Great selection of beef, chicken, and pork. I had them cut some picahna that turned out very delicious. Their sausage assortments were great. The bacon was thick cut and went well with the preformed steak burgers. Happy customer. Will return often to support the local business. Keep up the good work!

Went today for the first time. One staff member that was handling meat was not wearing a mask. Another one was wearing hers improperly with her nose sticking out. The place was crowded. The selection was ok, and the prices were comparable to a grocery store. I wasnt very impressed today, but may return sometime after the pandemic.

Heard about this place a while back, been looking for a Butcher. Needed just the point of a brisket and they cut one for me while waiting. Burnt ends turned out great. Decided to try a couple other items; jalepeno stuff chicken breast wrapped in bacon and stuffed mushroom tops. Turned out great. Also got their box special...will be a repeat customer. I decided to repackage the meat, out of the box, in freezer bags since I wouldnt be eating for a few days.

This shop is awesome!!! Always quality meat and nice staff. The only problem Ive had is the online prices dont always match the in-store prices.

Great meat selection. DO NOT TRY TO GET YOUR PROPANE HERE!!! Ive been to the Angier location and was only able to purchase propane once out of the five times Ive been. The owner or the chicken guy has to happen to be there to get propane filled because none of the other employees are certified to do so.... The meat selection is phenomenal though.

Tristan and his folks run a great shop. I love doing BBQ and this is my go to place for ingredients. I love that it is a Veteran Owned business as well. Cant wait for them to open the Cary location :) (A man can dream right)

Absolutely the best butcher shop around. We drive about 40 minutes to get there. We have NEVER been disappointed by any of the things we have purchased and its always such a great deal! Employees are knowledgeable and friendly. The store is always clean and unlike some butcher shops it does not smell like raw meat when you walk in (which for me is like the best thing!) Highly recommend! Definitely try one of their specialty burgers if you have the chance!!!

We love this place and tell everyone we know about it. My husband loves the steaks and sausages and the preseasoned meats are my fav! Discovering it during COVID times meant waiting in lines and it was always busy but it was worth the wait. We can’t wait to get a deep freezer to finally be able to enjoy some of their bulk buy specials!

It was my first time visiting this place. We heard they had tri-tip so we decided to drive the 53min just for the tri-tip. After browsing around and picking out some tri-tip we stumbled upon their garlic and herb pinwheels. We threw the pinwheels into a cast iron skillet that day and cooked those bad boys.. The garlic pinwheels were amazing and full of delicious flavor. Not chewy, just right. We marinated the tri-tip for 2 days and grilled it. My goodness, it was like seeing Jesus for the first time. Juicy and flavorful. We will continue to make the drive to this shop and hope to try more of their meats.

Best Butcher in the Raleigh area! I have always had a wonderful meal from anything I have bought from here. We usually buy a bunch and freeze so we dont run out. Well worth the trip! Even got a couple of our neighbors hooked on the place.

Just left after picking up the #3 freezer meat pack and stocking up on many other goodies for the month.We converted from Butcher Box to this local butcher and the quality and value is unmatched!Weekly specials cant be beat and the employees are friendly and helpful.All of this was about $125 after tax.

Everyone there at Carolina Butcher Shop have always been nice and always helpful. The meat here is beyond awesome. We are eating leftover steak for brunch. That is how good they are. We go every weekend to handle the weeks dinner menu. I recommend them highly.

Made my first visit yesterday and, after the 56 mile drive, was not disappointed. The meats are fresh and beautiful,, packaged locally, and sausage is made in house (try the jalapeño cheddar!) and prices are competitive. Staff is friendly and helpful and facilities are spotless. Carolina Butcher is the best and always worth the drive to get there. They are my go to place to get tri tip and their beer and pork products are top quality. They constantly run specials that allow you to try new cuts and stock up on staples. They also carry an extensive array of seasonings and sauces. Oh and did I mention the sausages!?! They are to die for I love the peach-bourbon-bbq and the Philly cheesesteak. I have lived hear 12 years and I am glad I finally have my butcher shop I can depend on.

This place stocks a variety of quality meats and seafood and often posts specials they run via social media so youre always in the know. Best prices per pound in the SE Raleigh area IMO. Only negative is their check out counter is typically turn and burn with lackluster southern pleasantries.

When we found this little gem in Angier about 5 months ago, I decided we would no longer purchase our meat from a grocery chain. We love supporting local! Eveytime I have come to the Carolina Butcher Shop the girls behind the counter are friendly and love to have a conversation. Every employee I have seen when we shop are hard working! I love that I can place customized orders and they have no problem with it being a little short notice. Unless it is a Sunday, after hours, or I have a meat emergency, the only place I will continue to go is here. Please keep up the great customer service, friendly faces, videos on Facebook and all around great meat options that always taste great. Our family will continue to shop and bring as many people to experience this great little gem of a place!!!!
