If you wanna go court . go early

Building is beautiful and historic but unfortunately we are still not able to integrate latest technologies into our office which can certainly help to improve performance and track records of files and staff performance. They have some computers available on their desk but there is not much for litigants who visits every day.

High handed, arrogant, non-cooperative people; over crowded place, no arrangement for litigants/petitioners guidance and waiting.

However, such a Noble and Prestigious institution indeed. In this regard, I would sincerely like to quote an example in respect of my beloved father (Dr. Roshan Ali Siyal) a Retired JEA (BPS 20) Grade Federal Government Officer, who has been selected merit-based for the post of Deputy Permanent Delegate of Pakistan to UNESCO at Paris (France) way-back in 1993. Meanwhile, the appointment of my father was being set-aside by the then so-called PML (N) government and instead such a Blue-Eyed Officer was being desperately placed to procced to UNESCO. However, upon kind intervention of Lahore High Court (Rawalpindi Bench) while, fortunately my father succeeds in order to get his posting at UNESCO Paris from September onwards to June 1998, respectively.

A calm place in the hustle and bustle of city.Located at opposite to Sawan Adda. An elevated road leads you to the place. A cafeteria is also present there. You have to go through the security barrier and prove your identity.

It is a Bench of Lahore High Court for Rawalpindi Division and has jurisdiction from Attock till Jehlum including Chakwal. There is not much parking space so if you have got any case in the High Court its best to reach early to find car parking. For those who are not lawyers security clearance will require additional time so to reach court room in time always leave a margin of 30 mins.

Great to know about bench of high court in Rawalpindi. I hope competent judges are appointed here to deliver the justice.

Judges work is meritorious, but work load is much more than the number of judges, the space available for people is reducing day by day. The problem which is of great importance for elder people is that the parking lot of High court is at a very low level and people have to walk a long distance and climb steep stairs to reach the High court.
