Its a great venue for National Level events, right at the intersection of Islamabad and Rawalpindi

The joint military parade had been a regular event with display of military power and show of Pakistan’s folk culture, which captured the imagination of the public quite like the traditional parade, with its impressive march-pasts and aerial shows.This year’s event will take place at the new Parade Ground, specially built near scenic Shakarparian. In the past, the parade was held on Parade Avenue in front of Parliament House and before that, at the Race Course in Rawalpindi.

A very peaceful place, no rush

A very renowned and reputed place and quite famous for being the venue of National events organized here. Mega events like Pakistan Day Parade of 23rd March is always commemorated here. Other national events are also being organized here. A huge and spacious area with full of green look around. The nearest landmark is Lokvirsa which is quite famous in Islamabad.
