It was the best Market for variety of food and groceries but need love from CDA to fix the water leaking issues and garbage disposal next to the food courts.

(Jalil Baltis Chapali, Jahangirs Karhayi, Savors Pulao & Rana Bhai k paan. All of them at one place which was love. The melody food park got in me love with Islamabad

Used to be really good market with British library and clean food street in the centre of the market. Now it is impossible to cross the market. British library has been shifted somewhere else (due to security reasons) and food market is looking like a junk yard. Only a good place for photo copy or buy clothes. If you are female, always visit this market with some company!!!

Melody market is one of the oldest markets in Islamabad. There was a cinema named melody here. For that reason this market is called melody market. a food street is just adjacent to this market which is a nice place to visit and eatery.

One of oldest shopping center at Islamabad. However, its grace is withering away and only CDA officials can give a better reply for its recent state of affairs. The in housed Food Street is also losing its grace even though it is always housed full. Much can be done in order to improve the condition of this shopping center.

Great place if you want to see the old Islamabad. This place is the oldest market in Islamabad and hosts a wide assortment of businesses including grocery stores, medical and dental clinics, pharmacies, clothing stores, tailors, stationary stores, a food street, hotels, banks, auto workshops and part dealers amongst others. The General Post Office, Aabpara police station and the ministry of religious affairs and interfaith harmony are within walking distance.

Melody food street is quite good place for gathering. All banks are there. Rush is less than normal in routine.
