This was my first time at Rumps. I have always heard wonderful things so I decided to stop in and get a couple T-bone for the grill tonight. Those where without a doubt the best steaks I have ever had. From now on I will only be getting my meat from them. Im just mad that I didnt try them sooner!!

First of all,if you dont eat pork,the selection, here is limited.If you like sausage,this is the place to go.When you walk into Rumps,you are immediately welcomed by the wonderful smell of smoked meats. The staff was pleasant,and offered free samples of their meat sticks and jerkey. The jerkey was excellent but a bit spend$19.99#. They also sell wine and liquor,as well as some craft beer. If you are in to quality meat than Rumps is worth a stop.

Honestly, the aroma had me hooked as soon as I walked in. Selection looked great and prices werent out of line with store bought meat. The difference is youre actually getting quality meat for a very fair price at Rumps. The service was great and the staff were all friendly. The place looks and feels very clean too. I cant wait to try more of their meats!

Love rumps butcher shop the meat there is is so very delicious the steaks are always so tender and the beef stick and summer sausage wow the summer sausage is not all greasy like some nor is it dry either the pork chops and steaks are so juicy moist and so delicious and the crew working there are always very helpful and polite wonderful butcher shop everyone that reads this if you can you should give them a look its worth your time and money

I love this butcher shop and have been recommending it to friends and family since my first visit. I was so disappointed at my last visit that none of the employees were wearing masks, there was no system for helping shoppers avoid contact or maintain a safe distance from each other, and there were a lot of people in that very small shop. I cant in good conscience go back there while this pandemic is still spreading with increasing infections in Wisconsin. Ill return in a heartbeat if they implement some basic CDC recommended precautions, but wont be back until then.

My go to place! Great options and quality. Prices seem almost a bit more than other places, but Ill gladly pay more for the quality I receive. Definitely recommend

Literally all of it is delicious. If you start buying your meat here I guarantee youll never stop. Try the jalapeno burger patties!I saw another review saying if you dont eat pork theres not much for you here, as someone who doesnt eat pork, I disagree.Yes, they have a lot of pork products but theres a ton of other things to choose from.

This place has the best corned beef in town. Been going here for 3 years now and Rumps never disappoints. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good quality products.

Great service and top quality!

Called in an order for a pork tenderloin and brisket for Christmas. The call was a bit lengthy but I patiently listened while the owner discussed why he only carries the flat and not the point of the brisket even though I pretty quickly mentioned I was fine with either. He also discussed that they dont do things like tenderloin pinwheels which again I was fine with ,but listened patiently then handed him off to my wife so they could discuss what she wanted for a pork tenderloin.So a couple days later my wife goes in to pick up the meat. She calls me from outside the place and tells me how the staff was rude. I also hear that she spent almost $20/lb on the tenderloin so I told her to open up the package and see if they gave us beef tenderloin instead and found out they did give us beef tenderloin. She goes back in and talks to the owner to see about getting the pork tenderloin and he argues with her stating that he never makes mistakes and that we ordered beef tenderloin (sorry, but you are for sure wrong there!). Then he takes back the full order, including the Christmas brisket. My wife starts to cry from the abuse and he tries to give her $20 with the voided receipt to shut her up and send her on her way. Instead she took a picture to capture the moment for you.Thank you for doing your part to ruin Christmas grinch!

High quality shopping experience. Its a friendly, knowledgeable staff, and they are always willing to take the time to answer any questions. I have loved trying all the different meats and cheeses. Love the garlic sticks and their BBQ shredded chicken. Recommend to anyone looking for high quality.

This is the best butcher shop in the country. Priced at essentially the same as grocery stores, the food is perfectly fresh and the service is amazing. The interior is beautiful as well. If you go, get the beef jerky. Its fresh beef jerky, which sounds like an oxy-moron, but its not.

Awesome. This is not your average small town butcher. The store is very open, and offers an amazing selection. Everything tastes amazing, and is surprisingly inexpensive. I paid less here for better quality meat than I would have gotten at a grocery store. It was only my first visit, but I will be back for more.

We stopped at Rumps to get something besides chicken for supper. We decided on some thick pork chops. We grilled them, I was only going to eat half of mine for supper but it was so good I ate the whole thing!! Excellent quality!

Rumps is a great shop. The people know what they are doing and they provide a quality product. They have a wide selection of meats, cheeses, beer, wine, etc. The space itself is open, inviting, clean and overall comfortable to be in. Highly recommended!

Everything here is amazing. UPDATE: called a couple weeks ago to preorder some brats and dogs for a party. The guy I talked to was more than rude. I wasnt sure what flavors I wanted for the brats so I asked what was popluar. He said all of them. I said I was thinking something spicy what do you have. He said they have a bunch and I wasnt making this any easier. I had to beg just to have him rattle affordable a couple flavors. Then I wanted some sweet ones..... well the same rough short answers. Went in to pick up my order a couple days later and the same guy helped me. After picking out a few other things we went up to the register and on the way he made a point to show me the brat cooler and how many flavors they have. He than said that they make plenty of money and they dont need to mess around with customers that dont know what they want. Long story short this place has good meat but if you are looking for happy helpful people go somewhere else.
