Nice shop. You can find plenty of electronics in there. Recommendation? Bring some headphones as the noise is incredibly high.
Lot of new products, Many knowledgeable and kind staffs, so I recommend this place! You can get 10% back by points which you can use them on the day! :)
A beautiful woman staff in stationery corner is very sincerely. Dont hesitate to ask her what you want to.
Pricey but negotiable. Pretty good selection but latest models are often slow to arrive.
You dont find it here, you wont find it anywhere. Even offers parking! Shopping haven.
Always recommended to go here every times back to Japan. Yodobashi Camera AKIBA with 8th floor selling anything Japan product that you searching for. Many tourist come here for shopping. My friends buy so many japan brand watch and bag with cheap price.Bring your Visa Card and you will get 15% discount. Tax free will applied when you buy product with nominal price is 5.000 yen, the staff will ask for your paspor for tax free receipt.
WOW! What an experience this place is. I think there is about 9 levels of shopping in this building and it has everything! The sheer size of this place is worth going to see. They have Toys, musical instruments, clothing, home and personal audio, home entertainment, sports equipment and probably a lot more that I didnt see.It is open from 10:30am to around 11pm each day so that gives you plenty of time to look around. The prices vary depending on the items you are looking at but for me it seems a little on the more expensive side of things compared to some of the smaller shops around.I found it very interesting (being from Australia) to see the differences in the products offered at this store. I have not seen (in Australia) a lot of the cool things they had in this store. I wish we could have access to some more variety like offered here. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful too. They would go out of their way to look for something for you or take you to a particular section or product.Something I found really useful was that you could go right into the Akihabara train station from the store! Pretty handy!
One place where you can buy, worldclass electronic products
There staff is very helpful and quick response. There items have very quality and reasonable price. What you want to buy this is the place.
Definitely I could do window shopping here for all day long. Their variety of electronic products especially for photography items must be the best in the world. They have also an excellent reward point service and you get 10% reward point which can be used at the next shopping which is ok to do on the same day. They also have a tax free service( 8%) but foreign customers need to choose either reward point or tax free....as of August 2019, reward point is better than tax feee. So if you don’t have a reward card, you should get it for free at the store. There are some English speaking workers.
Store is very big but not organized well. slow service
I GUARANTEE you can find it cheaper elsewhereYodobashi is basically a big box scam operation
Worth a visit. The floors with toys are a trip down memory lane. I loved the house supplies floors too. You can find plenty of tools for your apartment that you have probably never seen before.
When you want to buy some electronic stuffs, thiss the place with a bunch of discount campaign, too. You can find it right after leaving Akiba station.
This is a huge 8-floor shopping centre with 6 floors dedicated for electronic, camera, appliances, toys... and 2 floors for food & other stuffs. It’s right outside Akihabara station with lift access; the station also has luggage lockers (around 600-800 yen/day); so it’s super convenient. Camera & electronic stuffs are more expensive compared to BIC Camera or Amazon. Toys (level 6) are exceptional: huge collection of toys & models from Lego, Marvel, Disney, Bandai & other brands. Highly recommended.
You may find anything in this store. Not only electronic stuff, but also toys, stationery, and more. It is exciting and want to go here again someday.
Yodobashi-Akiba is the worlds biggest electronics store. No wonder it is the best place to buy the latest electronics, gadgets and toys if you are in Tokyo. It is located just outside JR Akihabara Station.Photos Sanjib Dutta
A huge electronic store. But you get everything there, not only elektronics. It is an adventure to go shopping there. So much to see.A must visit for tourists. The restaurants in the upperfloor are really good.
Amazing selection of all sorts of electronics but many other things as well, games, model kits, etc.
A must to go if you are looking to buy any electronics or just want to have a look around and do some testing. This place (or should I say a building on its own with 7/8 floors) is just outstanding in their selection of products. For tourists, this is a great place to get your stuff as you get 8% off for tax rebate (remember to bring your passport) and an additional 5% on the tax discounted price if you are paying by visa. The fujifilms x100f that I bought cost me $120/$150 cheaper if I were to buy it in Singapore. Service is alright but dont expect the sales people to speak fluent English. You have to be prepared to do your own research before coming here!
This place is heaven. As a photographer no other shop in the world I have visited has such a vast range of stock out on display to just try out. Want to take a few test shots with a 600mm f/4 lens? Sure, just mount your camera, its there on display to use. Amazing store.
Great place. They have huge selection of electronics items. Even more than Amazon. There are few message sofas at top floor which can be tried for few minutes to get relaxed after roaming around.
Everything you could ever possibly buy packed into one store!!! Definitely a sight worth experiencing while in Tokyo.
Easy to find, somany items, heaven for anime lover and medel kits lover, but pricy here, need to check on other store to
A lot of electronics to browse through, including cameras, laptops, and alike. They also have restaurants on the top floor.
Well worth a visit for its sheer size. Lots of robotics that are fun to see (virtually for any common house task). Big camera and multimedia sections. A bit difficult to ask any technical questions if you cannot speak Japanese.
Good place. Lots of thing to see and buy. Everything for fans of manga, tech, anime and games. I recommend a visit for yourself or a friend.
