A abandoned male cat came to our neighborhood about a year back. He is white in color and very loving one. He use to come to my house two times a day. I realize that he had problem in chewing the food so I started to give him boiled chicken. With the passage of time his appetite was becoming less and less. I took him to vet he diagonised that he has a growth under the tongue and his teethAlso need removal. He was admitted in a clinic for 5 days after a month again he was having problem in eating. He was feeling hungry but when he tried to eat it hurts.I took him to Dr. Rana’s Pet Care Centre, E-7, Islamabad. When I parked my car I saw a man coming to help me take the cage if my cat. I had never visited the clinic before therefore, I was not aware that he was Dr. Rana. I was greatly impressed. I told brief story about the cat and told him he is stray cat. He and his team had a thorough examination and advised first thing is to remove his teeth as they are hurting him while eating. In short they remove his 10 teeth and took well care of him. Dr. Rana has the state if the art clinic and his rates are also very high. He charged me only 30% of the bill and gave big discounts on subsequent visit.Big thank you Dr.Rana, the cat is doing fine and he is so much attached with me that he start living with me.

I was quite skeptical of taking my 4-month-old kitten there especially after reading the reviews, but I barely had any choice and she needed immediate medical attention.All those people saying that he is here only to make money are correct. He doesnt have any regard for our pets whom we consider our family. You set a foot in the clinic and they set their eyes on your wallet. They will charge a lot for barely anything. They make sure you keep visiting them for at least some days so they can continue to rob you while pretending they care they are kind and professional. They will not try to fix your pets problem ASAP, rather they will try to extract as much money as they can from you, cheap tactics. Zero humanity.

They claim they respect animals actually the Do NOT. They respect money only. They claim they serve 24/7 actually they are not. They are not ready to attend emergencies. Cost of services are higher than the services rendered. There is no system for handling patient by a designated doctor. Wrong diagnoses and wrong treatment led to death of my lab. It is a centre of spreading viruses.

They lost our cat while she was in their cattery, told us some random girl had opened the cattery door and the cat had escaped, they werent all that apologetic or helpful after that and we had to post posters and offer reward money ourselves. Luckily, we found the cat after a week.

Ranas pet clinic is a good place to take your pet for a check up also a good place to adopt animals or drop of your pet for adoption.The people over there are really nice and gentle with the animals and you can definitely trust them with your pet. The only thing is they are a bit expensive compared to the other vets. But I would recommend them to any pet owner.

The worst vet clinic I have ever visited. They charge 9500 for just keeping my kitten warm for one day and other day they call and said your kitten died. They only pretend that they are taking care of your pet but after you left your pet they never look after. I asked if you buried my kitten then I was shocked to hear that they charge 2500 just to bury kitten, then we go there and after taking our kitten then from no where they said you have to pay 2500 more when we ask why to pay more then they said we gave services. Then, I ask them, why you charge for burring the 3 month kitten, then the son of Dr.Rana said yes its our right to charge 2500 because we buy salt of 2000 pkr, and 500 for our services and we gave bribe to government because its illegal to bury kitten. I mean which type of salt was ever sold in 2000 and whatever Dr.Rana son said was extremely astonishing, like its crime to bury kitten. I requested you all kindly dont trust on them because I was in so much pain that time and instead of saying something kind to us they treated us so badly. There must be specific place in hell for Dr.Rana son.

Dr Rana is helpful but staff is inexperienced and I have mixed feelings about overall experience with them as the charges are very high and especially if the animal is in critical condition you may end up paying around 1.5 lakh just to see it die .. in my past experience, local vets have saved animals in 30rs fee and sarkari ointments whereas it ends up being a huge mental and financial duzz with this system. Secondly a visit to the pet always brings gift viruses so better invest on prevention.

My cat died because of their neglectance. Senior doctor specially Dr.Rana and his son treated people so badly, they charge 25,000 just for admitting my cat. My cat ear was just cut its minor injury, I could take care of her by myself but I love her a lot l, I taught if they charge so much, then there must be specific and special treatment but at 8pm they call that my cat died and then, they ask to pay 6k more for services and I told them that, I pay for everything but they are so aggressive. Kindly dont trust on them.

