Newly opened property in the heart of the city . Loved everything about this place. Location is centralised but there is problem of parking . Lobby atmosphere makes u feel comfortable & rooms are good sized & cosy with refreshing amenities in the bathroom. As a food lover . I loved the food at Amritsar kitchen restaurant . Food served was delicious, staff was courteous ... overall a good experience .Few days back ordered food from Marriott on wheels . They took all the safety measures for the food delivery . special thanks to chef Hardik Narang for understanding our taste & quality of food .5 star experience of a 5 star hotel

Its the second hotel by Marriott in Amritsar. My children arranged a surprise party at the rooftop bar cum restaurant adjacent to swimming pool(Bars n Grill) which I believe is amongst the best in Amritsar. It provides excellent view of the whole city and creates a soothing ambiance. In addition to it, food was delicious right from snacks till main course and dessert, and was enjoyed and appreciated by all the guests. Butter chicken and Thai curry were really outstanding.Room was also comfortable with all amenities . I also enjoyed breakfast buffet as it had a good mix of all types of cuisine as expected from a Marriott brand!

As per rooms they were ok, but as per food, that was hygienecally good but taste wise pathetic. Although they are showing high security and best service in class but that is not the case. You will not feel satisfied as with other 3+ star rated hotels. Food is also costlier as compared to other same class hotels. So overall no value for money.

One of the best hotels in Amritsar; May be not be most luxurious in terms of facilities, but definitely one of the best in the area and more than covers for it by the hospitality.Moreover, just delicious food at the restaurant.The manager Vishal and his team were really helpful and undoubtedly, the best place to stay if you are a Marriott member

Hospitality was excellent. The staffs were very accommodating to requests. The rooms were very clean, restrooms were very clean and felt very safe during Covid times. The breakfast was good, but could have been better. We enjoyed our stay overall.

During this lockdown foodies are not ordering food from outside but I ordered food from Courtyard by Marriot. The delivery boy had mask and gloves when he gave the food to me. The food was well packed and it was hot when it was delivered. Every item was delicious and can be tried once when you get bored from your home food. I tried noodles, rice, paneer n truffle pastry. I stayed in this hotel for a night. I had a wonderful experience. The staff over there was very responsive. Proper care of sanitisation was taken care of. Rooms were provided with good speed wifi, AC and a flat screen tv. Hair dryers and bathing products were provied by the hotels. Toilets and rooms were very neat and clean. Facility of gym was also provided which for me was very necessary. I had a very good taste of cuisine of Amritsar. Hotel is situated in such location that it is easily accesible to various places like golden temple jallianwala bagh market and much more. Valet parking was a good facility provided by the hotel. For the breakfast buffet was arranged which had dishes for gym diets to casual eaters.So overall i had a very good experience and im quite impressed by the facility provided by them.

Good hotel. Heard that it started recently. Went to attend marriage there last week. The infrastructure is good with friendly staff. Good facilities.The food was good however the service was not good. There was a gap between breakfast and lunch and people became too hungry. Anything coming out of kitchen was getting finished within few seconds outside the kitchen gate.At lunch there were no breads and lot of people had to wait with there plates in hand.

Staff was less active in performing duties of serving and refilling of lunch during marriage ceremony

The property opened on December 6th and we stayed here on December 9th so everything is brand new.Booking process: This is the reason the review is not 5 star. I used points for booking and paid extra person charge (wasn’t clear till confirmation) and didn’t get breakfast options. If you are more than 2 people it’s better value to just pay cash as there’s better value overall.Property: photos included, typical Marriott Asian luxury feel. Fitness center is great and equipment is impressive. Location is about 15 minutes from Golden Temple and close to authentic food jointsService: Mr Manish in the fitness centre is amazing instructor and provided excellent training and guidance. Other staff is new so they are still learning and we had to repeat our room service requests to sometimes 2-3 people. Still people are super dedicated and responsive to requestsWill stay again when I am around Amritsar

A classy to place to visit in Amritsar. They serve Quality and Tasty Food and Desserts. The Ambience is amazing. Staff is very helpful and courteous. We were served Amritsari Kulcha and Makki ki Roti with Sarson ka Saag. The flavours were perfect. Hygiene and Cleanliness was well maintained.

We stayed for 2 nights. Had booked two rooms. The rooms though a bit small was nice and clean. The toilet was good. The bed was rather too soft. My son got backache after the first night. On our request to provide a mattress to be put on the floor the reception desk informed us that it was chargeable!! However, when we spoke to the Manager, it was resolved the next morning.The breakfast buffet is very good. They serve Kulchas on request. These are excellent but strangely one has to specifically ask for it.The travel desk could be more efficient. We had problems with car bookings.The hotel should consider providing bathroom slippers.The telephone in the room is a complicated machine. It was impossible to operate!!

Comfort stay and professional staf members.

An excellent hotel right in the center of the Amritsar City next to the Police Commissioners residence.Its a modern and new property. Food is of excellent quality and staffs are courteous.Esp Amanat and Nidhi from the front-desk ensured that we not only had a comfortable but also had a memorable stay.

