Beautiful old structure. it is said it was opened in 1896.it should improve on station facilities. it needs to improve its sitting area and waiting hall.needs more spacious station. it should have better eating options availble as there are many at lahore station. it does not have enough for clean drinking water. in a country where there is so much heat in summer it should have clean and cool drinking water.faisalabad is one of the largest city in pakistan. it needs more rails.16 trains leave this station daily.it has cargo section which sends and recieve huge amount of cargo. it should also improve its parking area.

Great Memories I Have With This Train Station.Seeing It Has Not Changed Alot in Last 39 Odd Years or Do is Heartbreaking and Worrying.Its a Major Train Station and Government Should Pay Some Attention to It and Bring It Up To a Level. Our Public Transport In General Need a Complete Overhauling and Train Stations Are The Must.Visited Here During The Covid-19 Pandemic After Sehri and Loved Being Here. It Was Pretty Sad to See It Completely Empty and Quite. Met Some Railway Staff Working Who Were Very Nice and Respectful and Actually Guided Us Through. Pakistan Is a Blessed Country but For Some Reason The Leaders Never Take Public Service Seriously. This Train Station was Established in 1896 and Has Been Serving The Public Ever Since. Ministry of Railways is Responsible for It but What I Could See and What I Heard From The Staff Was Frightening, This Place Needs a Alot of Attention and Need Upgradings. The Station Itself Is Located At a Decent Area of The City and is Accessible From Almost Everywhere Very Easily.Hope to Come Back Here Soon.

13Dec2020: My first time ever passing from this Station.The Station that was constructed in 1896, since caters the lower and middle class, thus is neglected.We were here waiting for Sir Sayyed Express for journey back/down Karachi. The train starts journey from Rawalpindi. Here at Faisalabad, additional boggies are added. The quality of boggies from Faisalabad are very inferior as compared to those from Rawalpindi.There wasnt enough sitting space and most of the passengers were standing on the platform waiting for the delayed train.The staff are polite and friendly.We were here in Faisalabad to visit head office of Agri-Tourism Dev Corp at Qadir Bakhsh Farm.

A good railway station but being the third largest city of Pakistan there should be more platforms and area on station. The management is also not good as per need of passengers.

Travelling through train is always very comfortable and economical. We have a lot of historical buildings as railway stations in many cities. Unfortunately, our railway system needs improvement in almost all operational areas.

Once trains were considered as the best way to travel long routes. But this spot has been taken by the upgrading of road infrastructure of Pakistan. Anyhow Railway station is well settled and well managed with rail route to every city in Pakistan. Its is the major railway station in the whole division.

A large amount of cargo is exported from and imported into Faisalabad daily.

I wonder when I see Faisalabad Railway station and had thoughts about early 1950s that how English Sarkar build this nice stations as per most advanced system which we are having now a days. Alas! We could upgrade with the time. And when we see our overall developments in Railway sections. It seems like poor management system and no security measures. Everything is Allah tawakal...
