Lamb Karhai taste was good but Meat given was mostly Charbi & Hadi @ Rs.1800 per Kg

Fantastic food quality ! Loved the namkeen Dumba Karhahi + Patha Tikka Seekh , the kabuli rice with beef meat had its own unique taste. Thanks, will visit again with Family.

Very good setup. Very well cooked. Staff was courteous and welcoming which made the overall experience 5 star. One issue though is of parking space. Very limited parking available around the restaurant area

If you are lamb meat lover..you can try this place.They are old and traditional and make lamb shinwari in front of you so it takes a bit longer..The place is more friendly for takeaway..

Very nice place to sit on carpeted floor nd enjoy good food.... I have tried there Pata Tikka & Shinwari karahi..... I have found it even bettet than Peshawar. Too bad the street does not have parking space, which is a real trouble if u r coming with family. Food is worth trying though.

Food takes a long time to prepare. Luckily we ordered ahead and were able to eat once we sat down. BBQ in only the muttons fat and salt, its hard to believe thats the only ingredients. Its one of the best mutton I had in my life.The green tea is something else as well. Im used to drinking Japanese green tea and this closely resembles it as opposed to the other diluted green tea you get in Pakistan.

This is one of the oldest shinwari restaurants in islamabad. Though the rates are higher and the sitying place is not as neat as the other hotels nearby but the food quality is of no match. They will provide you with the meat of your choice.

Karahi was delisious.But karahi isnt for spice lovers.There double naan is so big .

Food taste was good. They serve mutton in Afghani style. Restaurant is on expense side. Wait time after ordering is about 45 minutes so be prepared for long waiting.Sitting area and sitting arrangements were pathetic.I can go again but only for taste other parameters like hygiene, service and sitting arrangements have a big question mark and can be improved 1000 times.

This time I visited again but sorry to note that while weighing the meat the butcher plays unfairly and tricks the buyers in measuring weight of meat incorrectly. I also noticed that after doing this with multiple customers he gathered the meat and asked the cook to make a shinwari dish with it Food good but not very good... priced fair... ambience not good. Shinwari is a dish cooked of lamb meat in salt, little green chillies and tomatos but all the ingredients must be cooked in lambs own fat... but the reality on ground is that they mix little of ordinary cooking oil ;) and this is what relegate the basic delicacy of the dish.

Its a great place and good food.
