. This was her fourth visit here and it was very disappointing. The other chefs here are either still in the nascent stage or are complete novices. The only saving grace was the dessert.I endorsed the above in my feedback to the restaurant before leaving and later got a call from the masterchef . I told him he should have the menu card describing the dishes and the waiters too need training in explaining the dishes and helping the customers. The price of the dishes are equivalent to fine dining restaurants, but the quality and finesse are the pits.This place has the capacity to become a landmark eating joint for Jammu only if the finer details are worked out. The complete staff needs refining and polishing. Else, itll be just one more outlet like the hundreds already opened here.

Good place but worst food I have ever tasted. I am a traveller and love to eat different types of foods. I must say this was the worst food experience of the year. Very very disappointed.

To begin with, the place is a nice little cozy cafe which is a new thing for the city. But places like this just cant survive on the looks which clearly is the main goal of the people involved with this business. Our starters , peri peri chicken and garlic bread with cheese were average ( even though the chicken crust was way too crispy). Ignoring that we looked for some sizzlers and decided to go for two chicken surprise Sizzlers which were labelled as chef’s recommendation. Before I review the sizzler I just want to mention that we had to wait for almost 50 minutes to get our sizzler which would have been worth it if the sizzler was a decent eatable sizzler. Chicken surprise Sizzler did actually come as a surprise because for the first time in my life I actually saw a pool of liquid at the base of a sizzler which made the mashed potatoes, veggies and chicken soggy (picture) and I am not even complaining about the extra salt!. On mentioning the liquid in my sizzler to the waiter, I was told that thats how Sizzlers are supposed to be and that it was the juice flowing out of the lettuce. ( I HAVE BEEN EATING WRONG SIZZLERS ALL MY LIFE!!). The whole sight of the sizzler killed my appetite. I did try to at least eat the chicken because they charged a lot for the same. And the irony was that we ordered two same Sizzlers and the other one didnt have any juices flowing out of the lettuce even though it was really really average considering the price and the fact that it was a chefs recommendation.Overall it was a really disappointing experience as I went there for the food and not for the presentation. I would really like to wish the people involved good luck for the future because its a good thing that places like these have finally started in Jammu but just opening a fancy place is not enough.
