This landmark really did catch your eye while traveling on the road.I saw it on the ist day i visited bahawalpur and couldnt stop myself from taking its pictures and having a close look.It do adds beauty to the historical heritage of the city.

Derawar Cannan is a gift from Nawab family.

Surprisingly historians of the city dont know the exact date of manufacturer. Just dubious intro written over it haha

A Great Treasure for Nation, installed on road side and everyone can enjoy watching the Cannon, Local administration made a good decision to put it in the city. Last winter someone picked the LED lights from this cannon, I felt really bad and just imagine what would other talks about this act. Pls behave

A more then 200 years cannon placed and a gift from Nawab Family to Bahawalpur . do remember its a 2nd gift to bahawalpur from nawab family after chowk fawara which is also one of the precious gift only 2 in world ..and that cannon was placed earlier in cholistan desert at qilla derawwer but now infront of sadiq dane school Bahawalpur .which also one of the best landmark and a historical school earlier it was and Sadiq Egerton college but later it has been converted to the sadiq dane school
