They have changed the forms into simple format. but counter was painfully slow and only one counter was functional.... for professional doctors they should have proper sitting or waiting place but i have noticed every one was standing in the corridors. worst implementation of Covid19 SOPS in a department which is the main regulator of doctors all over the pakistan.... RIP social distancing

An extraordinary service. Very efficient staff with a systematic and speedy procedure. I was a bit apprehensive to go to the PMC and expected to face lots of issues and time waste but it was an extremely pleasant surprise to see professional dealing and proactive staff. The entire procedure for the renewal of BDS license took hardly ten minutes. We must appreciate good work in our country and try introduce similar culture in all public sector departments and offices

A place where you finally get enrolled for a doctor.Thiugh the former body was better but still this one is helping people across the country to get registered as a qualified professional doctor.

Building is good but chaos in term of managing people specifically in COVID-19

I went to PMDC recently, here are some following observations.1.Go around 8Am, office will open at 9am2. Do not forget to take token from security guard if you are here to submit documents, if you are here only for status update then no token will be issued.3. Security guard will ask you a question why you are here and then issue or not issue you token, a registry needs to be done on security guard register.4. at 9am office will open and those who are here to submit documents will be allowed to enter according to token number after that status guys will be allowed.5. no matter how many people in line, once you enter all people will be divided into different sections and counters so do not worry if there are alot of people.6. there is a canteen at the backside where you can have breakfast in case you arrive early.7. Registration dept. is on second floor, every province has different desk. mostly its a file system so work may take some time.8. its a typical government office so good and bad people both are there, but i had my wife and new born with me so everyone gave us priority and we got free very soon.Overall experience was Good.

So much rush. Youve to get a token, then wait your turn. Once youre in, you can submit application and fee. Id recommend to make a draft before hand as theres always rush on the fee counter.The stuff is somewhat mixed. Cooperative but becomes angry due to the high workload.

Probably the worst organization ever. I have been trying to call them for the last 3 days. The automatic exchange directed to the extension that nobody attended (and I tried different extensions repeatedly). I even tried to call the registrar office but there wasnt any response. No email IDs given. Downloadable forms provide so little information, rather contradictory information. Form VII (for Registration of post graduate qualification) states one fee amount in one section and a different amount of fee for the very same objective in another section. Totally Pathetic!

Reach early, by about 8AM. And wear warm clothes. Get your token and wait for your turn. The secret is getting there as early as possible. Staff is very helpful, but overworked.

Wish I could give negative stars. The department is incredibly unprofessional, the staff doesnt know how to speak politely and will rapidly change their tone the moment they are speaking to someone high profile. I dont see any hope of things improving as long as the current management stays.

I had a good personal experience with PMC regarding my Good Standing Certificate. I was expecting a bad service according to some reviews on social media but it was a well organized and less time consuming overall experience with all the COVID-19 SOPs followed properly. I would suggest to go either first thing in the morning or immediately after lunch break that is when there arent many people.

PMC code of conduct seemed improved as compared to PMDC; which had serious attitude issues and arrogance.

As similar to rest of the Pakistani govt departments, this too delays process for months. Its been 8 months, applied for permanent license, still nobody willing to give even information. Have to go by your own, no phone calls responding, have gone multiple times but still no response, no information about the application

Poor services, in current situation of this institution it takes years, PMC to give services and facilitate like PMDC

I have lost all hope in this organisation. They are simply inconsiderate, unprofessional and the inefficiency of this organisation staggers me. Congratulations PMC you won the award for the most impolite and inefficient department. You raise the bar so low, that anyone would have to dig six feet underground just to get a bit close.

Please give right to the Punjab student.... who prepare the uhs syllabus announce by the uhs. Now they give everything to the nums and the syllabus of nums is based on federal books. Please announce the suitable syllabus for national mdcat which is different from the nums syllabus

Very poor systems. Token system is in place but no implement ation. Worst experience ever. Suggestion go in morning around 10 take a token come back and go after lunch.

Tokens are issued from reception counter for any type of submission of cheques draft and forms.its better to get photocopies of your documents before going there

Processing of Registration has improved alot

Very lethargic and slow process. Very few counters working keeping in view number of applicants. Long waiting time due to slow process.

