Not sure why people call this as one of best eye hospitals in India. This is just waste of time where you have to wait for at least 3-4 for your turn even after taking the appointment in advance i.e. generally 10 days before. Once you are in you will definitely see that administration of this place is decades old. All hospital staff will treat in a way that they are doing some favor to you by doing their jobs. If you are lucky your doc will see you after 3-4 hrs. wait for just 5 mins. While whole tests and filing of your case is done by PG members. At last they are saying due to covid they are not printing the reports or you have to pay rs 50 extra for the report. Once paid I just received the case file. They told that all these prescriptions will be sent over our email as well, for digital records. It has been more than 2 weeks and their is no email from there end. I had an scheduled appointment at 11:30 and my doc checked me at 5 PM and i was out of the hospital at around 6 PM. This is definitely the worst experience in my life when hype is so high. If google allows me i like to rate this as 0 stars. when leaving I saw few patients were raising concerns for the long wait specially the one came with urgent needs or with very small kids. Kindly dont waste your time , effort and money on this hospital unless really required. If you have no job for entire day and like to sit in waiting area please pay a visit.

Medical services and facilities are extremely good, other management extremely poor, security staff is very unprofessional and rude. They dont have even sence to talk senior citizens. Patients are coming all the way from across India and patients relatives had to seat Infront of gate, they dont even allow in campus, inside hospital building only one attender with patient is fine, but relatives should allow in campus and provide seating arrangements accordingly COVID norms. Toilets are poorly maintained, badly stinking. Please train security staff to be polite and professional.

Too Disorganised Staff & very long waiting time. There is no token system at the Reception or Billing counter. Staff has no idea where to redirect the patients. Food sold is priced more than what is being sold outside. Please consider patients coming from villages who cannot afford to pay Rs.45 for 2 Idlis. For an Emergency patient, we came in morning at 8 am & all the check ups happened around 12 pm. How do we trust the Hospital if you make an Emergency patient wait for 4 hours which is too disappointing. Please arrange for a token system for patients to report at Reception or Billing counter & also to report to the doctor Please don’t let patients with High BP & Diabetes suffer without breakfast from morning 8 am to afternoon 12 pm.

I have been visiting this hospital for the past 4 months because of a retina problem for my mother. I dont know if they really treat poor people at discounted prices. But for normal people, they charge almost equal or more than private corporate hospitals. Most of the diagnosis/tests done by junior folks. Main doctor spends hardly 2-3 minutes. They just suggest tests very frequently and go by the reports. Everything is done in a hurry. Councellers never care to pick up phone. I dont know why they share the phone number when they dont pick up even in work hours. Even after paying hefty money, they treat you as if they are doing some charity.

Worst staff.. has been treated in lvp institute since 12yrs.we are thankful for that..but today the experience I had with may be 3rd floor receptionist MAHESHWARI mam...made us disappointed.she rejected patient for surgery with free service as the attenders with her appearing as affordable.The attender was an unknown person who motivated them to visit lvp hospital..As a holder of arogyasri card and patient had two surgeries without a penny ..but now we are forced to pay money to get treatment....they are financially low and patient condition is absolutely not good.she is a widow from remote village.*issue with receptionist not with doctors..she has judged as rich by seeing the person who came to help them.. my sincere request is to pls go through patients actual condition but not their surroundings.Maheshwari behaviour is rash staff they will call sir but they tone is very ruff and if any illiterate come they will play with them it is wrong happening by you.she talks same like a throwing stones in my heart..very disappointed # five days time waste..

We are regularly visiting this hospital for my parents eye problems.1. Waiting time will be more.2. None of Doctors will sign on the prescription ( It will be difficult for claiming at office)3. None of the receptionist will sign on receipts after paying amount (again it will be a problem for claiming).4. We have to pay Rs. 50 extra for report printing. Report also very unclear.

I had laser cataract surgery with pan optics trifocal toric IOL recently. My vision improved very well after 2 months. Good Hospital to visit. I am giving 4 star because Doctor has to examine both retina and cataract. With out verifying my Retina, cataract operation was done. after surgery my vision was not improved and again had to go for retina checkup and waited almost 2 months for retina improvement. Finally got good vision after retina problem solved.

Eye checkup and treatment are very good. But from my experience, I recommend and request to not buy spects in Lv prasad premium opticals shop. They show you very expensive glasses. Finally, when you order an expensive glass believing its quality will be good, believe me it is not. The frame is crossed and they won’t even replace it with some other proper frame. Instead of spending Rs.2000-Rs.4000, I bought a Rs.8000 spectacles from that premium opticals and it was damaged one. When you ask them to refund the amount or replace it, they will say “this kind of issues occur very rarely, but sorry we can’t do anything”. While selling they say that quality is very good, but when a damaged piece comes they say we can’t do anything.I wasted my money and have to throw spects in trash and buy new one again. So please I recommend not to go to that premium opticals in the hospital to buy spects. They will charge you so much and its not worth it when they can’t fix the issue.

I have done my PRK eye surgery here ... initially they have done a primary eligibility test for the laser eye surgery ... in this test my retina is thin so they asked me to come after 3 months with some natural remedies to improve the retina ... the doctor then sujjested me to get the eligibility eye test once again now the retina is improved to get the surgery done ....So I booked a slot for my surgery and the doctor sujjested me to go for PRK rAther then LASIK it’s more traditional method and a long lasting one so I have choosed PRK laser On the day of surgery the doctor hardly took 30minutes to do the surgery ... post surgery the doctor has given eye drops to prevent the dryness in eyes for upto 3months ...really it’s a amazing surgery now I’m able to move happily without spectacles with this surgery ... hats off to the Team of doctors At LV prasad ...

