Pakistan Red Crescent Society is an organization that provides emergency medical and relief services for Pakistanis. The society was founded in 1947 after Pakistans independence by an order called The Pakistan Red Cross Order, led by Nurse Saloni Malik. It was later renamed the Red Crescent Society or the Red Crescent Order. Its headquarters are in Islamabad.Pakistan Red Crescent is the largest humanitarian organization in Pakistan and was formed by act of Parliament in 1947. It is working with a Mission to become leading humanitarian organization of Pakistan, committed to prevent and alleviate human sufferings by mobilizing the power of humanity through volunteers. Pakistan Red Crescent is highly regarded in Pakistan by its respective stakeholders and the public and has over the years been well known for saving lives and strengthening recovery in disasters, contributing towards healthy living, and promoting social cohesion in vulnerable communities. PRC has emerged as the leading humanitarian organization in the country by providing immediate response in national disasters supported by its vast network of staff and volunteers. PRC has undergone significant developments through the support of its Movement Partners over the years, expanding the capacity of the organization to develop its core activities and respond to disasters.

I have been there today for tender submission situated near Allama Iqbal Open University(AIOU) H-8/2, Islamabad. They have different rooms for the services i.e. Norwegian Red Crescent, German Red Crescent etc. Its a good organisation helping the poor and the needy ones. You have to submit your Identity Card and they will issue you a Visitor card to Enter the Org.

Pakistan Red Cresent is an International NGO. Its really amazing to serve humanity without expecting any outcome or benefits. Join this organization and serve humanity voluntarily.

You can get blood in emergency depends on availability but remember few important things to do:Call them and check blood availability.Bring blood request form from hospital where your patient is admitted.1000 rupees per bag as a screening charges.Water cooler for safe transportation of blood bags.

You can face a little trouble while you first time come to the Pakistan Red Crescent Society due to Kashmir Highway Metro Stop. But yeah, its a cool place. The auditorium and the meeting rooms were well-furnished. The security check is bit high.

Pakistan Red Crescent is working in Pakistan since 1947. The provincial branches are 7 and the district branches are 92 in Pakistan.Red Crescent is the branch of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) that operates in Muslim countries. ICRC assists with the basics of life like Water, Food and Shelter. Work with communities to repair the essential infrastructure like roads and water systems. Support people through small businesses and loans. Send war surgeons, nurses and doctors to where they’re most needed. Also care for the cases of sexual violence and work to prevent such crimes. In short ICRC work throughout the world to help the most vulnerable people who are overlooked. ICRC is a neutral organization who works and treat everyone neutral and it works on the laws of war according to The Geneva Convention 1949.

Very well maintained National Headquarters of Pakistan Red Crescent. Very huge office. Plenty of staff. They also arrange trainings for volunteers which are not only informative but fun to attend. I would love to see them contributing more towards climate change because that is affecting our country very badly.

Fine with the service they provide, but not satisfied with the lengthy procedure like one has to get stamped, signed performa from hospital and if it is for any government one like poly clinic than extra formality. Just wondering that if patient is immediate need of blood than how come such formalties could take his/her life... Request to authorities of red crescent that reduce the formal procedure

Extremely well maintained establishment. Ive only seen a couple of places kept cleaner.I had to go there for my blood test for driving license. Costed me 200/- and took 15 minutes to get in and out of the building!

Nice place for blood testing but if you are motivated to donate blood then not only you can have blood Group Report free of cost but also they will execute all your screening tests free of cost... Must consider this.....

Got my blood group tested from here which was required for getting driving Lerner permit from NHMP (National Highway and Motorway Police) Driver Licensing Authority, my experience here was quite smooth and hassle free.Environment was neat and higenic and the whole process was well organized.They charged me Rs200 for a Blood Group Report.
