They are vigilant about COVID precautions. Found some clothes I really liked, but was unimpressed that you only have 48 hours to return items and the try on rooms are closed.

To the point...I found the Store Manager D to be rude from the onset. She was loud, apathetic and tactless. Not only towards the public, but infringing on the brand itself! J, it is about the brand, and how small things can add up for a bad rep on other campaigns. My suggestion would be to ease up on not bending those harsh directives. Get on a case by case and remember what that brand is about! Regards, Hemi

I stopped by for the first time while I waited for my wife at the doctor next door. I had found 2 hoodies for the camper, which I attempted to pay for. The rude cashier refused to sell me a hoodie lol because it had no tag, I told her just charge me accordingly I wasnt concerned about the price 5.99 was my 1st hoodie. I was told that it wasnt going to be sold to anyone, further I was told to just pick another one with a tag. My problem is that this is used donated clothing that is to be sold .Its time for a new business modelRegards

The staff is awesome there and the selection is not to bad either but the staff make it worth going to , prices are a bit high especially since cannibis was legalized so I think the ones pricing at the warehouse are having one little smoke break to many during the day but all in all its a great place

This place is an absolute joke - the staff are uneducated and EXTREMELY unprofessional. I went in and purchased a $3 candle and a $1 book, my purchase totalling $4. I paid with a prepaid Vanilla Visa giftcard (the kind you swipe to pay with) and had to sign for my purchase as I had to swipe my giftcard. The cashier asked me for ID which was no problem, as I assumed she wanted to match the signature to my ID. Again, no problem. The cashier proceeded to write down my license number, thats when I said that wasnt ok. The prepaid Vanilla Visa giftcard did NOT have my name on it anywhere, and I had already signed for my -let me remind you, MY FOUR DOLLAR purchase- and she had at that point already looked at my ID. She takes my ID away from me proceeded to tell me that it was store policy that she needed to take my license number.. not okay, completely illegal. She starts to yell and argue with me at the till. After she wrote it down and I immediately told her to scribble it out as I wasnt comfortable with that (could you imagine if someone found that receipt with my license on it in the garbage? Thats how identity theft happens - NOT OK) Anyway, she runs away from the till completely unattended mean while about 6 people behind me are left waiting in line, and they only have one till in this large store. She comes back and says that she can take my license number or refund me, I said ok fine refund me as youre not writing down my license number (even though she scribbled it out you could still read it). She proceeds to give me $4 cash, fine. I take my receipt mean while she still has my license written down sitting at her till. I asked to talk to the store manager who came out and proceeded to YELL in my face and SCREAM so that everyone in the store could hear what was going on, even though I was trying not to make a scene. She went on how it was store policy for them to take my license because I did a return (how this makes sense Im not sure, as the return came AFTER because she took my license initially) and how it was totally legal for them to do that, and when I argued that it was illegal she YELLED DONT GET INTO A LEGAL ARGUMENT WITH ME like please, take me to court over $4, absolutely absurd. The fact that this company is going around physically hand-writing down customers license numbers if they purchase by Visa (LET ME REMIND YOU, I PAID BY A VANILLA VISA PREPAID GIFTCARD - NOT A VISA) is completely wrong and downright UNACCEPTABLE. I completely understand if they have has issues with theft/fraud in the past, but I was NOT PURCHASING BY A CREDIT CARD. Even if I was, they still do not have the right to take my license. They can look at my ID and make sure my signature matches, thats it. Please do not support this store. Absolutely unacceptable.

This store must not be part of the main chain. I went there today because it was a sale day, but there was no sale at this store. There prices even seemed a little higher than the one I normally go to.

Tried to donate a bunch of stuff, like brand new flip flops (6 pairs in package), and brand new toy swords in packaging, and high-vis vests and t shirts in mint condition and she turned it down with a terrible attitude saying we are just unloading our garbage. Wow, talk about ungrateful. I will never support Salvation Army again.

Pretty small location and prices seemed overly high to me. Could be different on other days. I prefer the Abbotsford store, but the location right by the bus stop was convenient.

Large selection of donated items and a helpful staff leave the Salvation Army being a great place for both those giving away something old, and those looking for something new. One mans trash is certainly anothers treasure here!
