Bahawalpur Zoo is one of the largest Zoo of the country. It has a history of having a variety of animals eg: Lions, Tigers, Panthars, Elephants and Giraffe. But unfortunately most of the wild animals are not available. Parking fees is Rs 20 and Ticket to enter in the Zoo is Rs 6 only. There are navigations signs available at various places in the zoo for best navigation. The zoo currently have many species of birds, ducks, seagulls. It also has bears, lions, monkeys, and deers. The place is usually busy on weekends. School trips from the nearby areas also visit the Zoo, most of the time they visit from November to February when the weather is not very hot. You must have a face mask in order to enter in the zoo area due to Covid-19 virus. Its also advisable that not to gather in groups, social distancing should be followed in the zoo area. Animals are in good shape and Zoo area is neat and clean. It also has many trees and open spaces where one can go and relax and enjoy the nature and animals. It was a southing trip for me. Some renovation work is going on the main entrance and will be completed in a couple of months. If you ever visit Bahawalpur never miss the opportunity to visit the Zoo.
One of the best zoo I have visited. Good and open space for tigers, Lions and Beers and others. All animals in healthy condition. Different Variety and full of birds. Could be a better place if they maintain the grass land appropriately. TICKET IS ONLY 6Rs. They can easily increase the charges and work on improvements. Nice place for childrens day out.
Good place for picnic and family trip. Children enjoy there. A large number of animals are present there. Cafeteria and washrooms facility is available.
Alhamdolillah.Best place for refreshes the mindGood and nice place of the bahawalpur
One of the best public zoos in the country. A good learning place for animal loving kids.
Lack of animals....Issues of bad health of animals.....Are great matter of concern
It was good but having a little upgrade (under construction). Hopefully it will get a lot better in the future.
Bhawalpur zoo are so beautiful.every animal are present except a few.I am really enjoyed with his friend.
Good place to visit ... Ticket rate is RS 6 which is very cheap... Everything is fine but theres lack of animals like Elephant, Giraffe n other that should be in a zoo. There is Playland for kids... The place is good but administration should improve it ....
What beautiful place. The city of Nawab.Must visit bwp city at least once in your life.
Good place for outing..and only zoo in the area of Multan, Bahawalpur, and rahimyar khan Districts.

It was beautiful zooI enjoyed
Zoo is good but the sanitary conditions are not good
This zoo is amazing u must visit it
Though the place is not very well kept, the quality of animals up for display is far better than most metropolitan zoos in pakistan. Their lions are healthy and interactive. So are the black bears and monkeys.
Its a old Zoo of Pakistan good for recreational activities .. its condition and animal going down day by day .. government need to improve ..
Bahawalpur zoo is a beautiful place to spend your free time and joy with your buddies, youll find almost all the animals here
Not a good place to hang out. Not much real animals or birds. They placed the statues of many animals n birds in a room.Which were less knowledgeable and more depressive.I wont recommend this place to go out with family but you can take your kids their for their little enjoyment. The overall feel of the zoo was also not that good.
Bahawalpur is a big city but careem and uber services are not available
Very beautiful, please dont miss the lion cage... when the boy who provide food to the lions, call the lion Oy Rajay His response will be worth seeing.
Children love the place
Needs improvment.. But overall good place for entertainment of children..

Wonderful zoo with vast area and majority of Animals and Birds
The lion was very big animalThere was a meosiom
The place is good, ticket price is very reasonable, cleanliness is ok, needs lots of maintenance on regular basis.
Good place to visit for kids
Bahawalpur Zoo is a good recreational place for Kids. I visited this zoo twice and observed that people from the different part of the southern Punjab i.e. Multan, Bhawalnagar , Rahim Yar Khan and Sadiabad as well as local residents enjoy this place. I saw different schools students also visited here. Zoo fees is Rs. 4/- Kids and Rs. 6/- for adults. Interseting animals i.e. Loin, Monkey, Leapords Bears and etc. are always center focus of the visitors.
The place needs much improvement. Many of the animals are not in good condition. Staff running motor bikes on walkways creating traffic hazard to children. Disappointing. However, some of the staff members were guiding in a very good way. Really appreciate those people.
Really enjoyed visiting..
Because it is the only zoo in South Punjab. But there are very less animal and also the health of animal was not good. They were very weak by health.
No giraffe and no rinorosous6 rupees ticket for young4 rupees ticket for children
Somehow a good place to visit with children. It feels that the officials are not keen to take care of the animals. Seems that no good food is being provided to them, which is depicted from their health. Many animals are missing like there is no elephant, no hippo. There used to be a Kangaroo in the past which is also missing now a days. Renovation is going on due to which there is no cleanliness around.
Bahawalpur zoo was quite a good place some animals are newly added as compared to last year but there are many birds of same kind in different cages i dont got the reason for that anyway it is a good place to bring yours family and kids to spend a good time
I love this pepole
Its clean, green and has a variety of animals. Most of them are pheasants and peacocks. There are a good number of lions as well. There are no narrow sections so you wont get lost. :)
There is no Elephant Crocodile and most of the animals are absent from here
Bahawalpur zoo is a wonderful place and without elephant all animals are there.
Bahawalpur Zoo, established in 1942, is a 25-acre zoological garden in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. It is managed by the Government of Pakistan. The zoo has occasionally bred and supplied wild cats, such as Asiatic lions and Bengal tigers, to other zoos in the country.
Nice place to visit with kids
Awesome eye catching and remind you the love of nature
Zubairzahoor ch Qayom
A good Zoo in Bahawalpur
Memories. Lovely place
A best palce for kids special
Love the place but sadly it needs a lot of maintenance and new animals. The museum was in terrible shape, cages were very old, animals (carnivores) were in poor condition. In reality the condition of the zoo when i used to visit it back in 1990s was awesome as compared to its current state. I mean the last thing you want to see are pet cat breeds being kept in empty fox cages for amusement! For it to function properly either it needs to be privatized, or ticket fee needs to be raised from 6Rs to atleast 500 Rs or more funds must be secured from the government.
Completely inhumane treatment of animals. Take care of your lions, it is a disgrace how you treat them!
Best place in bahawalpur for visit
Just OK, only few animals. Earlier it was better.
Very beautiful place to visit
This is bhawalpur
Nice place for picnic and having fun with friends and family.
