Outdoor outlet mall. Best in spring, summer and fall. Quick trip in winter. Many empty storefronts right now which is sad. Stores are great. All have friendly staff, great value and restrooms are very clean. Easy interstate 80 access.

First time there and was surprised at the variety of stores/shops. It is an outside mall and it was pretty cold and windy the day we went, but plan on going back soon and definitely when it warms up!! Looks like a great place to wonder around and explore all the shop when the weather gets better.

Come here a few times a year to go to specific stores. I love that I can just go straight to the store everytime I come here. And never have been disappointed by three retail shops here either.

Outlet malls are the way to go during a pandemic. Its pretty easy to social distance while walking around outside and the stores are able to make sure everyone is wearing a mask before they go inside. Very safe and enjoyable experience.

Really nice the store selection is great. Only downside is its pretty cold during winter and this is an outdoor mall. Too cold to enjoy walking around and with covid you have to wait in line outside to get in stores.

Not a shopper. Wife liked it. Social distance is practiced and some stores had a line to get in to keep numbers in the store down. Not a long wait. Nice place and very clean. I did not have issue with any help in any of the stores. Friendly and informative sales staff. A little something for everybody. I checked out the hat and Jersey store.

Stopped into the store on 9/30/2020. Greeted by a nice young lady at the cash register. Other sales associates very pleasant. However we went to pay and a tall gentleman waited on us. I believe he was the manager. He was so rude and acted very impatient. Maybe he never has to lower him self to wait on customers but he sure needs more training on how to make customers feel welcome.

Favorite VF outlet is changing to mostly just jeans they had good womens clothing Im really disappointed in this

Nice place... Wish the chairs by the fire place were higher off the ground... I couldnt use them

Love this place. As long as it is not too cold you could even go in the winter as the stores are heated and there are fire pits in the middle of the walking paths with chairs around them so you can warm up.

I love Outlets of Des Moines. With social distancing you wait your turn outside, which is why I choose the outside mall. Except bath & body works. They insist that you wait in an empty store. My husband went inside and waited for me and they informed him that I wait inside or I cant go in. We did not wait. I feel that I was 100% disrespected by the staff.

Finally made it to the Outlets and so glad i went! Great stores with great prices! Wish it had more shade for 100 degree days but it didnt stop my shopping spree! Loved it!

First time shopping here. Really liked the stores. Everyone here had face mask on. All the shoppers and employees, so felt very safe. It was not too crowded at all either and we were there on Labor Day

Could be better. I like the open design, but having been to the one in minnesota, this one seems lackluster. It needs more stores, more eateries. I know this year has been rough on brick and mortar stores, but this one never seemed to get going from the start. I also dont think these stores are outlets at all, same pricing and merch as the normal stores.

This place is a joke. Everything is very pricey for it to be an OUTLET ! I dont see how people think they are getting such bargains but then I dont care about brand names they mean nothing to me.

Only reason I came here was to visit the Pepper Palace for hot sauces. Aside from that Im not a mask person. So this rating is technically for the Pepper Palace, not the outlet mall itself.

The Girls all 5, found clothing at low prices as well as a few books. Very nice public bathrooms- clean! Benches all around outside for tired shoppers.

Enjoyed time spent at the Outlet. Stores were clean and friendly.

Great bargains for 4th of July. It was very hot though, and this mall is open air. Shading overhead doesnt cover all of mall though.

Fantastic outlet mall with a great array of options. Picked up everything I was looking for in one area. Also, found a couple new stores that I enjoyed and may have spent too much time in them lol no shame. Definitely check this place out!

Just off I80. Truckers can park semis at Bass Pro parking lot, but, no overnight parking.

Besides the fact that we chose a rainy day and it was during covid 19 so some stores required mask, we all had a good visit and plan to return.

Very disappointed with the variety of shops. Most were closed or had long lines waiting to get into due to social distancing. Went there to look for some new running shoes and will not be back. Dont waste your time.

Its nice to be able to walk outside and browse through the stores you want to. Malls get to be claustrophobic so this is a nice change.

I love the outdoor feel of this outlet. If you go on a really nice day it’s perfect. There is a great variety of stores and great deals. Check out Le Creuset for some quality cookware, ASICS for your running shoes and of course Vera Bradley for everything you never knew you needed. Great location and great deals too!

Okay, its just an outlets mall, so its hard to get too excited about it. All the usual stores are there, and thats as it should be. But the one thing that sets this one above most of the others, is the abundance of nice comfortable seating spread throughout the mall. Im not a huge shopper, so the wife does the shopping and I do the hanging out. Hanging out on comfortable furniture is sure a lot nicer than not having a comfy place while waiting. Kudos to Outlets of Des Moines for providing comfortable seating areas. They also have a huge fireplace where people can warm up. On the day of my visit, it wasnt cold enough to be lit.

Slowly getting more shops and stores to open here. Facilities are great. Will be awesome when everything is full and the outlets are used to there full potential.

It’s getting there. It’s hard to give it a 5 star rating as not all the stores are leased yet. I think when there will be a better variety of stores and all the empty locations are occupied, this could definitely be a place to shop.

I love this mall. Its so close to my house, everyone is nice and polite. Awesome costumer service and super great deals on clothes in all stores !!

Special thanks to Derrick at the Nike store. He went above and beyond for us he knew his product and helped us find the best shoes to fit what I was looking for and Im very pleased with my purchases Ill be going back

It’s great to have a mall near by. Took the kids to see Santa and it was awesome! The person they have as Santa was amazing he was so good with the kids. They give you a free picture and a digital copy. Even though they were going to be going on a lunch break they stayed to let my kids take a picture. So sweet and amazing. The shops have some awesome deals as well. We will definitely be returning.

Like going to bath and body here and thats about the only place I go. Seems like its always windier walking inside from store to store. Lots rather do inside mall.

It was a really cool mall. Would have been better if it was in closed. Of course it wouldnt be an outlet mall it would be an inlet mall.

A nice, new outlet mall. There are still some vacant stores that will hopefully be filled soon. Definitely a store for anyone in the family.

Pretty cool place with tons of stores that you dont see in regular malls. Parking is also fairly close and convenient. It has a big outdoor fireplace in the center and everyone who works there seems friendly. My only complaint is that some items are clearly not marked down, so do some research before making a purchase. But you can find some good deals here if you look around.

My husband and I walked around for our health, but sadly did not find a store which sold a flavored coffee.

Prices not the good and poor selection. Not worth the trip. I can find better deals on line and not have to deal with traffic, cold or the waist of gas.

They require masks at the outlets. I was disappointed to see people without masks and no one enforcing it!!

Fun Mall. Wish it wasnt so cold out. Loved the Nike store and Gameday Outlet. The only downfall of the mall is Wilsons Leather sorry but it looks like a garage sale.

Variety of shops for everyone age,gender etc. Employees Iv countered have been amazingly friendly and help. Even though shopping in store when certain size or item was not there many stores tell you *you can order on-line* well I am not computer savvy and well not once have i had an employee frown at me but walk me through every detail.