Yet there are things need improvement specially student affairs. No efficient record maintaining is ensured by the management

Much busiest place. Need to come with ample time 2 to 3 hours. Timings are 10am to 3pm with one hour break (1pm to 2pm). Staff is cooperative but have to serve a lot of visitors in day so visitors cooperation is also required. Normal fee PKR 1,500 Urgent Fee PKR 2,000 and PKR 200 is Courier charges. Not offering by hand collection

Aaaah!!! I have no words to express my dissatisfaction over the management here! I’m a Foreign Medical Graduate, and I had to spend 5 days straight, from morning to night to receive my eligibility to appear in the NEB exam, sitting on the floor outside the NEB section, with hundreds of other applicants! How low can we go as a nation!? Please tell me! They disgrace such a noble profession!! By the grace of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) I passed all three Steps in the first go, ‏الحمد لله. My Step-III was on 27th Jan. 2019, the result was announced on 29th Jan., since then I’m waiting to receive my license, it’s almost 2 months now! I can’t apply in any hospital for HJ, because they ask for license, which I don’t have as of yet! I’ve been to the office 4 times to ask for the progress, EXCUSES are all one could get!!That was my issue! Now those who couldn’t pass one of the attempts. They have to wait endlessly for the schedule to the next attempt! My couple of friends couldn’t get through the exam, they’re still waiting for the schedule to be released! It was only in 2018, through long protests outside the PMDC office by fresh graduates, when they announced the schedule for 2 sessions in the same year! It was only the first and the only time until now in the history of this institution that they managed 2 attempts in a single year. This is PATHETIC!! PM Imran Khan please do something for these grave issue faced by Doctors! After all this humiliation, who would like to stay and work in this country!? We lose all our talent to the west! Where they are RESPECTED and treated like HUMANS unlike in Pakistan! I’m extremely sad to see this!Edit:My Step-III exam of (Cycle II of 2018) was on 27th January 2019 and as swift as NUMS is, the result was out on 29th January 2019. Since then everyone is waiting for receive the Provisional license to start the House-job. This body is so inefficient that it took them 15 days to just send the list of pass outs to the Ministry of Health for the approval. Then it took more than a month for the MOH to approve and send it back to PMDC. Only after 25th March they have started sending out the licenses to the Doctors. I still haven’t received mine, I’m told it’s been dispatched on 9th April. They’ve already wasted more than 2 months of our time.

PM&DC is a statutory regulatory authority established under Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Ordinance 1962 as a body corporate. It is known and respected worldwide and is part of international community of medical regulatory authorities (IAMRA). Pakistani doctors are considered one of the best and are doing meritorious service in all parts of the world and that is a testimony to the effective regulation of medical education being done by the PM&DC. No Pakistani Doctor can practice in Pakistan or abroad without being registered with PM&DC or without being in goodstanding with it.

Pmc are very dirty with them because the staff who are there is also very dirty and do it

The worst and the most mismanaged place on earth I have ever seen, despite the fact that the PMDC is headed by a retired brig. who is suppose to know nothing but management it is worth mentioning that I had visited far torn countries like parts of ex Kosovo even institutions there were far better managed without an intact government system

I recently visited PMDC in Islamabad to get my certificate verified and I found every one there very cooperative, which was a surprise because the reputation of their staff is that of being very arrogant and annoying. My experience however was good and as this was my second visit to PMDC, I can assure you that they do have nice people around.

The gentleman at the challan counter was very very helpful, courteous and respectful .the counter was on the extreme left. I wish him good luck .

A commission formed by the government of Pakistan replacing PMDC.It is a newly formed body.Its working is yet to be tested.

Pathologically , criminally Lazy, incompetent , waste of space staff who havent done an honest days work in their lives. They issue stock excuses for not having to do any work at all and just collect their undeserved pay. Like a typical government dept. only worse.The registrars main job is to block as many applications as possible and frustrate applicants with genuine documents. Only those who pay hefty bribes or come with a big sifarish(army/mna/ and share the same backward mentality are welcome. There is no professionalism at all. No decency, no intelligence, no ethics. They dont a clear policy to even address the most common of queries . They are just mindless ,low life creatures without the capacity to comprehend, address and resolve basic matters . If you put donkeys in their place you might even get better service. Honestly.

Now you get a token number at the entrance and your application will be entertained accordingly. If you want to get free early then reach there before the office timings so that you get an early appointment. With the increasing number of medical college in private and public sectors, the number of applicants is on the rise. I think the council should also consider some online registration options like we see in UK or Ireland

Worst experience. I couriered money for an urgent good standing which means it should be ready in 2-4 business days. But its been 20 days and I was told on phone that its stuck in the bank clearance step. I personally went to PMDC, Islamabad after this, and it turned out that my documents have been lost/misplaced. I registered a complaint and am going to file a new application and fees to get my good standing certificate.

Been 3 months since I sent them my documents for experience recognition for irish medical council, a simple step as I already have my permanent licence ,but not even 1 step taken towards it.

They wont pick up phone call, no training on how to properly handle complaints, third class staff of a third class institution. Pakistani doctors biggest curse is that we are forced to communicate with such awful people because theres no better alternative Lastly, people giving five stars and good reviews here are either pmdc staff members or their relatives.
