There is no proper cleaning being done in the rooms, closets and walls are full of dirt and damp. Even post reporting to the manager (Rajesh Sharma) there was no actiom taken. Blood stains on the bedsheets, lacking hygiene and poor service led to nightmare at the COVID-19 times.Also food was a pain which was the prime reason for the stay. First there was wrong commitment from the staff and then rude customer service from person (Sudeb) who had misbehaved without having the facts.Poor overall experience from the hotel staff.

Nice place, professional staff, good cleanliness, close to the golden temple and market.Rooms may feel small and not big enough, although very comfortable.Use Ola for visiting around. Local rickshaw may take you arround through longer routes to charge you extra. General rickshaw fare goes around 10 to 50 rupees not more.

This was my first stay in a property by Marriott and also my first visit in Amritsar that too in cold winter December of 2020 with the pandemic alert all around. Naturally i was kind of scared. But when I reached there starting from my requests to the hotel reception person Mr.Gagan who helped me set up a small surprise for my friend whose birthday we went to celebrate. Thank you so much. But it didnt stop there. We had our meals in the hotel restaurant Kava. The taste of the food was beyond good, it was fabulous, but what attracted me more was the decency of the staff and their nature to help the guests without even asking for it. Mr.Kahlon, the restaurant manager was always at his feet to feed his guests the best food. He suggested us items to try and I can tell you for sure that he wasnt boasting. The food were exceptionally delicious, specially the masala Kulcha. I specially want to thank you and your entire team from the bottom of my heart. You guys made our stay incredibly awesome. Generally I am not a very spic and span person, but thanks to the housekeeping people they even folded my used clothes neatly. I havent seen anyone else do it. The COVID 19 pandemic guidelines were always strictly followed. These small things made my stay totally peaceful and complete. Thank you all :)

Currently there is Rajasthani Food festival going on which is organized by Chef Lakshmi who came here from Rajasthan.Major Highlights of the rajasthani food fest at Kava Grill & Lounge, Fairfield by Marriot @fairfieldamr are Chicken Tikka Shorba, Mini Dal Kachori, Methi Chaman, Jodhpuri Mirchi vada, Dal Bajra Jungali Mass and Murg Shekhawati and Batti/Churma.My favorite item was Roasted Chicken Rajasthani style and Lal Mas dish.

Rooms are not so big but are loaded with modern amenities.KAVA RESTAURANT— Not very old property in Amritsar but in less time they are able to capture the heart of Amritsar people with their food , hospitality , service , ambience & supportive staff . I went with my friends for the lunch buffet . Loved the splendid spread of dishes in main course , variety of salads & breads .In dessert section .. either it is bakery item orr desi meetha ... u should try all ..Last night went here for Punjabi food festival.My experience was amazing . Look at the pictures of mouthwatering dishes from this festivalOct 2019 ... again went to enjoy their luscious Mediterranean food festival . Chef Maninder Singh has done justice with the international standards . The food was delicious & Mexican spread was just amazing.

The place is located around 3kms from Golden temple, you can easily get an auto/cab for 50-80 depending on no. Of passengers or by car its 10mins drive.The rooms are sanitized and clean for a hygiene stay after Covid, room size are not that big but enough to accommodate two people.Food review---Breakfast is good try their Amritsari kulcha with chole and curd, Chef-Dinesh in kitchen is ready to cook personalized food as well.I got the room on deal, average nightly price including GST is 2500.Worth a stay.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel for our short trip to Amritsar. From check in to check out everything was just so smooth because of the very courteous and helpful staff at the hotel. A nice property to be at when in Amritsar. Just across the Railway station on the GT road itself. Quite close to the city centre and not very far from the Golden Temple.Staff is courteous and property is well kept. Rooms are not too big but decent in size. Breakfast is decently good with a good variety of dishes in Indian as well as Continental cuisine.Reasonably priced rooms.

Brilliant location, warm & friendly staffs. Food is amazing at their Kava restaurant. Special mention to Chef Harpal Singh, who made our stay memorable with the best Amritsari cuisine. The best amritsari kulchas, machhli, sarson ka saag, pitte wali puris abd kulfa that we had in town.

