David Nieper, I ordered a bed jacket for our Mother on November 29/11/20. My parents are both in a care home and this is a present from my Dad to our Mum. I do understand these are difficult times. However, having progressed chased twice I am told it is still in the finishing room, where it can remain for up to 14 days. The upshot is, i doubt it will be finished, let alone gift wrapped and delivered in time for Christmas, despite priority being given to gift boxed items. When will this be delivered and how do you intend to remedy this appauling situation?

I have bought a beautiful dressing gown and a tunic top from David Nieper; on separate orders, and received excellent service updates each time. The garments are flawless and a pleasure to wear. I want to buy wholly British garments, so this is a great place.

I recently ordered some summer pyjamas and a bed jacket. Iwas telephoned to say the seamstresses were currently making PPE and there would be a delay, was I willing to wait? this happened twice, but as there was no hurry I waited and have been rewarded with a beautifully made pair of pyjamas and bed jacket to match. All fitting perfectly! I have given only four stars as I have had to take the pyjama legs up as they were too long, a choice of leg lengths would be useful for the shorter amongst us!

My husband bought me a beautiful silk nightie a long time ago, a very special present. I wore it a few times and always kept it for special times. He died and 4 years later I have decided to wear this nightie as an everyday nightie. It has to be the most comfortable beautiful nightie ever. I have had several items from DN and customer service has been great, only one time was I waiting too long so I cancelled without a problem.One cotton nightie with long sleeves and cuffs was uncomfortable when sleeping, the cuffs rode up the arms and were too tight. I had to do a sewing alteration to enable the sleeves to fit better. A design fault, most people don`t sleep with arms straight down

Website not up to date on availability, patronising staff on the subsequent phonecall , who did not really seem to know why one would need an up to date website . Very unsatisfying experience .Pls improve bored telephone staff attitude and make sure website is up to date otherwise its useless.

I have just bought the most beautiful blue silk dress from David Nieper for my daughters wedding. It is beautifully made and fits perfectly, exactly what I was looking for. It is the first dress Ive bought from this company and I was very pleased with their excellent customer services and the up to date information they had on my order. You do have to wait a little longer than usual for the order if it is not in stock, as items are individually made, but the wait is well worth it! Thank you!

Dreadful customer service Do NOT bother ordering from this company. We have experienced possibly the worst service ever from a British company. Given one star as this appears to be lowest available.My husband ordered a £139 kaftan for me back in June from the summer catalogue - it arrived in August after a 6 week delay. As it was too big and too long I returned it and requested smaller size and shorter length - expecting it to arrive in time for holiday late September. This did not happen - my husband made 2 telephone calls and received 2 identical standard emails stating there was a delay - but no indication of time. It eventually arrived October 13 and was the wrong length!When I contacted customer service the response was quite frankly staggering:1. They never guarantee when an order will be delivered2. They do not state at time of ordering that item is out of stock - but they take your money.3. They will not ring you to discuss - in case partner answers the phone and spoils a surprise!4. They only keep paperwork for 4 weeks for data security This means if you request a size and it is delivered 6 weeks later and is wrong (this happened to me) they have no way of checking.Needless to say I returned the summer item and specified that my husband receive a telephone call to acknowledge return. This did happen and he has been sent full refund 4 months after initially ordering the garment. He has also now received 2 letters from 2 different people (one offering £20 credit off another item). We will not be purchasing any further overpriced items from this company.

LOVELY PRESENTATION AND MADE IN ENGLANDits nice to have things made in England and supporting British jobs. A couple of people have complained that things are overpriced - i dont think so if you bare this in mind. My only slight complaint is some of the styles are a little old fashioned - designed for elderly people. But ok there is still a market for these type of styles. However thats my only slight gripe. Beautiful materials and beautifully made

Very good clothes when you can get them!Last three orders cancelled (over an 18 month period) as goods shown on website for sale were not physically ready for dispatch and were subject to delay. At this stage very polite Nieper staff contact you by phone (at considerable cost to the company I should imagine) to encourage you to wait for an indefinite period or substitute the purchase(s). As in all my potential purchases nobody was able to providea definite delivery date the order s were cancelled.Very disappointing when trying to buy British made goods.Whist I award one star to the company in general I award zero stars to management who failed to even acknowledge two letters asking for comments let alone providing some explanation for the continuing practise of advertising items for sale on the web site which are not yet made.

I have spent half-an-hour trying to order a garment from you - with no success - your site claims I have an account with you and they will e.mail details, but have had no response. I love your clothes and would dearly like to purchase something for my summer wardrobe this year, but unless your website responds this is difficult as I am deaf and telephoning is very difficult.