Very Hygienic and well equipped medical equipments. The doctors and there associates are humble and respectful towards the patient. They will allow one aid along with patient. The waiting area is neat and they are following the pandemic norms. The sign boards are well mentioned and they direct you where wanted to be. The toilets are clean. The lift facility is also good. The Reception staff and security guards are well behaved. If you are going to take a LASIK surgery / Refractive Surgery they counsel you before hand and theyll perform certain tests and come to a conclusion which type of surgery is effective for the patient. I took a wavelength- Allegro-oculyser scan to confirm whether Im eligible for LASIK. I was found to be eligible for LASIK surgery and the opthomologist recommended that at anytime I can undergo LASIK.Oerall the experience is good.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at L V Prasad.... I had appointment with DR manju for my 4 year old kid... He is having eye infection from past 3 months.... Firstly there is no proper seating arrangement for kids during eye checkup... My son was not able to reach the machine... How can a eye checkup be performed without making the kid sit comfortably? When L V Prasad claims to be treat kids of all age, shouldnt it make the required arrangements? Secondly the doctor did not even examine my son... Seeing the kid suffer from past 3 months I hadchad of questions.. the doctor should take out time to examine the patient properly and help the patient/parents understand the issue... There is no point in having doctors with good experience if they make parents feel pathetic for visiting L V Prasad...

Nice doctors and nice treatment. Very helpful and attentive staff and nice people.Now negatives:Completely money minded. We took the highest package, so that someone else could be treated for free (thats what they claim). Completely money minded:1. Even after paying full amount before the surgery, the attendants came over 10-15 times asking for room rent as soon as patient is brought to the room after surgery insisting that money be paid today or during discharge.2. Food for patients is not included even in the highest package. Horrible food (even for hospital food levels).3. We were allotted room on the top floor, definitely not worth the price. Better rooms and lower price in other hospitals with better facilities.

One of the best hospital for eye in India , I think the 2nd best eye hospital in India, and Anna Reddy campus is really very big, and all the facilities and technologies are great here and doctor too.. usually its too busy and its on main road so traffic is miserable too, hospital is great and here there is an eye college too..You need to have an appointment in advance for check-up still there will have an alot waiting so make sure you will have atleast 4 hours..And all the operation will done here related to eye and its an research institute so they have advance technology..and prices for operation are responsible too.

There is a cheap canteen facilities for the visitors though it always remains very crowded and difficult to occupy a seat during lunch time. The negative point is that there is always a long waiting time for every patient.

Worst help desk I have ever seen. The ladies at 3rd floor are very irresponsible and least bother about concern of the patients and only talk customers who are ready to make the payment and addition to this their consultation fee has got drastic hike and when asked abt the same they say its management decision. Doctors are highly experienced and very well behaved. Even the interns working are very friendly and guide you properly through the procedures. The facilities are wonderful and highly advanced.

They are doing good charity, good cleanliness and sophisticated equipment. But they need improvement in communication and transparency.I had undergone Retina Surgery.They didnt tell in the beginning that I will not get full vision. After surgery they told.Before 1 st surgery they didnt not tell that I will be requiring second surgery to remove oil.They dont have proper system to take insurance amount and pay balance amount. I could not get claim after surgery.I dont know if the quality of surgery is good, as still oil spots are there in vision even after 40 days.Spectacles taken for 4000 are having poor vision than my old specs of 400.

Great eye hospital . Everyone is so cooperative here . All doctors are kind and friendly here . It is the best eye hospital in South India and second best in India and whole of South Asia . I had an eye checkup for strabismus surgery on 11th march , 2020 along with blood test and eye pressure checking . It is a great facility for the strabismus ( squint ) patients for having surgery here . The place is extremely systematic . Only one attendee is allowed inside the main hospital chamber , though everyone can enter the premises . There are great , famous opthalmologists present here , who is known for their work in India and abroad . Hyderabad LVPEI is the best ones . Student are allowed to handle the case study while the professor or the senior doctor handles treatment and surgeries. Teacher student cooperation is excellent here .

Great service over eye health

Doctors & Catract team was very helpful but management is very poor with scheduling. They are always delayed by couple of hours,they really doesnt care about customers time. Management doesnt care about reviews or complaints,becuase it well established and well known for eye specialist in Andhra Pradesh. Please who left reviews are not even 0.001% of thier daily visitors,so if you doesnt care about time and want best eye specialist you can choose LVPEI. I am writing as am waiting to see doctor more than 1hr 30mins

The doctors are praise worthy..They ol are doing a commendable job..but iam very much dissapointed with the security department..The security agents are not trained to behave in a professional way i understand it is there job to have an eye on everything and maintain the peace in the hospital but there is a professional way to handle everything..i work in an Mnc which is known for security and the company make sure that the security etiquettes is been followed by everybody but it is also made sure that no agent in the department sounds rude..the administrative department is lvpie seems to be like they own the hospital and are providing free service to the patients..i think they should be well trained so that they can do their job simultaneously also make sure that they are not hurting ppl sentiments out there and if theres any supervisor whoz going through this review kindlycontact me i have to give a very strong feedback..