I stayed in this hotel on first week of january the hotel is 5 star located near celebration mall the rooms were spacious with a sofa bed the ambience were attrative The gym was also nice but personsly i dont like the swimming pool i booked with two meal BF and dinner and they offer the wide spread of both the meals it doesnot excepted this in city like amritsar akthough all item were mouthlicious but i became die hard fan of makhi ki rooti and saaag u must try it i also thanks to the staff for their warm regards it is the best place to stay in amritsar

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff were very courteous and helpful. They will always greet you with a smile on the face. Room was amazing, spacious and clean. Breakfast in Amritsari Kitchen was amazing. Special mention for housekeeping Sanjit for making nice doll using towels.

Beautiful hotel with good ambience and Professional staff which was very attentive to the needs. The only glitch I faced was when I was at the restaurant ... ordered coffee and I was unable to get it even after an hour. I had to walk out without without coffee with no apologies from staff.

Brand new hotel i’ll give 5 STARS. All the personnel were welcoming, caring, proficient and just very nice. The hotel is amazing with a great location. The all the dinning which is Amritsar Kitchen top tier. All the food was wonderful; breakfast was great, dinner was outstanding and the PUNJABI cuisine SAAG was lovely. They took fabulous care of us during our 2 night stay. Great location near the Golden Temple. They gave us a great and memorable stay. Cant give enough good praises. keep it up!

We visited Amritsar for 2 days. We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard, Marriott. The staff was very courteous and hospitable. Shivam was very friendly and I am sure he would be an asset to any hotel he works for in the future. He is very nice person and Courtyard is a very comfortable place to stay at when in Amritsar.

Nice place for official and family stay

The hotel, despite being new, was just about average. Our room was untidy (particularly the bathroom which had a used brush thrown on the floor under the sink!). Despite complaining at the reception not much was done to change / clean the room. Breakfast was the usual spread, and the beds were very comfortable.

Had a decent stay. I wiuld not call it value for money though. The food and service was not up to the mark. Food served in their Bar and Grill was bland and stretchy, meat was served cold without thawing. The breakfast buffet has limited options and the servers are very rude. One especially, Mohit barged into the lune and started pouring tea even after seeing the customers standing.

Stay was great overall.The entire staff was very service oriented.Exceptional were Chef Antirudh Deshpande and his sous chef Hardik.They both took personal care of our food preferences and were wonderful.

I was visiting Amritsar and had to stay at the hotel as a guest from the 29th to the 31st of January 2020. With above par hospitality standards and the personal attention to each guest, I was already impressed by their hospitality standards.But, their real humane and godly care reflected when I was undergoing a personal ordeal. On the 30th night at around 2:30am I got a massive heart attack. I was a little unsure about what was happening to me at the start and being alone in the room I was thoroughly terrified. I tried fighting my physical condition for a while but it was too strong to bear. I at that moment contacted the hotel management and explained the situation. The help came immediately and I was escorted to the hospital. Since the attack was massive I had to undergo angioplasty immediately. Since, no blood relative of mine was present in Amritsar, and the situation was urgent it was Mr. Sharma and the hotel staff who acted as my immediate family and my angioplasty treatment was successful and finished even before my family arrived.The humane gesture and the benevolence reflecting from their approach towards me cant be repaid by me in any way. I owe my second life to them entirely.Even on my return to the hotel room. The attention by the chef and hotel staff made us truly feel as if it was a home away from home.Kudos to brand Marriott for setting such an inspiring humane standard.

Not too good for eating.had a worst experience.received different order against what was ordered.service too late. Quantity was less accordingly the prices are too high.i had seen too many 5star hotels but thus was the worst one .

It’s not meeting the 5 Star criteria at all . Stayed over Christmas Eve .The rooms have dirty bed covers , notified to staff as we secured rooms but the bedsheets got changed by midnightNo room heating -such a disappointment , for the price you pay to stay at the propertyFood served cold Twice , and as a gesture it was not charged to billAsked to wait for a cab arranged by the hotel for 5 mins which turned to 60 mins -as a gesture we are not billed.No baby changing facility at the reception , at the time of check out we have showed a way towards basement banquet to change the baby diaper in open - such a shameIt’s a new property however there are still work going on ... so don’t expect a sound proof stay

Excelllent what a fantastic new hotel!Was hesitant at first due to some negative reviews however each and every staff member tried out of their way to assist and go out of their way to please.The best was when I had reached the airport discovered I did not have my wallet with me and had forgotten it in my room, I immediately called the hotel and they called back and sent a driver with the wallet to me at the airport !At breakfast Hardik the chef came on both mornings to ensure we were happy with our food and ask whether there were any special requests.having enough free water bottles in the room was EXCELLENT!Thanks to the resption staff and Manish for bringing me my wallet!Keep up the good work!Thanks to all the staff , please keep up the great work

Very happy with our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Amritsar. All staff were very helpful and obligingRoom was of an excellent standard. Worthy of note was the superb breakfast and the staff who made it such a pleasant and enjoyable experience. In particular: Vikanshu and Kanupriya the waiters who served us were so helpful in making sure we had everything we wanted; my son loved the dosas and waffles that were freshly made by Dinesh and Deepanshu.Lastly the kitchen manager even packed some achhar for my wife to take home as it was so delicious.