Great hotel in Amritsar. Comfy rooms and beds. Good toiletries and room amenities including an electric kettle, tea, coffee, hand soap, lotion, dental kits, and more. Really great value.Breakfast that was included was incredible. Lots of options from Indian to Western. Along the buffet was also special order items that included Punjab specialties that were amazing. Highly recommend this hotel if it’s within your budget.

Seems like a new property management is good. Rooms are cozy and well equipped.Breakfast buffet is great has a wide range of options to choose from for everyone with live counters for some items they also serve complimentary cake on the day you check out that was a warm gesture. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Stayed here during my visit in Amritsar from the US. The hotel was clean, staff was great, and the breakfast was outstanding. It is in a very solid location near the center of Amritsar and nearly all attractions are no more than a 15min drive. We stayed here on New Years Eve and they also delivered a small treat of cookies to our room. Would definitely recommend this location if you are unsure of a place to stay- it is safe and I had no issues.

A very beautifully maintained property located right near the railway station. The rooms are a bit small in size, but are very well maintained. The food is top class and so is the service in the restaurant. There is also a beautiful pool where you can relax and oversee the entire city. I had requested the hotel to decorate our room as it was our anniversary and the staff surprised us with a cake as well. Overall, it is a great place if you are looking to relax and spend time with your loved ones.

We really enjoyed the hotel service. The staff was extremely hospitable and breakfast was amazing. We had the world’s best Chole Kulcha for breakfast.

We reached for breakfast buffet at around 10:45 am and buffet closes around 11:00 am. So it was quite rush for us to finish and order different menu items at once. Not a good experience quite selectively because of this reason. Although we liked the ambience and staff behaviour. We had masala dosa, chole kulcha, masala omelte, choclate waffle, medu wada with sambhar, orange juice, fruits.

I was staying in other hotel in Amritsar when last time we stay in this hotel was feeling some thing difference .this is also very nice hotel in aAmratsar food quality is very good nice room but slighley small good parking .

The biggest plus point of this hotel is its location! Right across the street from the railway station. Every major tourist attraction is 10 minutes away from the hotel (be it by cab or the local auto rides).The hotel is a bit disappointing though. Rooms are a tad bit too small. TV has very limited channels. You can hear the noise from adjacent room. Pool is not heated. But, to make up for it, the hotel staff is beyond amazing. I havent had such warm hospitality in any hotel by far. They are all very helpful and always on their toes to make your stay lovely. Everybody greets you with a warm satsriakal ji. They double check everything you ask or even casually mention. They go out of their way to make sure your needs are taken care of. I would totally book it again and stay there.Also, The food menu could be a little bit more elaborate (considering one is in punjab, one expects more delicacies and more variety in a hotel like Marriott). The preparations are very delicious though. You are tempted to take more than one helping everytime you dine :)One of the highlights of my stay was, when i went to get a drink, the guy behind the counter asked me what would i like to have. When he saw me thinking, he said Maam allow me to surprise you! and the drink he served was as lovely as his gesture was! Such little nothings make your stay memorable.

Not a bad hotel at all, I will definately stay there again. The real benefit is their in Hotel Restaurant. Their service is five stars and provide great meals. Ghanshyam, Sunil and Rashmi are their star employees, they are exceptional in every detail of their job, caring and professional. The room is like any other Fairfield but the washrooms require a ventilation fan otherwise the rooms are clean and cozy.

We visited Kava Grill and Lounge to celebrate my wifes birthday. We had awesome experience. Great food, chef made items on request which were not in menu. Our host Himanshu Rawat was excellant on his job. He was very courteous and engaged in interesting conversation. Best experience of Amritsar.

Being a supermax hotel, they are really friendly, can do anything for their guests, very cooperative and do not cross over rules and regulations, there is no disturbance from other guests. I loved the service. Best room is the suite, book bed and breakfast and enjoy the royal breakfast with independence to enjoy the local dhabas.

However, for well-lit, nicely furnished rooms and continental breakfast and valet services, most of the time, four-star hotels a high level of accommodation and service.

Courteus staff, decent rooms, Good amenities but rooms are a bit smaller in size compared to similar priced hotels.

Very well maintained hotel and very coporative staff.The breakfast spread is very good and the internet speed is amazingly fast. The swimming pool is also very well maintained. The location is great to commute from hotel to any other places in Amritsar. Golden temple is only 5 to 10 minutes away via any cab services.

