I came there to order an electronic from dell websites, I called them twice after to follow up about finalizing my purchase and they told me the purchase is on the process. After 15 days I called them again and they told me day cannot conduct the purchase. I found their behavior irresponsible, I preferred even if they could not conduct the purchase they notify me sooner.

I would highly recommend setting up a virtual computer consultation. It was really helpful to actually chat with someone live. Ronit was super friendly and informative. He answered all my questions and he was even willing spend some extra time past my appointment to make sure all my question were addressed and presented me some additional information. He brought up several things to consider that I would have never thought of about making a device choice. Thanks for all the help!!

Rough customer service. I spoke with a helpful employee in the tech area about how my laptop isnt compatible with many blu-tooth mouses and they clarified that if it doesnt work I have a week to return it. So I bought it and it wasnt compatible, I went back and wanted to return it the next day. The staff the next day seemed very offended that I wanted to return it and suggested it was my laptops fault it didnt work and I couldnt return it. It seemed like the staff I encountered may have been just having a bad day.

Staffs are really kind and I feel like here as almighty place!

I thought the session was very helpful and thorough. I was continually asked if I had questions, but he ticked all the boxes in his presentation so there wasnt much of anything I needed extra information on. A lovely and helpful experience.

Convenient location and a great selection of products but sometimes the markup for basic school supplies is just too much. great place to go in a pinch but much smarter just to take the bus to walmart

Great for its convenient location, but make sure to compare prices on Amazon. Some products are a lil more expensive than theyd be otherwise.

I really like the book store selection wise. But the main issue is prices. I have found the same stuff at other stores for less. They do have the obscure books for classes that you could need. As well as some really good technology deals. The main downfall is that books are significantly more expensive here than amazon or another online service. But I will continue to stop in here to see the Iowa state university gear. It is a perk as a student being able to put books on your u bill to pay later!

The book store definitely has a great selection of clothes for Iowa State fans. College textbook prices aside, the website does tell you the prices of the books at various other retails, which I respect because it’s almost always cheaper somewhere other than from the book store. There is no sales tax, so buying something expensive like a laptop might be worth it.

We went in just to look around and kill some time during orientation when we spotted the computer station. Kong went above and beyond my expectations of a working college student. He explained in detail the pros and cons of each laptop and even explained how each laptop worked and how it would be working down the road. He really made making a laptop choice way easier than just going to bestbuy and having them sell you the most expensive one just to take your money. I definitely recommend coming here to hear a fellow student’s insight on products that you need, but are on the pricier side to help you make the right decision so you don’t waste your money on the wrong product.

Stopped in on a college visit. Every single employee greeted us with a smile and happy comment. We met students who were excited and engaging. They all wanted to know what my daughter was interested in studying, and how far we had traveled! The drive from State College, Pa (home of Penn State University) was worth the smiles we recieved in the book store. We look forward to decision day.

Workers are always kind and very helpful. Giving 4 stars because they always run out of books that I need for class at the beginning of the semester.

If you need something ISU this is the place to go. They have something everyone will love. I highly recommend renting books through them too because they will usually have the books you need for class or try there hardest to get it!

On campus, no sales tax for students, and can custom order supplies and computers to fit your needs. Perfect place to pickup tailgate merch for gameday and last minute school supplies.

Its ok but expensive. Friendly too much of ISU products to my opinion. Get the necessity there or you end up paying big bucks

I came in to look at an iPad today and the employee, dhahnya(?), was super helpful. She knew what was talking about and really helped me out.

Its the best to get a book quickly; however, it isnt that cheap so maybe you want to look out for the things that you need and compare prices.

They have some fun items but the prices are just too high for me. In addition the selection of ladies wear is not so great.

By far the strangest bookstore Ive ever been In. Went in to buy my nephew his texts. You are helped getting them and it was explained that this is because they disappear. Crazy. Trying to check out and theres a sign on what forms of payment they DONT accept. Makes me want to pay for my nephew to transfer where people are a little better behaved. Completely out of control.

Techcyte workers are nice but just not smart, supervisors and managers in particular. I think they don’t know much about what they are selling.

They have awesome items for reasonable prices. Everything I need for class was right in front of me I was able to get everything I needed there.

I had a wonderful experience buying my books. Although expensive, the ladies working there helped me find my books and even went out of their way to make sure I got the best price available. In one instance, they found a good deal after I had already left and came running after me to let me know. Sure enough, I got a refund and went with their suggestion. Amazing.

So strange being back in campus town for a visit. This place has doubled in size since the early 2000s. Nice tchotchkes make great gifts for any ISU fan.

Very helpful had everything we needed

I purchased a few small art supplies today during a very slow point in the day and upon paying, the cashier asked me if I needed a bag. I said no, because I had my backpack. She then rudely told me I needed to put them into my bag right there where she could see it. I asked her why and she told me it was so she knew I wasnt shoplifting. The store was almost empty. There was one person in line behind me, 3 cashiers and a manager watching me, and no merchandise between the myself and the door. I am extremely offended by my experience shopping here and will not be doing it again in the future if I can avoid it. The fact that were college students doesnt mean that you can degrade and take advantage of us. Youre already doing so with the outrageous tuition and textbook prices in this country. Have a little respect for your students before you make such policies. If shoplifting has been occurring, its on the shoulders of your staff to be more wary and watchful. Nowhere else would it be acceptable to be this rude to paying customers.

Everyone was extremely helpful. Everything is also overpriced, by it is a school book store. Though the fact that they offer rent textbooks is amazing. Though Id definitely advise going early before the semester starts

Massively big book store offering lots of things that students may need.

Was able to get books on order for fall term after registering for classes during new student orientation.

Doesnt let me return textbooks that clearly say on the cover for Iowa State University purchased from the book store, this is a special book specifically for Iowa State.

Overpriced. If you can find it anywhere else, buy it somewhere else, because it will be cheaper than here. They do have a lot of good selection but it comes at a price.

Decent selection of fictional books if you read for pleasure, but buying textbooks here is a scam. Some of the textbooks they sell you dont even have binding and you have to pay even more for the ones that do have it. Ridiculous!
