Captured a video of an arriving train at the station at midnight. anyways the train was late but i enjoyed the time at the station capturing photos and videos. The train was late about 3 hours. It was my first visit to Faisalabad. People were very nice especially that auto rikshaw driver and people i met at a restaurant located right outside the station 100-150 meters across the road. I asked them whats the famous or special thing about the city, they said their famous item is Jugtain (Jokes) and the other thing is Clothes because the clothing industry plays major part in industrial sector of this city.

Railway Station Faisalabad, once a busy and crowded place, now gives a deserted look. Deteriorating state of railways coupled with COVID-19 pandemic is the contributing factor that has stolen the gorgeousness of this place. Still the utility of this place; however, cannot be overemphasized because it provides access to a reasonable source of transportation to the public.

This place need many improvements but still it is good enough.

A large amount of cargo is exported from and imported into Faisalabad daily. There was railway line between Jaranwala and Faisalabad between 1926 to 1940 Jaranwala-Lyallpur Branch Line railway stations and railway track land still existed.

Good railway stations but the staff responce is very poor. Nobody bother about the inquiry phone. No responce.

There is only one inter city ticket booking counter for express trains. There must be two booking counter to avoid gathering of personal during Covid 19 spikes.
