Week of disappointment continues. From Chahar Bagh Restaurant 4 days ago (28.12.2019) to Riaz Restaurant today on 01.01.2020, poor food quality and rude staff has ruined two otherwise perfect days. Today at Riaz Restaurant, the so-called Achari Handi was not cooked properly and it did not even have Achar taste at all. (They also served 2 raita and 1 salad which we asked to take back as we had not ordered it.) So we sent the handi back and got it changed (which obviously wasted about 20-30 mins and we were unable to enjoy rest of the meal). Now when it came to billing, the cashier added Fresh salad in the bill, i told him i dint order salad, he looked at me with anger and said WAPIS KYUN NAHI KIA THA PHIR. I told him politely k sir ap order dekh lein, me ne order e nahi kia tha. So he rudely cut it out of the bill and then added raita in the bill, i told him we dint order any, and he glared at me with pure hatred. It was so rude i had to tell him k tameez se baat karo aur jo order kia hai uska bill karo bus. NOT TO MENTION THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE A FEW MONTHS BACK. WE ORDERED (AMONG OTHER THINGS) 2 GRILLED FISH COSTING RS.1500 EACH. BUT INSTEAD THEY SERVED 3 OF THOSE. I POLITELY PAID FOR ALL THE 3 BECAUSE THE CASHIER ASKED K SIR FISH WAPIS NA KAREIN. Bad experiences. Definitely not a recommended restaurant in Gujranwala. Find some place else. Thankyou. PS: the cuttings on the bill were overcharging which i got corrected.

It was a good experience with nice food and attentive staff, although we were the only customers there . The only short coming was that serving size was small. It was enough for a company of two (which we were) but if I am to visit with friends the serving will not be enough to satisfy us. But the taste does make up for serving size. Quality was good, seating area was clean and staff responded to every request with proper courtesy.
