It has become a ritual in Amritsar ... if u r going out early morning either for walk orr cycling ... stopover at Giani tea stall is must . From ages they are serving best flavoured tea in Amritsar . They serve the best Kachori in Amritsar.. I love the taste of tangy chutney served with Kachori. Option of breakfast is there - omelette bread , samosa etc . If u visit this place early morning , you will see so many small benches lying on the roadside & people r enjoying tea & mini breakfast there .Subah ki chai orr Gupshup
One of the most popular places in Amritsar for its awesome Tea. But there are many things apart from the Tea, they are Kachodis, samosas and their chutneys. Though the place is little crowded at times but worth the visit. Most do points when you are in Amritsar and also it is on the main road so dont you worry about the transportation!
This is over hyped place due to its special frothy milk tea , many people will understand why I am giving 2 stars, this place got fame n number of costumers still interior n stairs are same from last many years even I got slipped in stairs, need to improvise. They serve chai, kachori, omlete and butter toast. I tasted chai its chai latte with froth on it. Follow hungarymotto_pb10 on zomato and Instagram for more details .
There is nothing like very famous over here, tea is jst normal , u can even make better tea at home.
I am Ashmeet Singh.Today we will talk with you about Giani Tea Stall.I went there with my brother at the morning time and the weather was cold and then we decided to have tea at Giani Tea Stall. Both of us loved the taste of the Tea .We also had snacks there it was also yummy ️.I wish everyone who read this review must have a visit there.Hope my review would be useful and helpful for all of you
Good place for a cup of Tea and some quick bites. Parking can be a problem as the place is located on a busy street. Park a little earlier and walk to the shop.
I tried 3 things which was Paisa-VasoolKachori which is different from normal kachoris, it was stuffed and so soft that it is easy to eat.Chai - The flavour was slightlg different from oryers andBread -Makhan - Taste is same like others but combo of this with chai is unbreakable.
A very good place for morning tea and feel fresh in the morning after a walk with your family and friends even anyone
Geat place to have tea even early morning after a walk
Packed at 5 in the Morning, Tea and kachori is one of the best combos of chai nashta.
Best Chai Stall in Amritsar. Its a must have for morning rituals.
I didnt find any thing gud now . Earlier quanlity of kachori, omlette and tea was gud but now they are charging much was bakwas kachori and tea
Tea is not tasty and rates are very high. Better tea you can get from small tea vendor
Tea was really good. Still, I felt it was highly over-priced.Not an absolute value for money
Amazing tea and bread butter. The chutney is to die for.
Best chai nd bread omlet...
Famous tea stall..Pure milk tasty tea..WithSoft Kachori filling high quality masala..Chatni..Note. Name is enough..
Cant compare to anyone...Fabulous taste of tea and omelette
Good but ask them to put less sugar ..
Tea taste is unmatched. Moreover snacks like samosa, Kachori, Bread Omlette, Gulab Jamun are simply delicious.
Great place for a cup of tea and a little munching early in the morning !
Love the tea here...snacks are good as well !!
Dont pay extra for special tea as its just hype... Taste has reduced from earlier time and now only if u have extra money then pay for it.
We went there specially for gulab jamun but it wasnt there
Must have chai kachori in morning. Kachori here is so soft and tasty.
Tea here is very good..must try other variety
Omelette is good..tea is awesome.. 80 rupees amul butter omelette and 20 rupees per cup tea
Good taste but bit pricy
Very good tea samosa and omlette
Very bad quality. Only exist for name only. Doesnt match up with amritsari thing.
Need to work on hygiene and ambience must try for tourists
Omg its expensive 70 for omlette and 30 for tea , really are u guys kidding me , omlette was normal and tea was alright.
Good place to have a tea. The variety of tea was available 1)Normal tea 20 rupees, 2)ilaichi tea 30 rupees, 3) Badami tea 50 rupees lot of celebrities and politicians have visited the place there picture is been posted in the shop. Tea as per my taste was ok. Not as per my expectations. If your are near by its a good option to visit for tea but not recommended if you are far away from the Giani tea stall
Good but food must have different varieties
Best tea stall in amritsar , must visit for early morning visit
Best Chai youll ever have.
Samosa and kachori are worth eating.. Tea is average
Tea is definitely nice, chaatni too. Rest is ok,.
Uniformally good taste but very expensive
Amazing badaam chai and bread butter toast. Must have samosa with special chuttney.
Amazing Tea n Kachori. Very authentic n flavourful tea with a kick. Flaky Kachori with a subtle flavoured filling inside. One must try
Yummy kachori awesome tea
Famous tea stall in Amritsar. Loved the Tea here. Bread Butter toast was bit expensive but it was filled with butter literally.Recommended if chai is love for you.
Not tasty now. Earlier it was
This place is not good in taste now like before
Loved it .. Early Morning is the best time to visit !!
Ok ok
Good place, great tea.
Vintage place of Amritsar. Must try. Special chai, kachori (early morning hrs) and samosa.
THIS PLACE IS COSTLY! Dont go by the look and feel of the place, it may look small tea shop serving simple pocket friendly quick bites. We ordered 1 Samosa, 2 Paneer Pakoda, 2 Bread Omelet and 2 Tea. The bill came Rs. 520. Everything else was fine but Bread Omelet was Rs. 80 per plate. The paneer pakora was good in taste and quantity and justified the 160 price.
