“That was the most enjoyable shopping experience I’ve had all season,” is what I told the store owners before I left the shop. It’s been many years since I’ve been in Randy’s shoes and I don’t know why I don’t visit more often! I was browsing Hoka One’s site and saw Randy’s was an authorized dealer.Prior to visiting Randy’s I stopped by Get Fit to find a pair of Altras to go trail running this weekend. The sales person there told me they don’t order in size 7 and the smallest trail shoes they had were a 9 and she would hate if I purchased them and they didn’t fit and I would have to return them? Ha I wouldn’t purchase a 9. Very strange they don’t purchase standard sizes for women...After leaving GetFit I remembered Hoka’s were at Randy’s and went right around the corner.As soon as I walked in I was greeted and taken to the Hoka section where I was helped to try on 2 pairs of trail shoes and a few others just because I have been eyeing them online. The sales person was very knowledgeable about the products. I also browsed the rest of the stock impressed by the low prices and availability of Minnetonka, Birkenstock, ofoos, and more. They had quite a sale section even though the prices were already lower than what I found online!Everyone was so friendly and helpful, I will definitely be back. Thank you guys so much!!! I will be able to trail run this weekend because of you!

Today was my first time in Randys Shoes and I was so impressed that I had already planned on leaving a 5 star review before I even left the store. Ive found that local Amarillo businesses operate in two different fashions- the employees are either extremely haughty or theyre extremely hospitable. Im pleased to say that everyone at Randys is the latter. I was assisted by four different employees during my visit and everyone was incredibly kind, fun, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were more than patient when I asked to try on five different pairs of shoes and I was even given tons of helpful information on different brands that would help with my severe foot pain.I got to walk out of the store wearing a new pair of shoes and the owner very kindly offered to order an out of stock shoe in my size because I loved it so much. I definitely spent quite a bit of money, but I spent $100 less than I would have if Id ordered the exact same thing from the brands website. So, I call that a good deal!I am very much looking forward to wearing these new shoes and am so thankful that Randys carries the Joya brand. If you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, I would 100% recommend swinging by Randys and picking up a pair of Joyas. They are the only retailer in Texas that carries them!Lastly, if youre the kind of person that honestly thinks you should be able to wear a pair of shoes for a few days and then get a refund because youve got a blister, SHOP AT WALMART. This is a small, locally owned business and the owner shouldnt have to eat the cost of YOUR mistake. When you buy a pair of shoes, you are taking the risk that you might have to endure some pain while breaking them in. Anyone with a pair of feet understands this. Just put a bandaid on and wait it out. OR take your time to wear the shoe around the store so youre positive you want to spend money on it.I can guarantee the owner would have no problem whatsoever refunding a defective shoe, something that was manufactured incorrectly. But most of the poor reviews on here are complaining about not getting a refund because the customer made the wrong decision... which seems to be a theme for the majority of humanity. Figure it out, people!If youre a realistic person, you will love your experience here!10/10 would recommend!

This is a very nice place...if you want to be pampered with trying on shoes this is the place to go. They do have a small selection that is discounted. But its really a retail store.

What a sincere pleasure it was to work with an old school business owner that was steeped in both knowledge and experience. Randy, the owner, ran a computer simulation on my feet and proscribed the proper arch correction and new shoes. I rarely get this level of service!

Both I and my husband went in a bought shoes and loved the service and the shoes went back the next day and bought 5 more pairs of shoes we r from out of town and would definitely come back next time we r in town . $250 for a pair of shoes - had issues after 2 weeks, went back they put inserts in to make them feel a little tighter - inserts were cheap, a few days later the shoes were too lose once again. At no point did they offer to refund my money or try to make things right, other than just putting cheap inserts in. Never again. Be VERY careful shopping here!

I have hesitated to spend the kind of money that it takes to get a really good walking shoe, but decided I just needed to bite the bullet and do it. My experience at Randys Shoes was wonderful! I have a very awkward foot size, and the sweet sales associate Emily took almost an hour with me to try and find a shoe that was comfortable and would give enough heel protection and arch support to get me walking again. Best customer service ever!

Adequately staffed, knowledgeable people here. Quality shoes, no rushing. They will bring mountains of shoe boxes, put the shoes on you, feel and assess you walking to be sure fit is proper. They are serious about shoes! Thanks!

Randys shoes is one of the friendliest, cleanest, and quality stores I have shopped at in a long, long time. My wife was looking to purchase some Birkenstock sandals and we noticed that Randys offered them. When we walked in we were greeted and treated like we owned the store. Randy the owner took care of us and you can tell that he takes great pride in what he does. The visit was great from top to bottom and I will refer all my friends in Amarillo to Randys. If youre looking for a place that provides goodole fashion customer service Randys Shoes is the place to go. I saw their ad on TV in Amarillo. In town for business one week each month. Last month i went in for a certain shoe. I left with some sandals the lady that helped me was nice. I wore the sandle once it gave me a blister on the top of my foot. So i tried again thinking maybe it needs be worked in. No, it did it again. So I CALLED after calling 10 different times....and the email on website dont work. I got ahold of a lady who i TOLD i wore the shoe twice what is their return policy?.. I had my receipt... She said sure bring them in we do that all the time...I took them in today and RUDE RANDY he says..im tired of people doing this .... This was my very first time dealing with that kind of behavior...i have been to the store one time...so how have i done this befpre? In the end he gave me store credit..i do not live here... So i know Vionics flats and i bought that one pair of shoes...i was coming to buy three... So in the end they returned the shoe, i paid them 23 bucks for the other...i was gonna buy more but being BIG JERKS IM NOT GIVING MY HARD EARNED MONEY...BOO TO RANDYS SHOES... Went in looking for shoes made in the U.S. The salesman told me the USA shoes were made in the U.S. When he went in the back to find my size, I noticed Made in China on the underside of the tongue. Also, the advertise the Hoka One shoes and pronounce the word one as the number. But, if they knew their priducts, they would know it is pronounced o nay.

This is were I get my shoes, old fashioned service with great knowledge and products.

I’m an amazon woman at nearly 6’ ft tall in her 20’s with big feet. It is incredibly hard to find shoes that fit, are stylish and quality made. My husband encouraged me to try Randy’s shoes after seeing an ad for their shoe size collection and being certified Birkenstock salesmen. Typically I order online due to the embarrassment and disappointment that comes with not being able to find shoes but agreed to go. The store was fairly busy, but we were helped right away. When I told the gentleman my shoe sizes and what I was looking for he immediately seemed unsure and I immediately felt like I was wasting my time. He goes to the back and pulls up every shoe that *might* fit, they all looked like escape convicts from glmour shots in the 80’s. I then see him talking to a woman at the stock entrance visibly unsure of what to say or do to help put shoes on my feet. So they turn to the Birkenstock sales booklet and return to me staying they don’t make shoes in my size and uneasily ask if I want to try on some men’s shoes. Why advertise stylish shoes in an array of sizes if you don’t carry them? Also, Birkenstocks do have UNISEX sizing. Embarrassed and wondering why I agreed to this torture, I try on men’s shoes because I needed sandals. When asking about trying on a smaller size the woman insisted these were how Birkenstocks are supposed to fit. Now I’m stuck with $110 shoes that are worn but way too big for my feet. I won’t be back for another embarrassing experience.
