Its really commendable that Taj hotel gave me exactly the overwhelming and memorable experience that I had expected. Loyal staff, nice decor, delicious food, comfortable rooms all prove your way of hospitality. Its indeed that this place is fully perfect to be designated as well managed and developed one

Service is good.. staff is good and polite.But the charges on cold drinks or sodas in mini fridge were 10 times higher than their actual price... I was expecting it to be free cuz they arent much expensive in market...

The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The hotel is very clean throughout, and room was spacious with everything that we needed. The staff was very polite and helpful, the location was very convenient for getting around and many activities. The hotel is situated near to numerous restaurants and a main supermarket. Dining room for breakfast was nice and pleasant. If we will travel again, we would definitely stay here again. Already recommended your hotel to few of our friends.

A big no noooThis hotel absolutely is an insult in the name of Taj legacy. The rooms are so tiny and their best available rooms are also as good as a size of a din. Please if you are coming for the experience of luxury then it’s not.

Why do you even ask? Its a Taj. Need anyone say anymore?? Get a grip Google. On a serious note, nothing can go wrong at a Taj. From service to stay to food, one can never go wrong with the Taj anywhere.

Worst experience, poor hospitality.!I have been to the other locations as well but this was way out of standards.I won’t recommend anyone to dine in here, There are lot of local places with good quality food and service.!Dont go after the name its poor in Amritsar.!

Overly expensive, not worth the price. I paid 9k a night only to be charged 200 Rs for a can of coke. I mean you can totally make these complimentary but you are trying to make as much money as possible even after charging so much. It could be a good choice for foreigners but not for Indians. I have enjoyed 3 stars more than this.

By far this is one of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Everything from the check-in process to the checkout was flawless. I had requested the hotel to decorate our room on occasion of our engagement anniversary, and boy did they surprise us with a wonderful decoration. (Special shout out to Mantej from the Housekeeping staff for taking such wonderful care of us) The property is lavish and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well-lit. They also have a pool and gym which has top-class equipment. The staff is extremely helpful and will go over and above to make sure that all requests are met.The only minor thing which could be improved upon was the dinner service, where they seemed to be understaffed and everyone was running around to service the requests.Overall, I would definitely want to visit this place again and spend some more time relaxing and enjoying the top class hospitality of Taj. Kudos to the staff and the management for such a good experience!

Went in for a la carte meal. Exceptional service - just as is expected of a Taj. Food was delicious, prepared fresh, and served tastefully. Highly recommend their Dahi Palak Kebabs and Amritsari Kulcha. And for desserts, do not miss out on their Tiramisu. Its best Ive had in India.

From check-in to check-out the staff ensures impeccable standards of customer care. Rooms are spacious and kept tidy. Hotel is around 8 Kms from the Golden Temple. 8 kms might sound less but given the traffic on the roads it might take you arnd 20-30 mns during rush hours. The buffet served is lavish and sumptuous. Fine Dining restaurant serves great food as well.

Wonderful 5star experience. Typical Taj Hofel. Wonderful rooms, with very nice lighting. Spacious and beautiful ambience. Spacious reception. Food is awesome especially fish cuisine. Neat clean and hygienic lavatories in public premises. Near to reception jewellery shop. Front of it we have bar counter. Two big meeting hall named Trinity. Small but clean with Crystal clear water swimming pool which is opened till 8pm. 24hrs gym facility is available with basic instruments. Jiva massage centre is worth to visit. I had great time here. More than enough parking space. Overall wonderful experience.

Tried Amritsari Fish and mangolian chicken. Fish was flavourless burnt during frying. magloian was full of flour.Tried LIT no taste.

When I entered in restaurant the sarangi player was playing a very melodious song. Which refresh mymood. The food was very yummy . magic in chef shibraam s hands. Me and my family came to Amritsar from Delhi to attend a social function at Taj Swarna, Amritsar.I was highly impressed with the first greet of the security person named Santokh Singh; who further referred to his senior named Vinay Kumar who was very Polite, Helpful, Professional and escorted us till the banquet hall when asked for the help.We have enjoyed our dinner at the banquet. The food was excellent and the staff was superb!We had a good time and enjoyed the services!!

