Being at a central location, it is easily accessible. Since there was an issue with restricted airspace back in March, I made reservations for a trip to Karachi by rail. I was in and out of the reservations office in under 5 minutes ! I also recommend the Green Line for rail travel to Karachi. It has about 5 brief stopovers along the way and you dont really need to leave the train for snacks, beverages or food. All 3 meals of the day are cooked fresh and they do not re-serve leftovers. The food is decent and not very pricey. If youre travelling with your own food then the kitchen car at the rear end of the train has a microwave where you can re-heat your food. The entire train has 11 boxcars so you wont need to walk too far to the kitchen car. There is no dining car. Each compartment has 6 berths, a small LED, pillows and blankets (charged separately) and dual power outlets; although, I would advise that you carry a multi-board that could accommodate more than one appliance/cell phone charger/laptop charger at a time !

Best for those whose are instred there...

You have to focus on shops to finding this reservation office, but good to have this small office if you want to buy railway ticket, convenient as compared to go Rawalpindi or Margalla Station.

Should go to station instead of going here.... however good opportunity for those who want to do their work done easily and can pay a little commission and those who dont have much time....

A small compact Pakistan railway ticketing and reservation office which is located in colorful mobile market, very tricky to find it in first look. Anyway its a good facility for the people of Islamabad and suburbs intends to travel by train to personally come and book their seats rather to go all the way to Rawalpindi for tickets.

The people here made a big effort finding and booking a train for us. None of the staff spoke fluent English. This was no problem as they were so helpful.

Located in the main G9 market. Easy to visit here. Always book Greenline seats from here. Friendly and co-operative staff. Although its a small office but never had to wait here.
