First milk plant established in amritsar is now famous around the globe for their quality product. Verka produce every range of milk products from new born baby to old age adults. They have mass production of milk products to fulfill each and every need of the public. The 24 hour 7 days door to door supply of milk and milk products make it more trusty. Even there are multiple organisations for the same production comes in amritsar or Punjab but its not as simple for them to compete verka at any level of supply and production. The franchised verka booths also fulfill the basic daily need in every town and area fir dairy products.

Verka  Milk Plant, Amritsar was the first Milk Plant established in the Northern region.  The foundation stone of the plant was laid by the then Hon’l Chief Minister of Punjab, S. Partap Singh Kairon on 20th August, 1959.  The plant was inaugurated by Dr A.M Thomas, then Deputy Minister of Food u0026 Agriculture, Govt of India on 23rd March, 1963. The equipment of the plant was gifted by the United State of America, thus assisting and providing the Indian People with a more nutritious diet containing nature’s most perfect food.

The pioneer project in White revolution in Punjab by Milkfed. This was set us in cooperative sector and planned milk collection, chilling plants in collection area were set up. Finally milk processing to convert in Powdered Milk, butter and butter oil was done. Now VERKA is a brand for skimmed milk and pouch packing marketing distribution. Now has more than 50 milk products for sale alongwith in-house counters for public refreshment is main activity. Brought revolution in milk industry and dairy products in Punjab.

Great place to spent te on holiday or on Sunday with all the family specially with children , this plant is mainly dedicated to the area and provide all the milk items like milk , sweet lassi , ice creme, chhach, sweeten milk, kheer , paneer, dahi and on some specially occasions they also serve sweets like laddoo and patisa at there counter.

Recently I experienced that is to bad,, like I needed 7 kg cheese n 5 kg curd there was not available,, so had to wait for 30 minutes,, otherwise products are fine. But service is poor.

Packing is not proper i am supplier of verka milk i got many complains regarding packaging .Packet has very small holes in it

Just a place to relax while passing by and have nyc Verka products, kulfi, kheer, ilaichi milk etc. a small park with couple of swings.
