Itwar bazar is a good place to get fresh and cheap vegetables and fruits. You can find almost everything there, secondhand clothes, kithen utensils, hardware tools, grocery items. Only problem is parking area, which is small. Best time to go is before 10:00am.

Its a well managed, organized & cheap market where you can get everything like fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish, crockery, cloths, shoes, groceries, stationary items, decoration items, sports gear, bags, travel accessories, electronic equipment for household usage etc. There are many food stalls for fulfillment of ones appetite if they feel hungry/thirsty while shopping here. The prices are very competitive and you can find items of good quality. I do most of my routine shopping from here, including every week visits for fruits and vegetables. Overall, it is very good market and everyone from poor to rich can get something of their liking here.

Excellent shopping experience. The best part is the antiques and used household stuff. You need a lot of time if you intend to find something valuable so make sure you hit the place early morning. There are two portions, the one on the left which has a meat market has two antique shops which house precious stuff. In the left portion there are a lot of used stuff shops where you can find really good and useful stuff. You need to be clear what you want to purchase then youll find it easily. Otherwise there is so much stuff that you get distracted and often buy things you didnt intend buying.Experience of buying shoes was not a good one so better avoid shoes.

Its a huge public bazaar(market) open on three week days (Sunday, Tuesday & Friday). Everything of everytype for everybody is present there. garments, clothes(unstitched & ready-made), books & stationary, crockery, electronics, curtains, carpets, groceries, used clothes & gadgets, shoes, meat & dairy, pets etc. It also has fruit & vegetables sections where fresh fruits & vegetables at low price than market are available. Foreigners, rich & poor everybody is seen shopping there.It has vast parking and many gates to enter. Man providing cart services are also found there. Bazaar is divided into sections. Refreshment points are also present in it, there food quality is average.There are difficulties finding drinking water and washrooms there.There is also a small masjid in bazaar.This is the best shopping place I think...

Itwar bazar H9 (sunday market) which effectively is open on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday, is an interesting place and an experience. Though in generic terms its a simple market from where you can buy the groceries, vegetables and fruits. The thing which makes it more interesting is the fact that it has many attractions i.e. 1) fresh vegetables and fruits, 2) prices are cheaper than other markets, 3) it has one section of used clothes, 4) it has another section of used toys, equipment, gadgets. You can get some very useful items at very very cheap price simply because they are used items. Worth a visit, if nothing works, you can at least buy fresh vegetables and fruits. I love to do shopping from there.. Yes it is crowded but worth it... Good thing good quality in low price and also you can bargaining.. And the price will be more low. There are also small stalls of odds and ends like crockery, household goods etc.

Going to Itwar or Sunday Bazar is getting difficult with every passing day. The parking is mostly full and administration has moved the parking on open land opposite TF complex which is besides Itwar Bazar and is accessible via a bridge. Nearly everything is available in the Bazar but one have to be very patient and walk a lot to get your desired stuff whether it is vegetables, fruits, clothes, curtains or carpets. Bargaining is an important part of shopping in Itwar Bazar.

Tuesday n Friday is better day for shopping dont go on Sunday..too much problem for parking n inside also full.

The closing time is about 6pm but I would recommend you to go in between 7pm to 8pm for vegetables in a v.reasonable rates. They still selling till 10pm night. Remember, All cloth stalls will start closing first, and vegetables and fruits stalls are the last ones to close.

That segment is my favorite amd everyones favorite.There are many food stalls who have the best food at cheap prices but youll have to wait a little bit to place and have your order. There are many walking Stalls favorite one is kabuli pulao .I love that one, you can have a full plate of kabuli pulao, well cooked mutton on it salad and raita .Its kinda food review too.One can buy a complete house hold items from here. From kitchen accessories, curtains, carpets, decors, stationery, garments and all kind of eatables are available at very good cost. May be the cheapest place of the capital.They shouldnt drop quality and increase prices to stay in the game otherwise it will stop attracting people. ️

Good place to get your fresh produce. The rates are controlled, although a few shopkeepers might try to pass on some inferior products, so be vigilant. Usually shopkeepers are friendly (few exceptions aside) and will offer you a free sample (usually fruit vendors).You can hire a Potter to carry the items for you at around 100 rupees (they have wheel barrows and trolleys). Since the ban of plastic bags you should carry your own grocery bags. Recommended time is to go in the morning.Carry 100-1000 notes, usually shop keepers wont have change for 5000 notes unless youre buying fish.Fish market is separate exit from Western gate and cross the street to get to it. The fish are fresh and high quality with near to whole sale rates. Here you can also get eggs and poultry.In the western section there is a market for low price and second hand clothes as well, along with a few shops of spice merchants (although you should visit raja Bazar and adjoining area of Rawalpindi to get the authentic experience of old spice market)

Itwar bazaar is a public market where everyone has something to buy. From used items to new products, this place is a mega market. My favourite lane is adventure and camping equipment. The only bad area is entry/exit and parking. Its so disheartening to find that biggest public place in the twin cities does not have proper parking area. CDA must be held responsible for this insensitivity.

It is also opened on Tuesday and Friday (3 days a week), from 9:00am to 8:00pm. Full of people buying all the time. The problem is its accessibility and unmanageable parking. Only lukiers get parking near to its gates. You should have at least 2-3 hours if you intend to visit.

You can find superior quality fruits and vegetables here. The place where they sell chicken is disgusting. You cannot even stand there for a few seconds.
