Very good place

Kenthla or Kenthlaan is a great village on the Margalla tops. Its an old village and I have seen many houses made with stone masonry. However, the construction technique used is rubble masonry and not the earlier cut stone technique.

Kenthla (written as Kenthlaan on Google Maps) is a beautiful village on Margalla Hills overlooking Islamabad. The village itself falls in Haripur district. Recently a Telenor tower has been installed here. It is an historic village and James Abbott also came here. Development is rapidly being carried out here. Islamabads sector D-12 is immediately below it. It is fast turning into a picnic retreat. Restaurants are increasingly opening here.
