I attended GB Cultural Show with my kids. Its a cool place. Access to Press Club is a bit complicated.

Visited this for a book launch and gathering of progressive writers of Pakistan.Had a very meaningful discussion of overall position of the political left of Pakistan. Met some really cool people. Place was ok. I would really love to go again

Islamabad Press Club is located on prime location of F-6 sector, approximately in the middle of Blue Area and Super Market, which is basically F-6 Markaz.Currently Islamabad Press Club is very much maintained. Its easy to approach the entire print media and TV channels. It has big press conference hall, which is only available on booking in advance. This conference hall has sound system installed. Sitting arrangement is quite reasonable. 80 to 100 people may attend the press conference comfortably.There is also cafeteria for the journalist. There are also management rooms. Its has union office as well, which is elected directly by the election. All journalists poll their votes for the election of office barer of the union.Islamabad Press Club has its own car parking area which has space for 40 t0 50 cars. There is Guard on the main gate.

Very good place for journalists specially working journos and reporters. Well seated out door and indoor cafe, serves good tea and snacks. Also it has ample place for holding events and press talks. Access wise, its located in Center of the city and public transport is conveniently accessible

Prime location entertaining the journalist community out of the prominently temporary structures. Indoor / outdoor sports facilities. Cafeteria. Lush green Sit out areas. Not open for general public though.

If you want some next level drama that you should go there and join any press conference by any political or religious party. You wont regret it.

Went with my cousin for a lunch here, definitely a very dedicated effort by journalists for journalists. Clean and healthy food was available and it was the main source of every type of news no doubt. It can be improved by putting more meetings areas and halls.

When i was there some protesters were protesting for there missing beloved persons.It was so painful for me because i can imagine that if someones father, brother, husband suddenly disappeared from their lives and this disappearance is the only result of some misunderstanding between two parties it is so painful.