It is a very popular and an upscale pet clinic. It mainly caters health issues of cats and dogs. The vet and the nurses are always forthcoming to listen to any problems with the pet. There are not many places like this in Islamabad. I know there are people who consults the vet here even after they leave Islamabad.

Ive yet to have a bad experience here but the cost is very very high. Makes me think twice to go there but again every time has been positive experience wise. Also to all pet owners I would encourage you to be hands on during your pets treatment. Insist on it. I tend to be as close as I can to comfort my cats. Dont send them with a stranger or leave them alone for too long. Im shocked at the negative reviews. I had no idea of these things.

These guys are heartless and unqualified people giving Pets whatever medicine they THINK will work, unfortunately this happened to my 2 month old persian kitten whom i took to his clinic to get vaccines and deworming meds after seeing his big website and very tidy clinic.. Little did I know these people are effin murderers giving my kitten wrong meds and injections, he (kitten) sadly died two days later. Keeping my anger at bay i i chose not to confront these stupid vets as it wouldnt bring my cat back and would result in whichever so called doctor who killed my cat experiencing the same thing with me on the killing side..I am writing this review right now because i just got two more two months old kittens who have ringworm which is a contagious fungul infection and while scrolling through all these vet clinics on google i saw this one which is actually on the top 5 of the list! Me not being able to watch this am sharing my personal heartbreaking experience with you..My advice to all of you who love your pets please choose another vet clinic, and if possible search up the infection or any health problems your pet is having so you have an idea of what should be given to your pets and what the causes and symptoms of these problems are.. Concluding my review i just want to tell you guys about my experience, now you have to decide if you want to take your precious companion to these killers or not.Thanks

This is worst clinic i ever visited. They charge 19000 for my cat minor injury and next day they call and said cat died

My 1 year old cat ginger died at their hands. We took her to them after we felt that she was acting somewhat lazily as she was normally a very active and playful cat. They said some bs regarding how she would need a blood-test to be on the safe side. I obviously agreed for the safety of my cat, but at that point I did not know what was in store for me. Regardless, next day they tell me that she has a viral infection and would need to get constant drips for about 5-6 hours every day for the next three days. I once more agreed, trusting that they would know what they were doing. Now, I should tell you that she was eating her food **before** these drips. However, after they started injecting her, her appetite went away. The drips continued but her conditions actually got worse as the days went on. On the third day, they tell me she has jaundice and needs more drips. All the while they kept charging us exorbitantly, but my cats safety was on my mind. On that day, she started vomiting violently and she started bleeding from her back, but they said it was good for her and meant to happen. On the 4th day, at 5:15, I get a call telling me my cat has passed away. I write this not to get some sort of petty revenge, because it won’t bring my cat back, I write this to warn you, who may consider taking his cat (or any other animal) to this place, to think twice before doing so.

This is the only ISO certified clinic in Pakistan IIRC. Dr Rana and his staff have treated my pets for 20 years and I have utmost faith in them. They have a real love for their patients and courtesy for their families. All kinds of services, lab tests, surgeries, boarding and grooming are available under one roof. Highly recommended.

I was told that he is the best vet in town. Despite being costly, I wanted the best for my dog. She was beautiful, lively and full of energy. She was loved by everyone.We decided to take her to the best vet in town to spay her. We were promised that nothing would happen to her and the surgery would be fine. The next day we get a call that she didnt make the surgery. They didnt accept any responsibility and made up an excuse saying she had a cardiac arrest. Later on I found out that this wasnt the first time he had done this.To some people, pets are just animals, but to us she was family and we loved her dearly.She wasnt sick or anything,she was completely healthy and we just wanted to get her spayed.They blamed her heart being too weak which is a lie because she was never weak, very very active and could run faster than the other dogs despite her small size.I would not recommend this vet to anyone

Beware!!!!This place is a thug house. They wont even understand your problem but they will prepare a freaking bill out of nothing.We took two months old puppies with vomitting problem. They doctor started doing unnecessary tests and at the end told us they have parvo virus. They prepared a bill of 22 thousand and also asked us to keep coming for next 6 days. We paid the bill and took the puppies to another Vet on PWD road. He immediately discovered the puppies had a small problem of food poisoning. The puppies recovered the same evening. There was no finding of parvo virus. However these robbers couldnt even find the correct cause of the problem. Our puppies could have potentially died there.If i had spare time i would have taken them to the court, for incompetency, misleading information, findings without providing evidences, exploitation of clients for their lack of knowledge. These robbers should not be allowed to even run their clinic.Stay Safe!!!Stay away!!!!

