I love this place, have others like it at home that has pretty much the same things for sale and at a less price tag but the fishing gear I was seeking was at an unbelievable price, so I did what any normal person would do... I leftNot really, I stocked up, have not seen prices like this on fly fishing gear EVER!! S I will definitely be back to get more on my way back home, but lots to see and buy, wish we had one in my hometown. Its always worth a shot to look and see if you just might get lucky and find the stuff you want at an unbelievable price, I Did!

Got lucky, walked in today only one guy in line. Sales guy Dustin was on the phone looking up something for a customer. Guy in front didn’t like wait 5 minutes so he wailed away. Win for me because Dustin finished Then turned & looked at me. I said rough day? He laughed “It can be” ask what can he do for me? He was able to help me with selection process, but the gun I wanted wasn’t available. Instead of trying to sell me on something I didn’t need he gave me information on how to order on line then pick up at store.I told Dustin I was also interested in a semiautomatic shotgun which after 15 min we had the M12AK as my gun of choice. Dustin showed great patience & customer service skills in my purchase. He made the background check smooth & easy.Key to things I saw:Sales people are busy, so choose the time of day carefullyAmmo sales are through the roof, so they are mostly sold out.When the line started backing up due to Dustin spending time with me. Three sales clerks came up to help out.

I really like this store, their in inventory and services they offer. My only criticism is they can improve on their Customer Service. I like being approached, offered assistance and provided recommendation and that doesnt always happen when I visit this location.

The sales person was very helpful in answering my questions related to handguns and ammo. The available supply for both were really low so I very encouraged by gathering information.The store was organized and clean despite being rather busy.

Will NEVER buy a gun here again! Unfortunately some people get “delayed” when purchasing firearms, most local shops will release after the 3 day wait but not here. Bought a youth rifle to start teaching my daughter and was hoping to have her unwrap it for Christmas but with sportsmans policies, she may not see it till next month! Don’t waste your time BUY LOCAL!UpdateProblem solved, got my money back and now going to my local guys on 4th st where I should have gone in the first place. KEEP IT LOCAL

This is one of the better outfitters in Albuquerque and they definitely have the most extensive knife collection you can ask for. Even more so than Cabelas. Cabelas still has more stuff but its also more expensive as well. And the staff here is far more helpful.

Do not order online. They say they have products and when you go pick up they dont have it. Especially frustrating when you drive in from out of town and stood in line for over 45 minutes. They charge your account immediately when you order but if you cancel it takes 10 days for a refund. Impossible to talk with a management.

I always find something to buy here but the ammo shortage is driving me crazy. I know its not SWs fault but Id like to know when this problem is going to be solved.

I had previously purchased two fire arms from this location. Both transactions were pretty easy straight forward. This time was different. Im not sure what changed. Staff, management or both. Not the same spirit of assistance and definitely lacked the customer service aspect of doing business with a company that wouldnt be anything without their customers. I was treated with disrespect and the friend I brought was turned off immediately from doing business here. I understand that gun laws can be difficult and or confusing to navigate.but if you work in firearm retail sales you should be aware of what the laws are in your location. Also how to instruct your customers to do business when purchasing a firearm. I admit I do not know the intricacies of gun law in New Mexico. But obviously the staff here doesnt either. I dont get paid to know but they do. Secondly they are short, condescending and the opposite of accommodating. I wont return. I know my friend I brought wont either. There are many other options in town. I will be using one of those.

Its a very nice store. With the pandemic, they are out of certain things, i.e. ammunition, reloading supplies, and certain camping supplies.They have clothes and shoes, but they are priced a bit high in my opinion. We didnt buy anything.

First time Ive been on n there didnt even know it was too there, but I tell you it lives up to its name,Ill be back fhosho!

One of my favorite stores to purchase fishing and hunting gear. Now due to COVID the store doesnt have much on the shelves but you can purchase online and have it shipped to store free.

They dont leave you alone staff follows you around like your doing something wrong!! I spend alot of money their on a month basis but not going their anymore!!!!!!

The shoe department here is amazing. They help you quickly and the lady there was able to handle 4 customers at once without problem, without a line preventing you from getting near the shoes, without yelling at you for getting too close to the shoes all as REI does. Keep up the awesome work

If I could I would give this place 0 stars. Their inventory is all off so when you shop online, the website states In Stock. Pick up in store today Yet when you arrive to pick up your order they state sorry it takes 3-5 business days for the pick up order to be ready. Also they didnt wven have the items I ordered in stock as the website stated they did.Moreover, their selection and available stock is skimpy at best and it looks like the store is pretty much going out of business. This store most likely will be going out of business if they continue to operate like this. I will just stick to Cabelas from now on. They are much more reliable and dont have false information listed on the website. Good luck Sportsman Warehouse. Youre gonna need it.