A place that you can find anything from electronics white goods, camera, TV, traveling goods, clothes, books, restaurants.I got from TV and rice cooker
A truly 1-stop centre for shopping in Tokyo, will come here each time I visited Japan, love it!!
Huge collection of everything. Almost everything. From fridge to phones, even books, camera, pc, tv, you name it, you can find it here. But, the price, while competitive, is not anywhere as cheap as some other place around is. They have a large collection, yes, but price can be a little too high compared to other places. I saw a Lenovo L340 gaming laptop for 1,81,000yen, which I got at 1,50,000 from Yamada-Labi, that too, including office. But if you want to have satisfaction for buying genuine items, this will be a place to go. Also, their member card has high rate of points system, so ultimately, it will be reasonable, given you are using your points.
Great products, friendly staff, a bit pricy
It’s huge. If you’re a fan of hifi music you can spend an entire day just trying out their crazy number of speakers, amps, and headphones. Stop by the massage chair section, they will mostly leave you alone because they know ain’t know foreigner going to drag a massage chair out of the country but they’ve got some futuristic models you should definitely try that will probably replace all human interaction in the future.
Yodabashi camera in akihabara have pretty much everything... The store is huge
I think it’s a really nice store. Easy to find. To be honest, I am giving five stars because the air con is so good and it’s really hot right now in August. I’ve actually never bought anything here. In all fairness, this is really just five stars for air condition since most stores around the area have good air con. Thank god for this technology.
Good, but dont trust their online stock-availability pages as they are woefully inaccurate and youll often get blank looks and head shakes when you ask for things the website says are available at a particular store.
One stop heaven for any electronics related goods. Most staff dont really speak English here so you better learn basic Japanese for doing transactions. For mobile phones, unlocked ones are sold for limited types; the rest, youre likely to be forced to stick with one of the operators.
Helpful and accomodating staff.Bought my phone here.A lot of choices from mobile devices to accessories.
For people passionate about technology, this place is like heaven. Everything can be found. Prices are good, but online shops are sometimes more competitive. Dont miss the last floor restaurants: definitely worth a visit!
Simply the best Yodobashi. Offers the most in terms of size
They have basically every thing and a huge selection. From brand bags to liquor to tv and camera gear
An impressive store with a staggering variety and quantity of technology and hobby goods. I was amazed to see the selection of model and train set props, PC case fans, toys, home electronics, books, stationery, music, games, and so much more. The store was fun to walk around, but the cheerful song they play over and over sure makes you nuts!
This store is awesome! Its so huge you could explore for hours. Theres something for everyone and it is definitely not just a camera store. They sell cute toys and collectables and massage chairs and more.
Heaven
The best Yodabashi Camera Ive ever been to. Heaven for a camera nerd! They have more than just camera stuff, but that was my focus. Massive range of tripods (about 100 different kinds), just about anything camera related imaginable - cards, straps, reflectors, ball heads, cleaning gear, lenses, camera, batteries, filters, bags...
Huge selection of electronics. It’s a must visit place for foreigners. The prices are similar to Canada, but with the tax free and visa discount it ends up a little cheaper. The main draw is the huge selection of electronics. The top floor has toys and games for kids, also a few picture worthy spots.(Star Wars)
Lots of brand-name selection and friendly bi-lingual staff, but it can be overpriced of you dont take part in their points program or other discounts.
Heaven for electronic lovers, has everything you can possibly think of, also having anime stuff, you can’t miss this place in Akihabala. I am so surprised to see how many people here shopping computer parts, consumer pc market is not good in other places in the world
If you dont find the electronic product you are looking for here, it doesnt exist. This place has everything and really good service.
Never a full moment in this building! Something for everyone!
Excellent place to come to for electronics. Prices were about the same or a little less than in the USA for various electronics (in late May 2018 anyway). They offer a discount for credit cards and for foreigners. Note it is a chain and they have branches in other cities too (e.g. if you need to return an item).
Great place for shopping anything electronic.
Exceptional service every time.
This is the PBTech of Japan hehe! Recommend it to all travelers & locals! :D
This is the ultimate store if you are into electronic gadgets. The range of things for sale is huge. An awesome experience even if you dont buy anything.
Staff was very friendly and professional. Clean and tidy. Smokers friendly. Food is cheap and tasty. I have them 4 stars because they didnt played fair. There was a table tax( small) Wich they kept hidden until we ordered!
You can buy anything anything you want here. Has so many varieties of electronics, computers and peripherals. Find the PCs and phones of almost all the companies and that too at reasonable prices. Camera lenses tv fridge washing machine and what not.
Processed negative (C-41) and reversal (E-6) 35mm film there, in spring-summer 2017. First test roll was fine. The next twelve (submitted on 2 different days) all had the first shot completely exposed in processing. Even though I discussed this with the staff when submitting the film, and they ensured me that such a phenomenon would not happen. And yes, I know how processing normally works, shot/processed >500 rolls of film.
Nice area to buy stuff especially overseas electronics stuffs
Purchased a Seiko 5 watch there, plenty of friendly staff serving us regarding the collection, while introducing other brands. Got a Japan made one with bargain price.
