Unexpected excellent experience. The manager had already done us a favour by ordering some pieces of furniture from Asia for us. On the D day, we came too early to pick up the different packages but the staff was really courteous, diligent and extremely polite. They helped us load everything perfectly into our vehicle. We highly recommend this store located in Vernon, unfortunately 3 hours away from where we live.

Purchased a new couch and platform bed today, I think we had the best service possible. Kate was very helpful and offered us great insight to make our decision a little easier. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a while. Bought a brand new couch and day before the delivery the manager calls to inform us it was broken. Turns out they were giving us the broken floor model when we paid for a brand new couch. Sales person was confused and said it still was in stock and didn’t understand why it was switched. I called to talk to the manager and he was rude and upset I was complaining. “Thank you so much for your negative feedback. That’s great.” Wow. Don’t shop here.

My husband and I purchased five appliances plus love seat and tv. The service was wonderful and all the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. We had an issue with the TV, operator, not product, and City Furniture looked after it right away. Would highly recommend their products and the service makes the experience that much better.

We really wanted to enjoy our experience here as the store does have a great selection of stock. The sales staff tries really hard but, the disconnect seems to be in the sales closure. Once our furniture was delivered, 1 piece was incorrect, it took 2 visits to rectify the selection and in the end it was not the original piece we selected (my guess is warehouse picking error that they did not want to admit too). Our largest piece of the order had a flaw that was noticed during the first week home. A call to the manager concerning the first mistake / delivery wait time, was fixed but concerning this additional problem, a repair person was to come and see - 3 weeks out and no call or visit. Delivery times are odd as well - 10 days for 1 instock chair across town??

Need more Stars. 5 isnt enough. This store and Management is Awesome! Justin in particular is a Man of his Word.

Went in asked for help with a warranty, that I purchased when I bought my furniture, basically sluffed me off offering no help whatsoever, customer service is non existent.

Need a mortgage to afford anything in here lol. Not for old timers like me on a fixed income

When I ordered a sofa set I was delivered one with a big hole in the back of the couch. I showed it to the delivery persons and they told me that the sales person insisted that I get the display set. I refused the delivery and had to wait until I get a new set delivered. This should have never happened, I paid for new furniture, not used/damaged ones. This was my second and last purchase there.

We purchased a fridge here in 2017 and were talked in to buying the extended warranty. April 25, 2020 our fridge cut out, great, we bought extended warranty! Not so great... Keep in mind this is during the pandemic, so we have cut plenty of slack, but enough is enough. My husband called that day, and had a good response that things would be taken care of, but not until Monday as the repair company is closed. Didnt hear anything back, so Tuesday he calls and is told a different story, no one is repairing fridges right now and theyd have to talk to the manager about what could be done. Wednesday, he goes into the store after not hearing anything back and receives an apology about no response, but is again corrected that repairs are happening, but are backlogged. My husband received a small loaner fridge so that we could discontinue the use of our coolers with ice. Two weeks later, we still havent heard anything, so he calls to check and is told that now the repair is coming in to homes to repair as of Monday, and we would be first on the list... But thats not what we had been told two weeks ago. Another two weeks goes by, still no contact. He attempts to call the store 3 times over two days (June 4th & 8th) with no answer, or response to a message. He then finds the managers number on the website and leaves a message, with still no response.Two stars given only because we actually received a loaner fridge, after being ignored for 4 days and having to go into the store for any response. Terrible communication and still have a broken fridge sitting in our dining room.EDIT: We averaged 3 unreturned calls each time before we finally received a returned call. And 101 days later we finally got our replacement fridge... So grateful that we will never have to step foot in this store again!

I was looking for a dark brown side table. First went to Brick and one hour later came to City Furniture. I saw the SAME table I liked at Brick, it was about 40 cad cheaper! And it was not on sale or anth. So I bought it Also the staff member Robert was very helpful and kind.

Our fridge broke down last Monday. We had planned on going to City Furniture right off the bat, but that first night I stopped at a few places to see our in stock options. I visited 3 places, all had no stock in store, and the earliest delivery we could get was Thursday. Come Tuesday morning, I stopped in at CF and they had stock of everything in their showroom. On top of that, they gave me the number of a couple guys who might be able to get a fridge to us sooner as their trucks were all booked into the next week. Called Scott, and he was able to get the fridge to us THAT DAY! Long story short, thanks to City Furniture and Scott, we went from kaput fridge, to a new fridge (at a great price) in less than 24 hours. Cant thank everyone involved who helped us out enough (Jay, Justin, and Ryan)! Will definitely be back! (5 stars also to Scott! He was an absolute gem!)

I had been looking at a sleeper sectional on Wayfair that I thought was a pretty good deal. Owed it to myself to check out the pricing and much to my surprise, City Furniture had exactly what I was looking for and at a better price including delivery. I feel like I got a better quality couch too. Salesperson Kate was easy to deal with, very happy I went in!

Recently purchased a recliner from City Furniture and picked up in a box to find that it was broken and punctured and that the warehouse tried to fix the one leg by nail the piece back into the leg. Called the sales person and she ordered another chair that will apparently take three weeks...paid for chair in full and now have to wait 3 weeks....it is over a week and still have not heard from manager regarding the condition of this chair.

Bought a mattress a month ago but was not that comfortable and wanted to exchange it with extra firm one and the guy said have to pay for delivery and the difference which was never mentioned when the mattress was bought originally. Really disappointed. Now I am stuck with a mattress which I am never gonna use.

Fast, friendly and knowledgeable. I have 3 small children and we had a fridge die unexpectedly, city furniture made sure we got our new fridge ASAP. Other big box stores were going to take weeks & they recommended city furniture for quick delivery.

Very dark inside. Hard to tell what the color looks like in natural light. Their floor selection us pretty poor. The salespersons obviously work on commission as they are pretty pushy. Have heard from friends that the quality isnt the best.

My grandmother was charged a very high service fee for returning her mattresses after a trial. When she went to the store to complete the transaction (and look at other mattresses) she was charged another fee AGAIN on top of the previous fee because the manager insisted. Talk about taking advantage. I wish somebody had been with her. Shameful.

It was nice to be able to look around without being hassled by a typical salesperson. Very knowledgable staff. I actually had several different employees helping with my furniture making decisions. Couch and loveseat were in stock and delivered within days. They did let me pick up the chair with my truck on the same day because my wife couldnt wait! :) Great local business!

My son begs to go sit in the massage chairs every time we drive by. They never get upset with it. Maybe Ill end up with one for fathers day in 20 years.

Worst experience ever! Worst sales staff ever. Will never buy anything there again. The only reason I ended up purchasing anything was because they had the couch we really really really wanted and we couldnt find anything similar elsewhere. I got told a different price 4 different times, I got lied too, and pushed off like I was not important and they could care less about my sale. I talk poorly about this place to everyone I know looking to purchase appliances or furniture. I will never go back.
