Very beautiful place.
Occupied like other precious lands of Pakistan.
Good
A bueatifull landmark with amazing architecture design
The Darbar Mahal, and adjoining Nishat Mahal and Farrukh Mahal, are beautiful and majestic relics of the time of the Nawab of Bahawalpur but unfortunately only accessible if you have special permission from the armed forces. It is a shame since there is tremendous tourism potential. There are paintings and furniture from the time of the Nawab, and the gardens are well maintained. Closely examiner the lamp posts and other landscape items to fully appreciate the extent to which the architects went to provide grandeur. We went after sunset and the paper was beautifully lit, perhaps even lit too much. There is no sound and light show as mentioned by another reviewer (that is the Noor Mahal, which is publicly accessible).Just like Noor Mahal, this palace is also made by Nawab of Bahawalpur and now owned and managed by Pak Army. They have very beautifully managed the whole belongings of Nawabs. Once you entered in the Palace they have placed pictures of all Nawabs they have museums where weapons of the Nawabss army is displayed. I can not even describe the beauty of this Palace as words or pictures can not justify it.
Good place to hangout with friends
Good place
Nice architect
There are 4 palaces in this huge yard covered by a boundary wall, Nishat Palace, Farukh Palace, Barbar Palace & Gulzar Palace. There is also Sadiq Mosque in the area. You can only visit this area if you get permission from the army. The palaces are currently in army custody.
