One of oldest markets of Islamabad. Sector I-9 was established in 1970. As the place was near to Industrial area so this market happened to be only market approached by then residents of I-9/1 and workers of industrial area. To facilitate the residents, Urban Transport service route -17 was provided and buses from Raja Bazar to Bari Imam commuted regularly.

This is a market near my home. Very friendly and good place for house hold daily shopping.

Meat, chicken and all items of hardware are available here. Residents of I-9 should not go to pindora (said pur road Rawalpindi) to buy hardware items. Instead they should visit Aziz market I-9/1 for buying hardware items at reasonable prices.