Worse experience EVER purchasing a firearm. I DO NOT recommend shopping here. I ordered an AR-15 and the background was delayed. I was told that they’d call me. They did not call me and after waiting in line for 2 hours come to find out they sold the rifle from right under me. They would not make it right. Horrible customer service and attitude. I would give Zero stars if I could. Very awful place to purchase a firearm. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

0 starts if I could. Gun counter has the worst customer service ever absolutely unacceptable especially when dealing with firearms. Bunch of kids that look angsty and angry, oh also they are beyond rude. 2-3 hour waits and never staffed. Came here cause my local FFL is out of business, never ever ever ever ever again absolute trash.

Worst gun purchasing experience ever!! Spent 2 hours waiting in line to pick up a gun I ordered from their website. Never again. When we finally got to the front of the line and the employee was very rude. Nothing was fun or pleasurable about this expensive purchase. I will never go there again. If anything, I felt embarrassed for the whole store. What a joke.

Kind of like a less expensive / less extensive Cabelas. Prices are generally better, really nice clothing. Great stuff for outdoor just about everything. Love looking at all the outdoor cooking and smoking stuff.

Stay away from the firearms department! Waiting in line for an hour while sales people are waiting on background checks for other customers...they are sitting around chatting with each other while tons of customers are waiting....this is ridiculous! Will never buy a firearm from them again! No customer service at all! 5 guys behind the counter and only 2 helping customers!

I called today to ask if this store was open and the man on the other end said yes. I happily told him thats great! He gruffly told me that if I didnt have a mask I wasnt getting in. I hadnt even mentioned a mask, and why the need to be so rude? My husband and I happily took our money and our masks to Cabellas.

I went in here for the first time a month ago looking for a rifle bag. I found one that I enjoy for sure. I wandered around the store for quite a while looking at different things. They have a pretty awesome selection of outdoors and camping stuff but as is with any big box store, prices are crazy.

Sportsmans Warehouse is a joke! None of their clerks know where anything is. Their Online sales are misleading & their customer service is pathetic. You order something online that indicates, IN STOCK, when it isnt. BUT, when you call & ask for details, they blame their system, and wash their hands of the issue. DO NOT SHOP AT SPORTSMANs WAREHOUSE, until they update their cheap inventory systems & actually hire employees that have an IQ higher than 30!

The staff was rude and unattentive to us as customers, the store was way short on employees on the day (it was a saturday afternoon by the way) we came to check out the store for the first time...i feel as if my fiance and i were negatively judged by our appearance and that judgement affected how we were treated as customers.

Never have anything in stock! I have been there about 5 times in the last 2 months with a sales flyer hoping to get some items. But they never have most of the items.

Went in to buy ammo and sign said 2 boxes per caliber per person, but would only sell one box per person. Rude sales person and poor service. Ripped sign off register in front of my face when I confronted about the signage. Will never go back here.

Went in to pick up a firearm I ordered online, was quick and easy. Customer service was great.

They advertise curbside pickup but after waiting on the phone for 10 minutes for somebody to pickup in customer service they tell me I have to go in the store to get something I already paid for. While they have a line of 20 people outside I just dont understand why they would advertise this option if they dont actually do it. What a waste of time.

Its bare!! Barely any products/merchandise! Had a gift card Id been waiting to use for the only thing I wanted there & no one knew about it much less had it in stock. Doggie wet wipes for the fur & thats the only place Ive ever found it & they are oblivious to its existence! Used to be a favorite place. Also, no associates seemed to be around to help.

They were very low on stock, as in bare shelves. I was able to get some of the things I wanted, but they didnt have the main items I was shopping for.

This was a great store at one time. Went to buy some bulletts on the shelf the said 11.99 went to the register and the price me over 100 dollars for the 3 boxes of 20 bulletts. She called a gentleman over to assist as my wife stayed at the register, I followed the associate to the shelf and when he got there he moved all of the boxes to a different price point. He came back to the register and said that my was was wrong and that the price was 38.99.I confronted him and he said he didnt move the bulletts to a different price point. I have always shopped there all my needs but with associate with no kind of integrity I rather go else where.

They dont have any bullets. But its still a great store.

Now that Cabelas took a hit thanks to Covid, my father and I have started shopping here lately.Far better pricing, shelves were fully stocked, customers and employees were exercising proper social distancing and sanitation.

Nothing but great experiences here. All the staff have been so nice and helpful every time Im there. Their prices are great for quality products. Ive been many times and will continue seeing this is a default place for many things I need.

I dont shop here too often because online shopping has gotten so easy but I can here on black Friday and surprisingly despite all their great deals and the number of people in the store, we were helped reasonably quickly with a handgun selection and purchase. The whole process was smooth and the associate was helpful. Im sure well be back again!

