The grilled chicken was in reality a mince chicken burger . Still it was a ok snack, wasnt too bad as I wouldve imagined.

The place itself is very cool and nicely located. People can sit inside or outside. Great place to visit with your new girl friend or friends. It is accessible by wheelchair. The ambiance is quite satisfying.Now coming to the taste buds. Things are expensive. The ice cream is not at par with what you pay. Many times I have had ice cream which was too icy and not consistent in texture as in not smooth, milky and creamy.I have had couple of bad experiences with the brownies too. Sometimes they were undercooked and sometimes they were burnt and you could taste the burnt flavor in your mouth which felt disgusting.Their new beef burgers are not bad but the chicken burgers are average. Prices should be revaluated and portion size could be more pleasing.The place has attractive decor and lighting. The staff could be more friendly and helpful.

Loved the ambiance and the vibe. Great place to hang out with friends or the missus for a cozy cuppa and a late night desert. Ordered the hazelnut latte with extra foam and the mocha with a shot of caramel and foam plus a Philly cheese cake for the road. Younger crowd, but definitely chill and not rowdy.

They need outdoor heaters for the cold. Too costly for the things they got.. A chai for 200..cmon bruh.. But quality is on point.. Would highly recommend the burgers they have

One of the oldest and best hangout spots in Islamabad. Unique look with vintage movie posters. Vast variety of food, geared mostly towards desserts. The F7 branch is the best one out of the lot with the largest menu and better location. Do note that its also a common dating spot for school children.

I found a strand of hair in my ice cream scoop today so I had to ask the team to replace it. They did it but how can there be a hair strand in the icecream. Maybe the person who was scooping it out didnt do it neatly. They need to take proper measures to keep the place tidied.

Being in Pakistan for 1.5 years already, this is the first place which resembles a bar in the west. Although Hot Spot is apparently a chain with cafés also in Lahore and Karachi, this place has a very alternative and independent atmosphere. The walls are covered with B-movie posters, while the lampshades are made of empty booze bottles. So different from any other place I found in Islamabad so far.Hidden in a quiet area of F7 Hot Spot serves a variety of tasty ice cream. Definitely a good place to spend a weekend evening. There was even live music during one of my visits.

Nice place. If you want to sit outside this is perfect place as they got nice sitting area. Retro themed inside sitting. Tried their molten lava cake and it was good.

Price are not good. Service is below standard as they did not even give you the tissues with your order. Food taste is good though but that is not enough if someone is paying way more high than the rest.

The Hot Spot is an Islamabad landmark. The original Hot Spot in Gol market F-7/3 has remained largely unchanged (apart from a recent renovation) since the last 25-30 years and is the go to spot for teenagers and college kids.The quality of the ice cream has remained consistent over the years and tastes just as good as it did since I first had it in the 90s. The Hot Spot also offers various desserts and cakes. Although the prices are a bit steep, the quality of the product is excellent.I recommend the killer brownie with vanilla ice cream or the minty monster sundae.The Hot Spot also offers a limited burgers and sandwiches menu but is primarily known for its desserts and ice creams.

Our go to dessert place in Islamabad. Well maintained and great tasting. We always get the brownie ice cream. Hot and cold!

Good experience with a relatively high price tag but their location and history makes for it... ice cream flavours are really wow but go for small rather than medium or large ones... a medium costs you around 500 Rs. Finding parking is an issue but not much if you can walk back.

Hotspot cafe is Islamabad’s best go to dessert place. They have a lively hangout for youngsters. Everything is moderately priced. Their delivery service quick and clean. Generally they deliver with foodpanda.

Visited the Grilled Burger. We ordered ahead and order was supposed to be served when we arrived. Despite this, order took 40 minutes to be served. The attitude of the staff was not pleasant. Order was served wrong and incomplete as well at first.At the time of bill, they keep on changing the bill amount. Didnt provided a system based bill, instead gave a kacha bill.This place is the worst in terms of service level. Food was good though.

This cafe should be made into a national treasure. Ever since I was a kid, this was the place to go for an ice cream or dessert. Its a more younger generation friendly area but its still serving the best brownie and ice cream in town IMO. They have added a burger joint which is also pretty good. They do not have a bathroom so easy on the drinks.

Dear Hotspot !! Please do take a close look at your plate of pasta. The portion is almost a joke. Plus Pesto is on the menu but not ever in the kitchen. The Burgers are okay but with Howdy right behind you, you need to make it good value for money for a sensible customer.End is still the same, desserts and ice cream.We love that you expanded your menu. Let this new menu measure up to Hot Spot Cafe please.

The Hot Spot Cafe we visited last night reminded me an old memory which took me back to my college time when we dined in a railway wagon parked on Railtrack in Sector F-7/3 and the name of that restaurant was Orient Express.It was the same wagon, carefully decorated with ideas and vision but this time serving sweet dishes.The ice cream scoop on top of a fresh baked patisserie we ordered was marvelous and justified for its price.

I mean hot spot is the Islamabadi thing. It’s supposed to be. However, I wouldn’t really go back unless, well, people didn’t make me and because of the farmers market.The squidgy chocolate cake is excessively heavy and not in a good way. The ice cream is nice. The supersonic fudge sundae has a weird cream on top that’s waaaaaaaay too blegh and ruins the rest of the sundae.The waffles were undercooked.But honestly the ice cream is really good and it does have a great vibe.

Its a very Happening place. I have been visiting them since almost more then 18-19 years. Their Ice cream is to kill for. The taste is as amazing today as it was all those years ago. The decor is Unique with the train compartment. We used to take Movies CDs & DVDs from them. Their walls are decorated with different movies posters local and international. Their is also a juke box on display. They now offer different snacks like small pizza, burgers, cakes and cookies too, along with the cold and hot beverages of the top quality. They also provide open air seating arrangement out side which itself is another experience. So if you like good Ice cream & shakes that is the place to be. Also the location is very private and not noisy at all.

Ice cream was good but their Café Latte turned out to be instant coffee in hot milk. When I challenged and pointed out, they didnt disagree. I asked for a refund. If the espresso machine is not working, you shouldnt deceive your customers

Its the most iconic icecream bar in the capital. The interior is designed like that of a train cabin, and is covered with old movie posters and novelty joke posters. The ice cream is also extremely good and I suggest everyone try Maple Walnut with Waffle combo. It goes extremely well with it. Just trust me. Skip the basic flavours and try this (I have mostly tried everything they have over the years).They also serve burgers (BLT), which is also insanely good, and worth trying. Only drawback is that this place is ALWAYS crowded and is popular after school hang out place for kids. But even if you are with a family there is always room inside (people generally sit outside). This is a must go to place.

Great icecream and excellent burgers.....if some one likes to have the good old regular big juicy and succulent beef patty with the classic taste of nothing else then this is the place to go.....the icecream is thick and creamy full of taste while the burgers are not the regular kind where the taste is added by adding sauces and lots of toppings rather it is just good old plain patty with ketchup and mustard ......my favourite....

There is still no match of their ice-cream in town but they lost traditional and classy look of their setup which was container with original movie posters and music

Hotspot has been a place Ive been going since I was a kid. Theyve maintained their taste and personally I believe they have the best waffle with chocolate ice cream combo you can find. They also have a neat retro theme going on which really lifts up the space
