Radio Pakistan Hyderabad very famous state owned organization .This station came into existence on 17 august 1955, inaugurated by information and broadcasting minister Pir Ali Muhammad Shah Rashdi in Homestead Hall Hyderabad.In 1962 station upgraded from 1 KW to 10 KW , also building shifted into new building in the centre of city and inaugurated by President of Pakistan field marshal Muhammad Ayoob Khan .Radio Pakistan Hyderabad introduced many artists ,musicians , poet drama writers etc which become very popular for instance, Abida Parveen , Alan faqeer Maee Bhagi , Khamiso Khan (alghozo player)Allah Bchayio Khoso, Ustad Manzoor Ali Khan Dhol Faqeer, Mohan Bhagat , Sushila Mehtani , Muhammad Juman, zarina Baloch , Mustafa Qureshi , Muhammad Ali , Amar Jaleel Abdul Qadir Juneno Mehtab Akbar Rashdi, Saleh Muhammad Shah etc.