Employees were very rude couldnt get service for anything waited for 2 and 1/2 hours to get up to the counter to be ignored for another half hour to be turned away at 9 because we cant do any more background checks. Placed an order and after receiving the email with the order number, tried looking up the status for several days and order could not be found. After waiting for another 2 days for someone to return my call was advised that the item was over sold and not processed. I assumed the order was cancelled as the representative stated and went online elsewhere to purchase the item. Almost 3 weeks later i randomly receive a email that my item has shipped and my bank account recharged for the item. Will never use this place again and item will be returned. Customer service is horrible and unreliable information.

This place is ok I guess. A lot cheaper than REI for sure. I purchased these Merrell sandles. Thinking they would be Great to wear BUT two days in. Not so much. They Hurt my feet. The Top of my feet hurt. Even my Calves. For sure I will be taking them back. Also Im apart of their rewards system but never received one email or a coupon. Whats the point I guess.

Awesome place that has huge selection.Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had been looking for some boots tried several places in town and found the boots and more for a very resemble price at Sportsman.

I like stores like this, there are lots of things even just to look. Similar to Cabelas. There you can find everything for hunting, fishing, hiking and other stuff.

Good selections and helpful staff are the positives in my book.To earn a 5th star, however, I would need to see a better organized single line system implemented at the Firearms Desk. For example, management could implement the post and ribbon line lanes (like the bank and airport). Doing so would greatly improve the experience in the eyes of this reviewer.

Came in looking for kayaks they had a few but not the one that I was looking for I asked for customer service for information I can order online and have it delivered to the store however I could not see them in the store their computers were down I did find a few clearance with great prices on jackets and shirts

Went there today and found employees were not wearing masks. I feel so gross and will not be returning. They werent requiring customers to wear masks a well.

Solid on brand Sportmans Warehouse. It was a bit crowded when I went and they had to open up another register and that helped. Due to COVID-19 the inventory was not robust. However, it has a lot of items.

This business is a disgrace. Not requiring staff or costumers to wear masks is such a gross disregard for public health.

I absolutely enjoying my shopping experience every chance I get to shop here. Whenever I have money enough to spend I like to spend it here. Although, I am without my eyes site now I still love getting out into the outdoors every chance that I get. I love the selection from here because, I am just under 7 feet tall, and I am just under 300 towns. It is rather difficult for me to find outdoor gear that will appropriately fit me. I was able to find some most excellent hunting boots from here that I still wear to this day, and they are the most comfortable hunting boots I have ever owned in my life. Also, they had a very nice selection of sleeping bags to fit my gigantic body. I am not a heavyset guy I am just a gigantic Mountain Man. The sleeping bags were awesome. I got one for 20 to 40 degrees, and I got another one bit is good for Five Below Zero. It is an elk Hunter. It is the thickest most comfortable sleeping bag, and it has a flannel lining on the inside. They have a most excellent selection of tents. I do wish that they had a better selection of knives. I also wish that they did a better job of educating some of their staff about the equipment that they are supposed to be selling. I am 100% blind, and rely on these individuals to know at least something about what they are selling me. They can at least attempt to read the package once in awhile... P. S. Boys do not really ever grow up they just get better toys

A huge inventory of great outdoor gear. The firearm area was very slow on service and almost completely out of 9mm shells. All in all a very good experience.

Real nice place. Employees all look Sharpe and neat, very respectful, and helpful. Especially in the clothing area the young man was awesome.

We love sportsmans! This is my husband sean allyn he and I used to go there alot but he cheated on me with women all over that area.

No register open only customer service desk. Cupboards are a bit bare.

Price matching. Pick something out. Search it on your phone. Get the cheapest price. Tell the clerk. They will take an additional five percent off the lowest price you can find. I picked up a $60 Mora Bushcraft Black for $28 plus tax this way.

The last time...my family and I will be treated rudely by staff at this store. We will gladly spend our money elsewhere!

I’ve always like Sportsman’s Warehouse more than Cabelas since they pretty much have the same merchandise as Cabelas at 15-20% less. In many cases they actually have a better selection of staples like ammo, reloading supplies and camping gear.

Rude employees, kid at the gun counter was talking down to me and was super rude. I guess he didnt want my business. Drove over to cabelas and bought a gun there instead.

I got a really good price on the perfect sleeping bag that I was looking for.I always love going in there to look at all the goodies

Great sale on items

Terrible experience! Found a jacket i wanted they did not have my size and employee said he could order the correct size for me online. He placed the order and i recieved a completely different jacket not even close to the same! Returned to the store a different employee said another store had the jacket and contacted them but was told it was in a box in the back. I HAD TO CONTACT THE OTHER STORE ON MY OWN and was given a gift card instead of a refund. The other store told me they could not locate the jacket. Now i have a gift card with no jacket. Terrible all around will not return.

I dont hate this place. Its a very good place to go for you camping ,fishing , and hunting trips. They have what you will need at a fair price.

The store has a pretty decent selection of fishing products. The customer service though is nonexistent. The associates will look you right in the eye and not greet you. The cashier definitely needed help with his personality also.