Dr Rana is clearly mad. You can see he hates animals from the rough way he treats them, and he doesnt seem to have a clue what hes doing. I even wonder if he kills animals for sadistic pleasure. I took my two kittens there in about 2005 (I know it was a long time ago but I was just thinking about it all) and he either overdosed them or injected them with something that wasnt a vaccine. They both developed poisoning symptoms (losing balance/creeping paralysis from the injection site) and the weaker one died. It was such a horrible, painful death. My friend took his cat there for a wash and groom and when he went to pick up was told by this psycho vet: sorry its gone! with a smile, like it was a joke. The worst case of all was when another friend took his dog to have its gall bladder removed (Im sure unnecessarily) and found out later that it had had its pancreas removed instead! The (very young) dog died slowly and painfully. I guess theres no governing body in Pakistan for veterinary surgeons (Im from the uk where fortunately there is) so this nasty, dangerous man gets to carry on practising. So sad because hes caused a lot of people a lot of heartache for people who loved their pets as well as a lot of suffering to the animals themselves.

Their psyche is of milking the customer for every dime he has.Putting your pet for adoption? Please provide 20 kgs of Food. I mean really. Even though it is going to get adopted withing a week or two, but you should provide 20 kgs of Cat Food bought from our store.

The doctor and his assistants are just heartless butchers. Took my cat to him - wasnt dying or anything but had an infection in uterus - his assistant injected him with anaesthesia and simply attached a glucose drip. Repeated it the next day and the third day his ass overdosed and killed her.Guess what the doctor does immediately after that. Rs 1500. Didnt even bother apologising or say condolences just simply asked for money even though his treatment failed.Everyone knows these guys are heartless. Stay away from Dr Rana Butcher.

Worst vet on the planet!!!I sent my cats for grooming to his clinic and he gave one of my cats stitches and then refused to admit to that. Let me add that my cats were given anesthesia because their groomers couldnt handle the cats without it.Then he misdiagnosed my cat and asked me for consent to put my cat down. I went to another vet for a second opinion, and there was nothing wrong with my pet..Basically I wouldnt call him a Doctor because he is not one.I would never ever recommend him

The Doctor was extremely professional and was recommended by cat corner (you can Facebook it) . My cat had a lump on her abdomen that was filled with fluid. He drained it out , told me to keep it under observation. I felt my cat was in safest hands.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! Im giving it one star because 0 stars is not an option. I had a conversation with a friend about their mistreatment towards their clients pets and she told me their was a cockroach in the cats carrier when returned. Definitely dont leave your cat or dog their the animals look miserable. The worst part is that the doctors dont treat the animals but their assistants all do it with no proof of Qualification for clients to see (e.g a certificate). They will grab the animals in such a hostile way youll be left in shock. I dont even know who Dr.Rana is to be perfectly honest. When I take my dog to the vet just like any other pet owner I expect professionalism from the clinic, however here I was faced with a young man with a bitter expression shouting Yar! in an aggressive and irritated tone when my dog flinched as they tried to forcefully cut her nails. I was able to cut my dogs nails at home later with patience, first gaining the dogs trust while this young man who seemed like a trainee complained that the dog wouldnt stay still. Im utterly shocked at what kind of a joke of a clinic theyre running. fyi Everything in their shop is overpriced; you can get the same products for half the price their selling. Its clear whoever is in charge here doesnt care about actually helping animals but has made a business out of this work field out of sheer greed for money. I hope they sleep well at night knowing their ripping people off for a few extra bucks! Allah hafiz