With the Hotel right in the heart of City and so very near to Railway station, the stay with warm welcome of Shastria aakal right from Entrance till by all House keeping members made my stay so relaxing. Location of property is accessible to Golden Temple and almost all shopping areas including way towards airport. In room dining was also prompt and tasty food was served in our room during dinner time. House keeping was prompt and fast on requests. Check in was smooth and similar was check out. Indeed a must stay. My choice for all my next visits to Amritsar.

A very modern hotel in Amritsar. Clean and comfortable beds with rooms to match. A gym and outdoor swimming pool.Good service provided by the staff, all polite and friendly.You walk into the foyer where check in was quick. The elevators are to your left which take you to your floor.Here there seems to be a lot of corridors leading to your room. A few extra signs would be of great help as when you want to find the elevators to go to any other floor you can find yourself walking backwards and forwards in the corridors.The restaurant downstairs is situated in the central part of the hotel with many rooms overlooking the Restaurant as was our room. The restaurant is well presented, this is where you will have breakfast and your evening meal if you wish.We came down for breakfast the first morning with a good selection of food to choose from.We did notice that a dessert spoon and fork were provided but no knife or teaspoon? These two items were only provided on request. We mentioned to the staff that these two items should be provided too without having to ask each time? An example being when I ordered toast I had to ask for a knife to butter it. Again with the teaspoon when I ordered coffee I had to ask for a teaspoon.The next morning all cutlery we had mentioned were on all tables. Well done to them for listening.ALL in all we enjoyed our stay.

As a solo traveler, warm and sincere greetings are very much appreciated. From the front desk to the breakfast staff and even the low key bar staff were very sincerely friendly. It’s really very nice.

Love the service and the staff here. We spent 6 days here and by the end everyone knew us and chatted as if we were old friends. The rooms are big and have all the usual amenities for a international hotel. Pillows were terrible though (only complaint of the room). The buffet breakfast is great with lots of variety..they have a good vegetarian and non vegetarian selection with western n local options. Most importantly the food was safe to eat without fear of having tummy problems.. . The masala tea and coffee is good too and they even make hot rotis and tosai on request.. We had their buffet dinner twice as we couldnt be bothered looking for a restaurant after spending the whole day out - the food was great with a great variety of starters, mains and desert. We had no issues after eating their icecream either which was awesome as there is always a fear of eating anything cold in India. Their restaurant manager Mr Lovejeet Singh and the chef has done a wonderful job in the restaurant and honestly I would stay here again cos the food was great and safe to eat.

My stay at Fairfield Marriot Amritsar was terrible. This is the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. Room was stinking so bad and so was the toilets. Electric kettle was dirty and had bad smell. The linen and towels were all dirty. The management should visit room no 325 and check the dirty stink and take care of the environment. Visitors does not go their to fall sick. Your rooms need cross ventilation. On my request at the fest, they provided the room freshener which made worse.

Worst hotel service. Small rooms and air-conditioning not working in all rooms. Its a tiny hotel adjacent to a hospital. Even if you are a patient its not recommended. The rooms smell of achar and taps leak. Its a fairly new property. Lift takes ages to come to floors. Very poorly managed.

Excellent hotel, staff superb, food delicious. We moved hotels to this one and I’m so glad we did. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel driver was such a lovely gentleman, we gave him an almost impossible task to find a war memorial plaque in a village and he found it!!! Would highly recommend this hotel. Great location too.

I recently stayed on a special trip - first time to Golden Temple and to my Mothers birthplace (Gurdaspur). This was a very special trip with parents and family. We had three rooms. The hotel went out of their way to make our stay special, and accommodate our needs. I travel a lot, and am a Marriott member for many years. This stay was one of the most memorable ones, in part due to the fantastic hospitality of the hotel. I highly recommend.

Rooms are well furnished.. house keeping is good.. everything is fine except the food.. especially buffet.. i didnt like evn single dish they served. Waiters serving was too slow.. i asked waiter to bring a thing for me 3 times still atlast i had to go and get it..said he forgot... only good thing was desserts in buffet.. overall i would not recommend food on this hotel but yeah rooms are pretty good..