Awesome place. Best price for gundam !! Awesome and friendly staff. Everything is easy to find. 5400jpy and above gives you tax free if youre a tourist.A must visit if you are in akihabara for sure
You can find almost all the household electrical appliances here.
Unbelievable electronic store. If not Japanese, a must visit to see diverse universe of cool things from cell cases to kids toys you wont find back home. If your cell phone is unlocked you can purchase prepaid data SIM card for US$20 with 1GB
Great variety. Price average
Has an extensive selection of electronics. You could spend a day walking around the store. Ive seen better prices elsewhere though.
Very cool store with a wide selection of goods (electronics, toys, appliances, etc). We enjoyed getting to see this colorful, bright, somewhat loud store, which was very different than the tech stores we are used to back home.
As a tourist, this place was like magic. Floors filled with electronics at good prices. If you’re a electronics guy, this place is a must-see
The meals are bigger, but havent delicious flavour.
The biggest electronics/hobby store I visited I Japan. I thought some of the Bic Camera stores where big, but this is huge. It has everything you can think of. I got stuck in their very well sorted hobby department with hundreds of model vehicles and miniature town building supply. Just dont stay to long, or your head will go crazy with everything going on.
Its super big and has so many options of stuff its pretty amazing
If you are a shopping fan then this is this is the place to find something of anything : cameras, PC accessories, beauty - everything and so on. Just be careful : PCs come in Japanese as basic language, wont come w/ some programs widely available in other countries. Dont by cellphones : not only more expensive but they are tied and blocked to Japanese mobile companies. If you are looking for a quiet place, go to any other area. In weekends not only noise but very crowded.
Amazing place, you can find almost anything, technology and other nice things, i really love that you have chance to try things, in my case, fountain pens, i try a lot of them.
Great place for all types of gadgets
Huge selection and great deals. Staff we also very helpful.
Store is very huge, you will find range of electronic items mobile phones, latest gadgets, gaming consoles etc all under one roof... Centrally located just opposite to uomo station hence easily accessible.
Must must visit place for electronics lovers those are travelling to Japan.
You can spend ages in here. A good first store to go to in Akiba.
Dont be fooled by the size of this place. There are much better value deals at less imposing stores
6F!Crazy place!!Biggest tank, airplane, boats models and all kinds of basic equipment shop Ive ever seen! American, Soviet, Chinese, Japanese, Germany... if you play WOT, WOWS, WOW or any other games, youll love it!! And they have much more about many other models, COSPLAY goods, toys, video games, and all kinds of pleasure things you can imagine.Tiger, Pz IV, Leopard 2, M60, M1A2, T-34/85, SU-100, Challenger...Yamato, Myoko, Mogami, Shokaku, Tirpitz.....Many other WW2 fighters.....Youll NEVER get board,if you really know something about models or military histories!Best place for model and military fans to go in Akiba秋葉原!
Nice show for electronics. Its quite big.
Pick these two boxes up yesterday. If you have a passport you don’t have to pay sale tax.
It sells every modern thing invented by mankind. Once inside, you can easily get lost for 4 to 5 hours.
Good shop for high-techGames, Mobile phones, computers,
Good shopping mall for electronic goods. Many restuarants
The best place on earth. The access is not the best but the pure amount of items in stock and one of the best customer experience makes it a awesome place to shop for electronics. May be expensive for foreigners (due to currency exchange). I could probably spend a whole day and not have enough time to look at all the things.
If you need to buy any electronic items camera , laptop ,mobile phones , tv , headphones and ex.....Go to akihabara electronic city and you can buy anything from there.if you need any used mobiles phones you can’t buy from yodobashi akiba. But you can buy them shops from outside..
One of the biggest electronic store in Tokyo. The selection is simply huge, and the only issue is that you will get so tired at the end of it. Ah btw, the restaurants at top floor is also great with many selection.
Ready to get lost here with its maze like alleys of stuffs. Though it is essentially an electronic store, almost whatever you can think of, they have it here, whatever you cannot find, its perhaps you couldnt find it rather than they dont have it. Places like this makes online shopping an afterthought.
I am actually reviewing Hamakatsu. The tontaksu restaurant on 8F. The level with all the other restaurants. Tasty. Nice and crispy on the outside. Tender and succulent meat on the inside. You can get to grind your own sesame seeds too. I love doing that (I am such a sucker for these little kind of gimmicks). Paid JPY1100 for 1 pax. Did not really look through the electronics here. Oops.
A large selection of EVERYTHING! A short visit can quickly turn to hours of amazement with all the new tech gadgets, large selection of camera equipment and a whole floor of toys and games.
Many restaurants on the top floor and quite close at 22.30. Good for late dinner. Lot of electric equipments and good price.
This place blows your mind. The bright lights and the noise are the first thing you notice when you walk in. There are a ridiculous number of floors so just keep looking. The staff mostly speak reasonable English and will really go out of their way to help you out. Take your passport so you get the tax free discount.
Everything electronic under one roof. 8th floor also has great restaurant choices.
Lots of toys, cameras, phone gadgets and videogames, bring your wallet, because this place aint cheap.