Kachori is very tasty instead of tea
Trip to Amritsar is incomplete withqout having Badaam Pista Vali Chai At Giani Tea Stall, Amritsar. The tea is worth drooling. Its loaded With Milk Foam On Top & Lots Of Almonds n Elaichi !Also try their omelette, bread maska and their kachori. The food is delicious. You will find the place crowded but it is worth the wait.
Famous place in amritsar
Exceptional tea & Omlets
Come here for chai , bread toast & very very tasty kachori with green chatni
I had made a tea trail from Tamilnadu to Punjab after crossing and tasting many indian chais this Chai tops my list . This is the real indian chai and people call this golden chai of amristar. One who visits amristar needs to visit this place for breakfast . They also sell a spl kachori which cannot be described in words. They also has variety of egg to order. The owner is very warm and he explained me about his business which he runs for third generation .He also showed the photographs of state and central cabinet ministers who visits regularly for his shop.
Tea is my Fav. Here.. Must try
Good but not hygienic
Wonderful place for early morning breakfast , this shop is over 60years old. They open up at 5 am and close by 8pm but most of their special preparation including their kachori gets exhausted by 9-10 in the morning! They serve excellent tea ,pakodas and omelette!
Interesting Tea, Kachori & well made fluffy Bread Omelet. All of this costed around Rs.200. Cleanliness needs to be a lot better..Worth visiting though.
I visited because it was famous, but it was just plain taste. It is a simple and inexpensive place to have breakfast or tea.I order omelets and tea, but not much.
Really good quality tea
Great place. They have the special badam tea which is very tasty. A must to try . Along with tea they have samosas , bread butter, french toast , and special kachoris . I have not eaten such a tasty kachori . Must to try .But its worth mentioning that the staff here is very hardworking .
I have heard a lot about this place but was no where near my expectations...its overated, location is very unhygienic...Giving 50 rs for tea is not a big deal these days but one can expect atleast good taste but nothing like that happened in reality They have wide variety of breakfast items like Bread omelette, bread butter, samosa, kachori and teas ...We reached there at around 7 am and the place was already packed ,so we ordered Kachori, bread omelette and their very famous tea i.e badam pista chai ...1. Kachori-- it was tasty , crispy and served hot no doubt it was much better than other items....will taste again for sure 2. Bread omelette-- it was a normal plan omelette with no veggis .....taste was ok ok , didnt find anything new ..3. Badam pista chai-- very disappointed with this tea , firstly overpriced, taste was no where like a 50rs tea ...will not suggest anyone to try this Overall experience was average ,the only benefit is if u are reaching here in early morning then best place to hang out for a while Baki if u are looking for something called perfect tea to start a day then u are at wrong place2/5 for taste2/5 for location3/5 for staff
Sooperb kachori nd chutney served with it...i did not find such a tasty kachori in whole amritsar
Very expensive and bad service
Tasty samosa and tea but no hygiene.
The taste good of kachori and tea . At a reasonable price . Sitting arrangement was also good and comfortable. Must visit .
Super tea....brewed properly with sprinkles of badaam, pista and kesar.....kachauri was fluffy, crispy and filled with taste
We had the famous tea and kachori at the Giani Tea Stall. The place is crowded in the morning with the regulars and tourists alike. I liked the kachori better than the tea though, both priced at 25 each.
There speciality is ban maska and chai. Its amazing, one kind of a chai
You can get one of the best tea you have ever sipped here. One can try panner pakora, kachories, samosas, french toast or their hot selling bread omelette along with the tea. Tea is severed in a medium size glass which you wont see anywhere now a day. I will definitely give it a five star and a must visit place in Amritsar. Its a around 60 years old shop in the heart of city, the only drawback is that is on one way and no parking zone so be prepared to walk couple of steps.
Cup of tea is good nothing else .conjusted v small sitting place
Amazing Kachori and the badam(pista) wali chai was sooo refreshing.... Dont go by the look of the place, they serve the awesome breakfast. But the prices are on the higher side but still if youre in Amritsar this is a must try.
Best breakfast place while running and jogging
I liked the tea served here. The taste was unique. Snack items served along with tea was also tasty. but the employee doing it also have a good experience of making the tea..
Nothing but overrated place. Wasted my money dont visit here. You can find the same taste of tea at any other tea stall and it is also same with every other item available there.Rest is upto you.
Nice tea and delicious toasted butter bread. Dont miss this place. Get an oto/auto to come here. Not a posh place but you get the feel of the local environment and atmosphere in Amritsar. It is quite hygienic n safe to eat n drink tea here.
OK ok not that good as heard
The masala tea with badam and elaichi was so yummy. They give it to you in your car which makes it really special in these 34+ degree days. We also had a samosa with it, absolutely mouth watering. You have to have it!
Tea was made as per our requirements ( without sugar and lots of ginger). Very tasty and the quantity was good. Small and old place with good quality snacks and tea.
The best Tea stall in city. Must visit in Amritsar. Go for morning breakfast. Its awesome
This mini plate of paneer pakoda costed 150 rs... Can you believe it????They dont have a price card anywhere and are over charging customers... Beware!!!
Need more variety.Must try -Gulab Jamun
This place has a very nice service. Very famous in Amritsar. But a bit overpriced
Masala Tea is their speciality and we too loved the same
