Nobody picks up on their phone number listed on google. Better to go visit them in person and obtain the number of the relevant department. Aside from that they handled all my complaints and refund in a professional and timely manner.My parcel was returned before it could exit Pakistan and reach its destination overseas. They returned it and told me I could claim a partial refund. Process of the refund is not written on their website so here it is.Submit the following to complaints section/admin branch:A) The original receipt given to the customer while bookingB) The envelope/parcel box/cover that has the stamps, address, reason for refusal and the forms attached on itC) An application that states the full info on why you are claiming the refund.D) Copy of CNIC or proof of identification

General post office. Best postal services here. Saving bank, western union, Postal boxes, express post, same day delivery, cash on delivery, pension payments, postal life insurance, regd mail/parcel, elect money order, federal taxes, postage stamps, fax money order, utility bills and provincial taxes.

General Post office Islamabad is providing wide range of services to its valuable customers. Which includes Electronic, Fax and ordinary money orders, UMS, Same day delivery, Cash on delivery, registered mail, bulk users agreement of mail, Western Union, E remittances, Saving Bank, Motor vehicle tax, utility bills, Pension payment and much more

Now GPOs are better and airy. Very friendly environment though very crowded.

They dont attend the number shared on net, delivery is pending from last 2 days.. Maybe there is some traitor who is likely defaming our national institution so that v get dissapointed and choose private carrier service

Now a days general post office is very busy and functional all time. Very keen and professional staff good service. I never disappointed from any staff or any other person in this office. Enough space for parking too. There is no wheelchair accessibility in this office however parking of wheelchair is available. Fares are also very reasonable, I suggest all of you that use only post office for your corrier instead of other private companies.

I have very good experience at General Post Office (GPO) at Melody Market in Islamabad. The building of GPO is very state of the art, also the GPO has urgent mail service as well other normal mail services. Similarly; the prices of sending mails are very cheaper as compare to private post services. Likewise; the staff of GPO is also polite and cooperative. It responds to queries and address them efficiently.

Typical Government Organization. I have my vehicles registration at this office. No doubt much cheaper but being non-resident of Islamabad I faced problem of cooperation from this office and being asked to visit very next day instead of being served.Accessible and much prominent place.

I went there for Urgent Mail Service around 2:30 pm Tuesday 7 August to post a letter. For Lahore, they charged 65 rupees which is very reasonable compared to TCS who charge 280 and both deliver next day. Service was helpful. I noticed long queues for vehicle token payment, so if you are coming for that purpose, plan your day accordingly.

Phelatlic Bureau of Islamabad GPO is responsible for providing Phelatlic Items and commemorative postage stamps to general public. This department is performing its responsibilities in a professional manner with great dedication and to the complete satisfaction of its customers. The staff is very helpful and cooperative and provides the requisite items in a very professional manner.

Typical gov office... They dont care if you are in a hurry or what.... but way cheaper and economical then pvt courier companies and good service as well

Reasonably good staff. National, international courier, parcels, money order, electronic money order, postal insurance, postal orders etc are available. The GPO stays open till 9 pm on Monday-Saturday. Sunday is off.

Thats why the rates of mail delivery and other facilities are very low as compare to other private courier companies. In addition to mail delivery many other functions like money transfer, motor registration etc is being done here.

Full of hustle and bustle and this place is very useful in all aspects. If you want to pay your bills and importantly Western union is also here.

Offer good postal service. Also provides service for utility bill payment, Renewal of old driving license and payment for registration for vehicles.

A better option instead of private courier services. If you are in blue area or any other near place of G6 and needs to send mail come here and send mail in a cheaper price
