Very good airport.not very rushing airport but services are very reat here.and also very neat and clean airport in this area and all international departures available here.

Well it’s a small city. In respect to that, the airport is acceptable. Domestics flights fly more often than international ones. For international flights you usually get a connection from Karachi or Islamabad. The service is good, the staff is polite and welcoming. Yes, the poor guy is actually sitting on a wooden board on top of a dustbin.

If you are going to visit Faisalabad international airport must arrange your conveyance as you will not find uber careem readily available there and local taxi drivers demand double or even triple fare and you have to walk atleast 2 Km from airport to get transport.

I often go to Faisalabad international airport for domestic flights, mostly for Faisalabad to Karachi. This is a small airport situated in central Punjab. This is a very good airport overall. After recent renovation work now it looks better than before. Staff is also very polite and respectful. I like this airport because Faisalabad is my hometown.This airport is a standby military air base and can be used by Pakistan Air Force when needed.

Once used for domestic flights, but the airport is now renovated to international standards and international carriers are operating from it for Middle East countries like UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. International Carriers are Qatar Airways, Fly Dubai, Gulf Air and Air Arabia. Domestic flight carriers are PIA and Serene Air.

The Airport Terminal is similar to a local bus station, let me say the Daewoo terminal Faisalabad is better if compare to new updated terminal building of Faisalabad Airport.Government spends millions in renovation work since 2015 but lack of future planning, experience, proper management, vision and lack of international basic standards is the failure of this project.Lot of airlines like Emirates, Saudia and Etihad Airways are in continues contact with government and civil aviation to improve airport standard but no one is serious of the development of airport.Airport had got a vast empty land under Airport boundaries for a new terminal by side of current terminal and vast land spaces for Apron to park Aircraft upto minimum a dozen of aero bridges connecting main terminal, unfortunately, current apron cannot accommodate more than two aircraft. Thus there is no vision and future planning which results loss of millions on renovation project.The runway is only 2800 meter long which unables the long haul aircraft like Boeing 777 - 200 LR or 777 - 300ER and Boeing 747 Aircraft models to land and take off.only the aircraft model Boeing 737 series of short to medium distances can land on this air strip of faisalabad.The current Airstrip can be extended easily by taking few acres of open fields land along the air strip to allow heavy Airbus to land at Faisalabad which the city deserved and got potential of handling passengers 5 to 6 millions annually if considered without affecting nearby Lahore, Islamabad and Multan Airport.

Felt happy when plane landed at the home land, Yes Faisalabad my native city. But as landed and people rushes outside, down stairs, grumbling with each other represent whole picture of our nation as Pakistani’s. These are the same people who traveled from advance countries and behaving as there true nature. Anyhow I came out the air port is under construction so quit messup. In a que waiting for my turn for FIA / Immigrations entries etc. The staff behavior is representing true nature of our society.Now it’s turn to collect baggage which is like to conquer the K-2 an up hill task. At last got my luggage from the conveyor belt and went for scanning through. The staff over there is totally miss behaving with passengers (whoes appearance seems local not in Pants / trousers) At last my turn and I went through this procedure which was pathetic. After this got my bag which is about 23kg only and allowed by air line was 40kg . another person which seems more then a thief rather air port staff wearing shalwar qameez and checking the bags after opening. I was strolling my bag for main gate to exit and that man stopped me to open my bag for checking which was totally shocking, I enquired that is the scanning machine out of order or not displaying details of my bag? The person which was not authorized for this is also collecting some 500Rs or 1000Rs from innocent passengers as bribe for clearance.Any how on my arguments I told him ok you can check it out and then he ask for money I smiled and ask for what, he said for clearance, I told him you can check my bag and also my passport that how much I travel and knews well all the rules and regulations. On this he allowed me to go.After coming out I was think is this we? Owing to such representatives we are falling down in whole world. We are a corrupt nation therefore such persons ruling on us.May ALLAH Bless this Beloved country (Ameen)

Faisalabad International Airport is best for District Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, sargodha and other near to this division. In this Airport everyday flights coming from different countries and also domestic flights from other cities of Pakistan.The best thing is that the quantity of flights as compare to the Lahore Airport is less. Due to this reason passengers are easily departed and arrived in very less time.I like Airport very much.
