This place is great! Needed a new power supply unit to fit my new graphics card and the man at the shop was so helpful in giving me my options and talking through it. Very friendly as well. So handy to have a computer store you can still go into and buy a part on the spot!

Great place. Went in with a broken computer and they took no time taking it apart to figure out the cause of issue and fixing it on the spot. Was not afraid to tell me if an issue was my own fault which i really respect, came across as very genuine. Seemed to really care that i got a satisfying result.

Excellent customer service. Tracked down a monitor I was after and organised for it to be delivered to me in Melbourne within 2 days! Was very easy to deal with. Highly recommended!

Had an urgent repair on my desktop. Rather than book in a home service I decided to try GDWorld as it was looking like I’d have to replace the motherboard and didn’t want to risk waiting more days to get parts etc. I was also looking to upgrade my GPU for this gaming rig.Went and waited in front of the shop at 10am when they’re supposed to open. Waited and waited. I’d taken the morning off work to drop off the PC so couldn’t hang around all morning, especially given their opening time was already quite late at 10am.By 10:30am I couldn’t wait any longer so called a home repair service anyway and booked them in for the evening. As I hung up the phone after making the booking the GDWorld owners finally turned up and opened their shop. Told them they just lost the sale and I’d wasted my morning. (Couldn’t cancel the home service even if I wanted to as I’d be charged a cancellation fee.)Honestly this is exactly why it’s hard to find bricks and mortar repair shops for any type of product or service and why everyone just goes online. The vast majority of Australian small business owners have no concept of customer service or what they need to do to survive against online competitors.

Fair and reasonable. No pushy sales, frank discussion about my needs. Lots of products in shop not advertised on website

Thanks for fixing my computer so quickly! It wouldnt boot up on the day I needed it most. I told them how much I needed it so they fixed within a couple of hours and for a very reasonable price. Cheers :-)

Excellent service. Phoned up GD World and they had what I needed. Went in and picked up the HDD immediately no problems. That got me out of a pickle quickly. Thankyou.