Just awesome! Location is great, inside the city adjacent to medical college, trilium mall n Ranjit Avenue. From Security, Valet parking to reception, the staff is extremely courteous. Rooms are also good. I got a king size bed so it was very comfortable sleep even with little kids along. Restaurant is also good. Food is great and they have many things on live menu. Taj is taj of hotels in Amritsar .

The most luxurious hotel in amritsar but eventually not the best food in terms of taste .

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Very much lived up to the brand of Taj. Breakfast was amazingly delicious with great many varieties. Staff was very helpful and friendly. My mother got a bit sick so they let us have late checkout and were very caring. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy luxury experience!

A good hotel overall. Service from people like Kamlesh at the grand Trunk hotel made the stay pleasurableHowever there are a few areas which the hotel needs to improve on - the Chinese restaurant (good food) had very mediocre service where the waiter didnt know if they served any Cola drink. Similarly with the concierge for car bookings.It wasnt bad, but it wasnt seamless enough to warrant 5 stars. The teams did go out of their way to improve with each misstep

Our stay at Taj Swarna in Amritsar was most enjoyable. It is situated at a location which is central. The food, the hospitality and the service as well as the ambience of this hotel is extraordinarily good. Guests are taken care of exceptionally well. Right from the concierge, the reception desk, to the restaurant and room service: we were very happy with all aspects. What has left a mark on us is the utmost politeness, cordiality and keen desire to make the guests comfortable in every possible way. The personal attention and care that is extended to each guest is heartwarming to say the least.The food is great. The Hyderabadi food festival was on. There is a 24 hour restaurant as well as a Chinese restaurant and the patisserie which are all very good. Thanks for a wonderful time.

This place is a nightmare, and when you tell them that on a survey, their GM Jagat Singh calls you as a tick mark exercise and just confirms if the review was only on email survey or is it on Google. And they never call you again. I believe that tells you everything.

Highly recommended! The staff is very professional and always willing to take care of whatever you need. The quality of the food in the Grand Trunk and the Chinese Room are of superior quality and the tastes are exquisite. Our driver Ravi was outstanding! He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the area. Always smiling and always ready to take us wherever we wanted to go. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

I have stayed at taj hotel before and have had great experiences. However, after this trip I dont know that Ill ever be staying at one again . . . Surely not this one!!u2028u2028I decided to book a hotel so I could just relax... But the hotel management did not help!u2028u2028From the moment I checked in, it was one thing after another. When I made the reservation I specifically noted I would be checking in early. Well the front desk person seemed quite annoyed when I checked in around 1:00 PM. When I asked to be served by another employee or the manager he barked at me saying Im anosh kommar, the general bar manager. His attitude was very rude as if she had somewhere else to be and was being forced to work against her will. When I got to the room I noticed the internet would not connect. When I called down to the front desk the same angry rude manager answered, when I told her about my internet issue he again yelled at me saying the access code is welcome or guest figure it out!u2028u2028After I went back to my room I was even scared to ask for anything else. It was really the worst customer service I had ever received in my 40 years of life.u2028u2028In the morning I couldnt get back to sleep so I decided to head down to the breakfast .u2028Now, I appreciate that Taj offers free breakfast, but compared to others Ive stayed at, the food was quite terrible - already running out of stuff and food was all dried up at 7am.u2028u2028I was frustrated but Im not picky so I just decided to just ask the front desk if there was anyone servicing the breakfast bar and again it was the general bar manager anoj kommar. He responded saying he was short handed and that I would have to deal with it until he could leave the front desk! u2028u2028At this point, I decided to cut my losses and leave and I was out of there by 8:30am. What a waste of time and money!u2028u2028Im surprised the regional manager of the taj in Amritsar india is okay with this level of quality because this experience has definitely turned us off to booking with them in the future. IT is relly hard to belive that they hire such unprofesinal peoupel AS anoj kommar

Talking only about restaurant not hotel limited menu nothing special staff is not as good as it should be of this level . Good was ok not bad not good better options available around city if you want good food . Minty mango drink please don’t try
