Chai Mehfil is absolutely fantastic. The music (usually qawalli) makes for a great ambiance. It starts buzzing with people as day turns to night and keeps buzzing well after that. It can take a while to receive your order but the staff is friendly enough and reminding them politely tends to speed the process up.

Lovely place the environment the sitting area the food everything is just awesome. If youre going alone over there you wont even get bored I bet ️

Chai Mehfil is just an average rooftop cafe with untrained and rude staff. Staff didnt listened to complete order first. We had to remind them to bring the order after waiting. Since they didnt listened to complete order, our few items were not served.We asked to bring the heater closer to our seating upon which waiter clearly told us its not possible due to one step in the middle. Few minutes later we saw a Waiter picked the heater and set it up on the stage for qawals.Snacks and tea served were pretty average.Not recommended

Its a very good chai place to have a cup of tea with your loved one. The place is full of good quality. Environment is very awesome and lovely back ground music. Mostly qawali music is loved by everyone. I recommend must go there and have a cup of tea. Enjoy the roof top environment.

Karak Chai is good as compared to other Tea spots.Ive tried Chicken cheese paratha and peri.peri chikenCrowded mostly

Perfect place to hang out with your friends and loved ones. Kashmiri tea is very good. They have got best jelabi but it should be hot.

This place is so beautiful, starting from the entrance very beautiful design. Very unique design for this kind of place, really love the entrance design all those colorful lights and beautiful paintings on the walls superb. Roof top view is amazing you can clearly see the mountains view from sitting there if you dont want to go monal or damnekoh( I bet no one say no to monal and mountains view ) you can still enjoy the amazing view from here. We ordered Chicken cheese paratha, Anda Shami burger, karak chai and hot n sour soup. I really love the taste of Chicken Cheese Paratha, soup was perfect too and chai was amazing but didnt like the Anda Shami burger they can improve it was overpriced according to the taste, but over all it was amazing I recommend this place do visit with your friends and family they have lot of space to accommodate many people.

I have visited that place three times and I liked that place out side sitting and music diss doss boys and girls r coming smoking and enjoying chai paratha and many more food items but as many people said in there reviews totally agreed with them its not a family place if u want to go with family down stairs Chaya Khana u can go there with family

Food was lousy we ordered pakora it was like rock solid Not gonna lie chai was good and food wasn’t good at all. Everyone got stomachache after eating from this place. Staff was friendly, environment was good. Make your own choice.

Not a good place.. too much chaos and mismanagement.. a noisy place .. waiters also looked exhausted and overworked. Giving 3 stars for the colorful environment which may look great during acid trip..

Environment, ambiance and food was good enough but a bit expensive thoughn however price justifies the value. A good addition in Islamabad at roof top and having musical programs makes it to the wishlist of foodies and wanderers.A must place to visit for all even for families.

New Restaurant in town....Visiting New place is always exciting.Beautifully decorated a very colourful with amazing views of Islamabad roof top Restaurant with great live music every day.loved the environment and ambiance.We tried several dishes as it was an evening time soo we orderedTikki burger NachosJalebimasala chipsPakorasPizza parthasAnd all sort of tea Gur wali chaiMasala chaiLemon grass teaKhewaThe food tasted good....We had few complaints which the waiter sorted out happily.Last but not least I love the colourful uniforms of the servers.

Overall environment is good , but this place is not recommended for famalies, i feel it more like a dating point, or you can say a place where boys and girls visit just for smoking, I think there should ba s seperate smoking area, because if you are offering a seperate space for family, then you make sure no one is smoking in family area, and i am 31 years old, i have almost visited lot of food places in islamabad, i have never seen a place like that where girls are even smoking more then boys, I guess its the start of there business and they are not restricting their customers for smoking activities, but they took a strong action about that.

Chai Mehfil is goodjust for sitting... Otherwise, food & tea taste is not good. They forced us to order other items with tea .. in our case, we just came for a tea but they forced us to order something alongside it. Lastly, just a suggestion, please add more washrooms because there is only at the moment but the hall is so big.

Not a family place I guess.Almost everyone is vaping and smoking, your order takes too much time. And is delivered in patches.Staff is not trained.Quality of food was not good either.
