Kashmir highway metro bus station is one of the biggest metro bus station among all the stations of Rawalpindi - Islamabad metro bus service. There are multiple bridges and underpass in this station. There are two entrance as well as two exits. The famous itwar bazar is close to this station. This station is always bustling with people especially on Sunday. Sunday this station becomes crowded and full of people who use to visit itwar bazar. Other than this, Islamabad most popular nursery area is few minutes from this station. There are beautiful pictures of famous buildings and mosque being displayed on the walls of underpass of this station like Shahi mosque chitral etc.

Probably the busiest and largest platform after Saddar. Very busy, in fact overcrowded on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays due to weekly Bazar near the station. Need serious repairs, tiles are broken or missing, drainage system need serious attention.

Probably, the longest station of metro in twin cities.

The station is the largest in the Islamabad pindi metro bus network, and probably the most busy one too. It links to itwaar bazar (weekly market) its not very well maintained through. The marble tiles are broken and damaged at places, but still isnt that bad.

Located on the intersection of Kashmir Highway & 9th Avenue (also called Agha Shahi Avenue). If I call both these roads blood arteries of Islamabad, that would be true in a manner that both these are connecting sectors of Islamabad with eachother.Kashmir highway is in east-west direction while Agha Shahi Avenue (9th Avenue) is in north-south direction.After construction of interchange over Kashmir Highway, a big problem has been solved.To cross this biggest interchange on foot, there is a longest tunnel constructed by and for metro bus service, it has 4 exit points on 4 sides of this interchange.Interchange & tunnel are constructed with state of art infrastructure and both these looks very beautiful. Infact aerial view is become an icon of Islamabad.

This metro station is situated underground in middle of crossing of Kashmir Highway and 9th avenue near Itwar Bazaar in Islamabad. This station made easy the shopping in Itwar bazaar.
