Cost effective but Pakistan post needs to update staffs training programme.

This is a post office with day and night shift which essentially means that they remain open till 9 am as per their own displayed timings. But basically the mail is only received till 8pm. The last one hour is for office work only. This is not very professional, only public dealing timings should be displayed! And I suspect they are public dealing timings but the staff have put this restriction by themselves. Notice must be taken about this.You will get your stuff done here BUT the service quality needs a lot of improvement. Basically like a typical govt institution, the dealing is usually quite rude and substandard. You won’t get much guidance unless you assert. Similarly envelopes, boxes etc are scarcely found on complimentary basis like at private courier services. There is a helpful private vendor for this purpose, who also offers packing services. Though I guess this is also not an official arrangement.The mail handling inside is all still manual. No barcoding etc. at all. This is quite amazing. Computerisation is a must to bring order to this chaos.The only attraction is of course the rates offered by them, which are much more competitive compared to any private courier. This obviously should be a business opportunity but of course they make you pay in other ways (bad service ie) and so their share is diminishing day by day.

Once upon a time I posted a greeting card to Egypt which never reached there. It was 2017. Lately I heard Pakistan post improved a lot so this Eid I send a gift of expensive cloths to karachi on 29 July and after one week past there is no news of my parcel. Complaint on their website portal in vain yet.

It ia located in karachi company near the play ground. The services are not so satisfactory.they should improve their services.

Great cheap service, if we use pakistan post more often, they will better their services. Please send posts with pakiatan post, it costs alot less than tcs and dhl.

Cheap service, but poor facility for accessories i.e. stapler, gums tick etc. Also no service for Postal Order.

Very rude behavior by staff, even if you ask them i need envelope they will not listen to you and ignore you so as always other govt departments they will not treat you as human , Pakistan Post should make sure self respect for customer , this is not right way. And Staff should correct their attitude

Beware of post Master, either he is corrupt or he can not count. He gave me less tickets, and then I had to pay again.

A branch of Pakistan Post Office in G-9 providing courier service all over the country. The service is good and staff needs to work on their attitude. Shortage of staff makes people wait in long queue in rush hours. Needs to upgraded likewise.

Best postal service of Pakistan,Covers almost whole country.The dilema is the old management killed the reputation with negligence and worst management.Now the new management is trying hard to have a good reputation.Now the services are good and at much cheaper rates compared to other courier services.

Today visit there around 4:00pm clock so I really embarrassed about services of Post office G-9 Markaz Islamabad.Pathetic service.

Totally non-professional staff. Govt need have a look at them, There should be mystery visits by Govt.

Before the staff was not cooperative and professional. Now many improvements have been made. Operations have now become efficient.

This one is good branch if the post office and very useful for the nearby people. UMS (urgent mail service) and registered dak service are good for the domestic purpose and very cheap as compared to tcs that charge too much. UMS which is overnight service is only cost about 60 rupees. So try to use this……money order is still good for far areas of the country where no easy paisa or like services available. However dont expect a good behaved-eell trained staff and just get your work done.

Not Cooperative Staff , Misguide , Not Professional , Not Series , I never again to comes this branch , GPO Rawalpindi is Cooperative and professional staff. Need Improvement staff with moral training.

Staff is extremely non cooperative. Not recommended. TCS is much better.

Now the services of Post offices has improved. Utility bill services is good addition

3rd class services, i purchased an article on line from china on 22-5-2016. .Article reached at Karachi on 26-05-2016, known through tracking system of post office but after a lap of 15 days ,article has not received yet in spite several times complaints
