Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Urdu: پاکستان طبی سائنس انسٹی ٹیوٹ‬‎, abbreviated as PIMS) is a research oriented health sciences institute located in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is one of the regions leading tertiary level hospitals which includes 22 medical and surgical specialist centers. It provides medical training through the Quaid-e-Azam Postgraduate Medical College which was established on 1 February 1989.[1]Established in 1985 the institute includes three semi-autonomous hospitals including the Islamabad Hospital (IH) which is a 592-bed hospital spread over 3.5 hectares, the 230 Bedded Childrens Hospital spread over 1.6 hectares specializing in pediatric care and the 125 bedded Maternal & Child Health Care Centrel which specializes in obstetrics and gynaecology.[2][3]

I found this place very comfortable.Doctors are very cooperative as well trained. Everybody must try to consult with Doctors in PIMS.

State of the art burn center in pims.Government should construct more burn centers like this so that people can get good care incase of emergency and the burden of this burn center can be decreased.Currently they entertain very small number of serious case as there are no other burn center like this one because of which the flow of patients is hard to manage and only the few with serious burns are considered.

Its nice but some more need cleaning

I visited gyane department last week the cleanliness is very poor washrooms are very dirty in labour room and in general ward also most of the things in and medicines in Lima rooms are not provided although the nursery doctors and nursery is very excellent but overall cleanliness in labour and general what is so so so poor

Al things rate is very high but quality is very poor and staff is very proud and rude

The emergency, treatment, facilities all top of the class. My close friend had to be admitted here and everything was done in a very timely and systematic manner. Highly recommend it in the case of emergency.

Its a canteen. What do you expect?!?!?! Although the tea is nice, you have to let it sit for the taste to come out of the teabag but still its good tea. The rest of the stuff is standard canteen stuff. Packed goods like chips, juices, soft and all. They also have TAWA BURGER good and clean and also fried rolls and fried sandwiches.

They done good works with guranty.

It is much helpful for the people who visit pims but there is another hotel for taking meal which is at the back side of children emergency.

Majority of the parents coming to PIMS are very poor, The PIMS administration tries hard to provide these poor people quality food at affordable prices. Their efforts should be appreciated

Good hospital

This is the capitals big reliable hospital. Located in the heart of the city, has huge area and almost every necessary emergency centers. Free medical care and 24/ 7 services with state of the art facilities available. I recommend this place for medical check ups.

General items are available but the canteen area needs to be more clean.

Its good and I would like to appreciate PTI government because two years back when I visited the rates were not controlled but now the rates at canteen are fully controlled. You can buy anything at market rate.

This is the place where you would get mineral water bottles and soft drinks at market price, no additional charges are being taken. The fast food is not of good quality. Its kept on the front where it is usually contaminated with dust. They prepare burgers but the hygienic conditions are extremely poor. No proper place to wash hands for the staff, even no washroom for the staff. They charge 25 rupees for a cup of tea which is substandard. It is being served in cups which are used for water so really hard to keep those in hand in summer and stuffed with so much sugar that no one can differentiate between tea and soft drink. . this area needs alot of improvement.

Great Hospitality in the children Hospital section, I visit PIMS frequently due to illness of my little angel (my daughter) and I found that the staff is doing their best to provide better services within the limited available sources.

There is a lot in canteen from bakery items to fried but cleanliness / hygiene in food making may plz be ensured as this canteen is in a Hospital.

So there was a mishap at this place. A sudden burst of a cylinder gas leaked out and people started to run. Although no accident happened but the PIMS has to take actions for the safety to prevent any fatality.
