What a treat this place is. Home cooked food with love and great ingredients. Loved the chap shuro and duodo. The owner of this little restaurant cooks the food herself and helps the customers in selecting the best thing. The service was amazing and the setup was nice and simple making the food the main attraction. A must visit place for anyone going karimabad hunza

True hidden gem! A must visit place whenever you are in hunza. Taste the local flavours and experience live cooking. It’s not a proper restaurant or cafe. Just a lady trying to give you an experience of local hunzai cuisine.I loved chap shoro and gir gir aalo the most. Attaching pictures

Best food in Hunza! The daudo was perfect in the chilly weather. The chap shuro were soo good. Unfortunately they ran out of the daal chawal which I really wanted to try. The owner/cook Lal Shehzadi is super courteous, sweet and very hard working. Would go again for sure.

This place was recommended to me by a close acquaintance (who’s a tour operator for this area so is quite aware of the different eateries here) and a very friendly shopkeeper based here in this market.Have to say I was very happy with the experience and would definitely visit again when next in town.Pros:1. Economically priced food2. Food was tasty and quite warm when served (ordered Chap Shuro and Burutz Berikutz and having those served hot in sub-zero temperatures in the evening was a treat for the taste buds and the soul)3. The ladies preparing the food were extremely friendly and sweet. Felt like I was being served a home cooked meal. Do ask them for their recommendations if in doubt about what to opt for.Cons:1. Seating area isn’t too fancy so for those of you who prefer a more luxurious setting, this may not be your cup of tea. However, I’d strongly urge you to try this place out. You shall not be disappointed

Lal Shahzadi is an amzing host. Tried Chap Shuro (Qeemay wala Nan), Girgir Alo (Dal Chawal) and Sultan Qoq. Food is of bland flavour. If you want to try a local authentic cuisine and connect with locals then visit is certainly recommended.
